Urban Decay Naked 3 is a permanent eye palette that retails for $52.00 and contains 0.6 oz.
Jump to a particular section if you know what information you're looking for!
Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette ($52.00 for 0.60 oz.) includes twelve eyeshadows, each 0.05 oz. (equivalent of a full-sized eyeshadow), in hues of pink and brown. It also includes a dual-ended eye brush, and a week's worth of samples of each of their primers. The case is a rose gold metal with "waves" indented across the exterior. Overall, it's a really lovely palette filled with eyeshadows that are highly pigmented, soft, blendable, and easy to use. With ten of the twelve, they wore well for just over eight hours without fading or creasing. Darkside was my favorite shade, as it was somewhat unusual, and it wasn't too frosted. Dust was the worst performer, which isn't unexpected, as it has a fair amount of glitter, which makes the texture less smooth and results in fall out during wear. Trick had minor fall out during wear, but it applied better and had more color payoff.

Best for fair skin tones. Its kind of a ridiculous palette, however, its really nice when paired with warmer palettes such as Viseart Warm Edit, ND Safari (the warmer shades), or Huda Obsessions - Topaz. Then it really shines.
That's a very special palette and serves a special purpose. It's super easy to blend, hard to mess up, pretty neutral colour scheme so can suit a lot of people. So I'd say it's a good beginner-friendly piece BUT if you know your colour scheme well enough already to make sure this pink peachy set is your cup of tea, plus schimmers are not as pigmented and creamy (I'd say even that they are pretty dry) as you might wish, don't expect Huda Beauty effect (dupes with New Nudes are really misleading in this case), yet they blend well and give you a nice barely there wash of colour. Nice thing – it doesn't fade, even less so with a base. So it's indeed what it claims to be – a naked makeup eyeshadow palette. When you want smth-smth on your eyes without a pronounce colour borders or shades. Not sure though if it would serve to darker skin complexions.
Love the colours, but it's pretty dissapointing, especially for the price point. Most shadows are quite dry and unpigmented, and the 2-3 pink/copepr shimmers are very similar once on the lid. The case though is pretty sturdy and it's very practical to travel with, however i'd rather bring something of better quality with me... I would say it's pretty beginner friendly as it's easy to blend, apply and mix&max the shades!!
A good palette for creating pink and mauve-toned romantic looks! A great day-to-night palette with lots of pretty pink-based neturals. I do find some of the shades have glitter fallout or could be more pigmented. Similar to the Lorac Unzipped, you can do a day or night look, but cannot create a wide variety of different looks - most of them look similar.
To be honest I think that it was a rip off. It costs so much money and I was expecting it to be all it was hyped up to be but it was:
-Dry and powdery.
-Full of fall out.
-The shimmer shades were barely pigmented when appplied with a brush.
-Very over priced
Although there were some good factors such as I think the colour choice was good and the packaging was really good. I think that personally if I had the choice to buy this again I wouldn't, but its just personal preference and it might work better for other people.
This is a perfect palette to show off green eyes. My two favorite colors are the mattes Nooner and Limit, which are the two most important colors in the palette, as they are both great transition shades. Nooner looks great in the crease.
Other than those two colors plus the off-white Strange, the rest of the colors have shimmer. Once Nooner and Limit are gone, I'll have to find dupes to go with the rest of the palette. They really ought to sell single replacement colors. This detail shaved off a star of my review.
Some of the shimmers are better than others, but most are very good and easy to use. The one exception is Dust. I have a hard time getting this color onto my eyelids. Very high fallout. There isn't much pigmentation, just a bit of sparkle.
They should re-release this palette with a double portion of Nooner instead of Dust. Then I would give it a full five stars. (A double portion of Limit would earn extra credit!)
I like this palette, but it didn't wow me the way I wanted it to. I find the lighter shimmer shades to be rather chunky, and three of the brown shades, mugshot, factory, and liar, look different in the pan but look virtually the same on my eyes. The only shades I really like in this palette are the mattes, which have a really nice formula, but all of them are quite light so there is essentially no crease shades for darker skin-tones.
Altogether, this palette is way overhyped and overpriced, I would much rather purchase the Lorac unzipped palette instead of this.
Beautiful palette, colors are great for fall. There is fallout on some of the lighter colors like Dust. Not as well done as the original Naked.
One of the items I'd coveted forever. But as much as I adore it, I've found (after using it many times), it doesn't blend well with other brands. It also has a little bit of fallout so I've always liked using my finger more than the brush. I don't try and create looks with it when I have a limited time to work on makeup. The colors are amazing and unique, though, so I think it's an important part of your makeup collection. I do love it, I just don't use it every day, like I had hoped I would. Only a minor disappointment.
What can I say about this palette! It is so beautiful. It is not as 'naked' as the first palette however with the colours being neutral but not so much 'I'm not wearing any makeup' appropriate. Some absolutely beautiful and feminine looks to be created from this palette.
Ever since I purchased this palette, I reach for it every single day. The pigmentation is fantastic, glides on smoothly, and is true to pan. The colours not only pair well together with others in the palette, but also in conjunction with other colours from other NAKED palettes. Many people call this palette (as well as other NAKED palettes) their HG for a nude eye, and it's no wonder they do. This palette delivers! It's also fantastic for travel because you can create a wide variety of looks without carrying half a dozen different eye products.
The only colour I had a bit of time adapting to was Dust, which has quite a fair amount of fallout. A solution that has worked for me has been to apply minimal product at a time, and patting this colour on the desired area.
I am in love with this palette! it is incredible and it has so many good colors, and the number of looks you can do is amazing! you can go from a very rose/pink look to a warmer brownish-rosy look! It is amazing!
Definitely my favorite of the three Naked palettes. I am especially loving the matte shades Nooner and Limit and strange. They make a fantastic quick and easy look for when I'm running out of the door.

