You have the ultimate convenience. You first step away as far as you deem respectful, depending on your crowd. Or maybe you just turn your back without a break in conversation. You choose your location with the heart of a mischievous boy, and think to yourself, What would I like to pee on most in this area.. . Years of experience gives you olympian accuracy. You hang your head, relax your shoulders, and you watch your pee disrupt the stillness of what’s around you. Maybe you found a bush, and you peed all over its leaves and watched them shake as you insulted them. Or perhaps, there is a big rock you’d like to pee down. Maybe you watch it change color as it trickles away from your feet. I bet you’re the kind of person who loves to take a whiz in the snow. You wiggle your chilled ween, swirl it around, and let it melt into an artwork of drizzles and trails. Or, maybe, you’re the kind of person who likes to look around and soak it all in, and at night, you spot the moon. I bet you feel liberated. Freed from the bellow of your bladder. Freed from propriety. You feel as though you’ve just spit off of a high bridge. And you are not alone in your enjoyment of this act.
And all your secret business. So much consideration goes into the female outdoor piss. You must have skill about it. I know you consider the slope of the earth before you. I know you watch your stream to make sure it doesn’t splatter your jeans and sandaled feet. You have refined your technique with pride, because it is a challenge, isn’t it? You must watch out for thorns and nature’s booby-traps while you situate yourself to avoid mooning your friends. You always look down, don’t you? I bet it’s a long, strong pee too, because God knows you waited until you absolutely had to. I hope you’re the kind of woman that likes to take a leak in a meadow full of wildflowers while weeds poke your cheeks. Or just maybe, you’ve found a fallen tree to sit on so you can give your quads a break as you catch sight of a slimy snail and a few little mushrooms. Then, you probably do a little wiggle and drip dry or you grab a nearby leaf to wipe your excess. When your challenge is won and you’ve pulled up your pants, you want to strut back to your male brothers because you are no different. Your pee is also yellow.

Went hiking and my friends and I went behind a big tree surrounded by bushes. Did a squat had tissue and we put in a bag and threw it away when we saw a garbage can. We were like 18 at the time. But I have peed outside when I was kid. Just don't remember how young.

I grew up in a hiking/camping/backpacking family. I peed outside all the time. You go off alone to find a spot to do your thing - no one watches you. But the campsite isn't far away.

I pee outside as a grown adult so of course I did it as a kid. I don't do potty buddies. Never have, never will.

Well, it is easy to do. Well, I was used to pee while standing up from start, developed this habit due to my physical disability. I can't stand up or sit down quickly.

Where I grew up there was a nice sized park for kids to go play at. It had pretty much everything you could imagine for kids. The problem was there was no bathroom. I can recall several times as a child seeing another child peeing at the park and not caring, nor the parent caring, that he was doing so. That park was the first time I saw another boy's private parts and was also the first time I ever saw another kid's bare bottom. The parents didn't seem to care and there were even females around. That park still, 13 years later, doesn't have a bathroom and parents still don't care that their kids expose themselves and use the bathroom right out in the open. As a parent, if you were put in this situation and your child had to use the bathroom would you care that they just went out in the open? As a parent of a daughter would you allow her to go to a park or place like that?
Actually, my little girl (4yo) will never do that in public, she will insist to go home or find a bathroom, it is not proper to let your kids pee just anywhere they want to. It is not a good habit as they will get use into it till they grow up.

Also, the one who maintain that park should also consider putting a toilet in there, as you told that it's been years and yet still no public toilet for the people who visit that park :(

Sometimes I have made my son pee in public but by the side of the road behind the trees.
that is kind of disgusting,someone should have gone up to them and said a word or so,since they are very young,they dont know basic manners which need to be inculcated
Hello there. I'm still single and I don't have any child yet. Maybe, if that would happen in the future that my child or children would like to urinate, but there's no comfort room around, maybe I'll leave that place and go to the nearest comfort room that I could find. I'm excited to have my kids also and maybe if I would have some daughters or sons in the future, I would really care about them. I would ask them how they're feeling. I would really be by their side when we go to some places like parks. Maybe, if they're still young that time, they won't even mind maybe seeing other kids peeing. Though, I wouldn't like them just to pee there because other people might see them and they might even look at me because I'm the parent. There are also some mischievous kids outside and I don't want them to make fun of my children. I would like to be always there with children when they're still young and I want to protect them too. Also, peeing just anywhere is not good because it wouldn't be clean anymore. I wouldn't like my future kids to go to a place like that. I hope in the future, they might also build a rest room near that park you are talking about so there wouldn't be problems when the kids or the whole family would like to pee or if they have their stomachache. If that would happen, that park would really be a convenient and good place to go to. Happy myLotting. :)
So here in my country, park have toilet but no bathroom so here each parent accompany their children to the park but they must look after them because no one will be responsable for their children so parents or family must look carefully to their child in the part.
It seems that we really don't care kids peeing in public. We'll just hope that this will change specially the girls. Your local government should do something about it. Maybe it needs some concerned citizen to bring this up to your local council.
ohh, i don't have any problem, children peeing out, they are children, and also they don't have much control , like elders on all these things, and also they eat and drink what ever they want , and when ever, let them enjoy, why so many restrictions from now itself on these poor and innocent kids, we should just see that all these doesn't cause any disturbance to others, as long as others are not disturbed everything is fine.
I would allow my child to pee out side before pissing on herself and having her feel uncomfortable till we got home. I don't see the harm in a child reliveing themselves. even if you pee before you leave the house who is to say the child won't drink something outside and have to pee. kids are inocent beings and anyone who could not see that is thinking other things that are not pure. I have seen grown men piss by their car doors and behind cars all the time. if they can do it you best believe a child can do it.
Oh my! It doesn't look inviting for me to let my kids go there. And to think how stinky it must smell on that place. Maybe you could make a petition stating that a public comfort room should be installed in the park and let parents who often visit the park sign on it. Maybe that would help.
In my country/culture it's not allowed to pee outside, it never was normal either. In some countries/cultures it's not a problem.
We have plenty of parks etc where are no toilets. So what I don't understand is: if it's normal for us (esp. girls/women) to go to the bathroom before we leave the house, why can't boys/men do the same?

Sorry but I have no respect for that at all.
I have been in other countries where are plenty of toilets everywhere (always a place where you may use the bathroom), way more as in our country. So if you have a kid, use this option. Don't be soo lazy. I will not allow my kids to pee outside, no matter if they are boy or girl. They never did and the change they ever will is very small, perhaps if they are very sick.
If a child really needs to go I would have no problem with him peeing outside, but not in a public area.
