Overwatch League Tokens are a currency used to purchase Overwatch League skins.
There are several ways to acquire Overwatch League tokens:
Every hero has a skin for each team in the Overwatch League, costing 100 apiece.
A password will be e-mailed to you.
Some of the Overwatch League skins and cosmetics are cooler than any of the other unlockable skins in the main game. We get that. And many collectors like to have all of the unlockable skins that they can for each of the characters. But if you want to be able to collect the Overwatch League skins, you’ll need League tokens.
There are a few things you need to do in order to grab those precious tokens in Overwatch , so here’s how to do it.
League Tokens are only available to grab during certain times of the year when Overwatch League streams are in full-force. The main way to pick up tokens is simply by watching tournaments live.
You can earn five tokens for each hour you spend watching streams during live matches.
If you’re not sure which streams count towards tokens you can head over to the Overwatch League website during the season for some suggestions from Blizzard. There are lots of channels on Twitch.tv that stream the Overwatch League so you’ll have plenty of options.
If you play Overwatch on Xbox, PlayStation or Nintendo Switch you’ll have to make sure that your account is linked to your battle.net account before you can redeem your tokens. Once you’ve done that, head to the “Overwatch League” on Overwatch’s main menu.
You can see up in the top right of the menu how many tokens you have as well as which teams you’re able to buy cosmetics for. Click on your favourite team and you can see the skins for available for each character. Hit redeem just like you would with a skin in game and you’ve got your new Overwatch League skin using your hard-earned tokens.
The rewards system is back for the fifth season of OWL, with League Tokens available for those fans that tune in.
After a long offseason, the Overwatch League has finally returned. The fifth season of OWL features perhaps the biggest change in competitive Overwatch's history, as it will be played using a beta version of the sequel's PvP.
Here's everything you need to know about Overwatch League Tokens, including how to connect your accounts, how to get them, and more.
The Overwatch League revealed that a total of five League Tokens will be given out each hour. Before anything else, you must make sure your Battle.net and YouTube accounts are linked. You can verify this by clicking right here .
You'll need to watch at least one-hour minimum to get your League Tokens. The more you watch, the more you'll get.
If you're trying to get drops via embedded players or using the YouTube app on TV or media devices such as consoles, you won't get any, be mindful of that. As a final reminder, the English, French, and Korean Overwatch League broadcasts are eligible, so you can tune in to your favorite.
In total, viewers will have to watch five hours of each tournament to get the Home and Away skins of the featured skin per event.