Mix of matte, pearl, and shimmer finishes
Rosy neutral palette works on most skin tones
Small amount of fallout from shimmer shades
Much like the original, Urban Decay's Naked3 Palette lives up to the hype. With its soft but pigmented shades and varying finishes, it’s a great addition to any makeup kit, from professional to beginner.

We put the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette to the test after receiving a complimentary sample from the brand. Keep reading for our full product review.

Even though I am a no-makeup makeup kind of girl, I‘ve always had a special thing for eyeshadow palettes . The textures, the shine, the color story—call me a magpie, but I have a penchant for shiny beauty things.

The Urban Decay Naked3 Palette is particularly beautiful. With 12 rosy shades all housed in a weighty pink palette, it’s no surprise it’s a makeup legend. Admittedly, I’d never tried it until recently—like I said, I’m not super adventurous when it comes to makeup and have been loyal to one Dior palette for years. But in an almost post-lockdown world, it felt like the right time to try something new. Keep reading for my full review.

Best for: All skin types and tones.
Uses: As an eyeshadow palette, though it can also double as a blush or highlighter.
About the brand: Urban Decay is an American makeup brand founded by Wendy Zomnir. Designed to be high-performance and cruelty-free, it’s best known for cult products like the Naked Eyeshadow Palette and All Nighter Setting Spray.

I don’t really have any sensitivities around my eyes, so can happily play around with eyeshadows and the like. As for my skin tone, it’s medium with a slight olive undertone. I don’t believe in makeup rules, but any warm, slightly golden shades look especially nice on me.

Of all the Urban Decay Naked palettes to exist (including the now discontinued original version—sad, I know) Naked3 is definitely the softest and most romantic. On first glance, the overall color palette is pink; think soft blush tones, dusty rose hues, and deep, rich burgundies. I personally found them all quite cool as well—thankfully, no frostiness.

With 12 shades in total, you can really pick and choose your look, from a simple everyday wash of color to a full-blown smoky eye . As for the textures, there’s a mix of pearl, matte, and metallic shimmers.

When it comes to eyeshadow palettes, anything goes—it's up to you and the look you want to create. Given my lack of skills, I loved dusting a single shade such as Limit all over using the provided brush, then pressing one of the shimmers on top with my ring finger. You can go for complicated wings and cut creases if you wish, but the palette lends itself really well to a soft, everyday aesthetic if you're looking for simplicity.

Another tip from me is to use the shimmer shades as highlighter on the cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and inner corners of the eye as well—the color payoff is amazing and they almost melt into the skin. Dust and Burnout are my favorites for this.

Emily Algar/Design by Cristina Cianci

Urban Decay's Naked3 Palette is all about rich pigment, a long-wearing finish, and multi-dimensional texture. It doesn’t crease or fall out excessively, the colors stay true, and it’s easy to apply. The soft, peachy-pink hues also made my green eyes look extra bright, so you can be sure I’ll be calling on this one often to take my everyday face up a notch.

Is it just me, or do eyeshadow palettes seem to last forever? For that reason, I don’t mind throwing down a little bit of cash—I know it will be in my kit for a long time. Naked3 is definitely up there in regards to price, but the payoff is beautiful and the shades are excellent, so I think it’s reasonable. It also comes with a soft, vegan dual-ended brush and a mirrored compact, so you have everything you need for touch-ups on the go.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Eyeshadow Palette: This palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills ($45) is what romantic eye makeup dreams are made of. It’s bolder than the Urban Decay one, but there’s still a great mix of neutral shades and brighter pinks. There
