I do like this heater a lot. It is sturdy, has options for wattage output, has tip protection, and keeps the bedroom in the RV from freezing. The ONLY thing I dislike about this heater is that it blows continuously. If the thermostat has reached temp, it will blow cooler air until it needs to heat again. If you don't have to be near the heater all the time, you wouldn't notice this much. It's just that I have to sleep near it so it's always going and would be nice for a little quiet sometimes. It runs a lot quieter than other heaters though, but I can still hear it of course. I would buy this again. I took a chance buying a heater with zero reviews and am not disappointed.
This heater works! It quickly and efficiently heats up a 200 square foot room. It’s incredible quality too, not cheap plastic like other compact heaters — the body is coated steel and wow does it make a huge difference. Even the on/off switch is well made, sturdy, and smarty housed in a protective cover. The safety mechanism works every time. The cord is an ideal length for setting up on the floor, a table, or counter. The back of the h it and the handle stay cool, the outer body gets warm, and the heat output is stellar and comforting. The adjustable temperature also works, going from room temperature air to hot air. It makes a tiny amount of noise, but it’s steady and just the sound of blowing air. I love this heater. So glad I didn’t give up on researching until I found it! If I ever need another one I’d absolutely buy it again. Safety, warmth, quality, good looks — it’s a winner. Go for it!
Had a different heater in another room and couldn't use them both.
I put this in my garage to heat it up for my daughter’s dog who is staying with us for a couple of months. Works great! We are in Texas but every once in a while it gets cold. He is a husky/ shepherd mix and just needs a little warmth to be comfortable. The heater is quiet and works well.
It would probably heat a really small, well insulated room just fine but in my 120sf poorly insulated room, I huddle in front of it with a blanket draped over my shoulders to get warm. The thing is tiny, I didnt check dimensions so partially my fault.
As with any space heater, it prefers a dedicated outlet and most importantly do not use an extension cord as instructed. I did some experimenting, and almost burned the house down, through no fault of the unit. I was pleasantly surprised at how after a period of continuous duty, it took the chill out of a fairly large basement. Recommended.
Only thing is the heater does not push out as much heat as others, even when on high watts.
It is very safe, but not for a large area at all. Only buy if you need it for a very small area. But if you even touch it, the power goes off which I am thrilled with.
