Games should be about fun, not entrapment. Yes I know how ironic it is that I’m saying this about a game literally designed around mind control, but it’s what I believe. Highly unique concept, even for an ‘adult’ game. This is a kink you’re not going to be able to explore anywhere else. Bugs. (Only one game breaking bug was encountered in my play though. Sandra, once fully infested, will crash the game if the player enters her room.) Slow loading times. (The game loads fine in the first level, or Part 1, but once back on Earth, the loading times become much slower. Moving around the environment and going to new areas takes longer than it should, but if you want to argue, 3 to 5 seconds of loading.
The story. (Quite interesting and enjoyable. It had my attention right off the bat and held it for the duration of the game.) The parasites. (I personally love body modification in 18+ games and this does just that. The parasites even mind control the host body if a Werm is implanted in a Choker and the hosts resistance is low enough. If the player wants to be fully controlled, you will need to have every available parasite attached and merged before implanting yourself with a Werm in your Choker. Otherwise you will resist and remain in control. I don’t believe this effects the story, but I suppose it could.) The save feature. (It is confusing and can be buggy, but it does work. The parasite’s voice. (The player begins hearing the parasite speak to them in their mind once a Choker is attached. I personally didn’t mind it at all, and the volume is low enough that it’s just background sound to me. For those who dislike it or even hate it, mute it in settings.) the “the way women are written” schtick is directed more at the game’s background lore about specifically how the women of an alien species are by nature submissive. It got on my nerves less because it’s a constant in your face issue, like it is in a LOT of steam adult games, and more because it’s an issue that doesn’t need to be there for the game to work, but still makes me feel like I’m being stereotyped in a dismissive way. I guess part of why I rambled on that is cause I’ve worked with porn for a while, as well as porn writers and am fairly aware that there are a tonne of ways to write around it and produce the same scenario but without making someone reading your piece feel shit about it or themselves. okay, originally I wrote a fairly negative review about the game when there was just the first, very small chapter, but now there are more, I can say that the game is now a thing that you can have an enjoyable extended experience with for more than 15 minutes. I haven’t played far into it and won’t really write much else until I have, but I think if you enjoy text games, and have a fascination with either this fetish, or just bizarre fantasy fetishes in general, I’ll give it a tentative recommendation for the time being Each part offers a slightly different experience This is an s-tier porn game.
