A caricature of insincerity vs true acceptance
I watched this movie yesterday and I really liked it. I don't think it was made to be realistic, instead I saw it like a caricature of us, humans. We crave for safety and order, but we also crave for love and acceptance. These things are often at odds, because each of us is a well of creativity and unpredictability. When we try to have a very orderly, predictable life we often need to lie, to others and ourselves. I don't think this movie is a about sexual chemistry and things like that. I think it's about love and acceptance. It's about true stability, not about being able to predict how the future will be like, but the ability to know that some people will not abandon us, even when we make terrible mistakes. Instead, they'll try to understand. That's true security. I think this movie is about the most important topic of all: to be true to oneself. And it treats the subject in a light manner. Not a perfect movie, but I liked watching it!

Somewhat primitive, but effective lesbian porn
First entry in this successful series for Girlfriends Films, LESBIAN SEDUCTIONS emphasizes the "older/younger" aspect of the genre, almost testing the viewer's attitude towards "how old is too old?". I enjoyed it, but personally am in the camp that believes that geriatric sex should remain a private activity, not to be immortalized on screen for fun and profit. Lengthy video consists of 3 separate vignettes. First one stars Autumn Moon, a familiar face on the lesbian scene who has more recently launched a more mainstream career in TV and movies (including work as an extra). She's the mom figure in a two-hander opposite beautiful young Brianna Love, familiar from upteen gonzo boy/girl shoots. The exact relationship between the two is (purposely) left hanging, as they discuss the birds & the bees in their kitchen. The big-breasted mom figure Autumn explains in the bedroom to Brianna why it is natural for young girls to wonder about kissing each other and beyond. She gives her a hands-on demonstration of lesbian sex, and the scene is very natural and sensitively staged, benefiting from Autumn's low-key performance. One assumes that they are mom and daughter (which would make this incest) given the setting -they don't seem to be landlady and boarder, but that is not spelled out. The breast worship is stimulating, and Brianna's expert tribbing a bit suspect given her character's supposed total innocence. Soothing segment leads to murmuring of "I love you" and Brianna sleeping peacefully, head laid on Autumn's ample chest. Second vignette is the odd one, giving the video its edge and still having an impact (at least for me) a decade after it was released. Two old ladies with southern accents, Karin Jewell and Lola Lee, have a quickie snuggle-sex in the morning before they have to conquer laziness and go out (to work? -not specified). They look to be in their 60s (minimum) and qualify in a "granny sex" fetish way that is still popular enough to merit a slew of videos on demand offered by my local Time Warner cable service. Outdoors there's been a flood in town, as we see cars trying to plow dangerously through soaked intersections, so the elderly duo has to check into a hotel room overnight with their very young friend Holly Morgan. Holly has the career of an omnivore: appearing in lesbian, gonzo boy/girl and various fetish assignments. The threesome of two old dominating one very young is a matter of taste - I found it a bit much, but then again, there's already a double standard at work given Holly's other lurid non-lesbian titles. One key moment is an intentionally dramatic use of distorting first-person camera when Lola parts Holly's legs early in the (still soft-core and clothed) stage of the onslaught. Clearly the rape fantasies that permeate mainstream boy/girl porn have their corresponding lesbian versions. Concluding line is that Molly is "no longer a virgin". Third segment is the video's calling card and points towards the series' future. (Note that the main change over the years in many of Girlfriends' videos is a natural switch from employing more authentic lesbian talent to the sure-fire and successful approach of heavily loading their programs with the very top names and most popular actresses in porn (e.g., Julia Ann, Lisa Ann).) At age 53, Diane Diamonds is a unique looking performer who, if IMDb's obviously suspect mini bio is true, split her career between prostitution and Adult video work. She is an amazing lady, bigger upfront than Candy Samples (more reminiscent of Letha Weapons) but rather stoic as she puts young beauty (and Girlfriends FIlms regular Nikki/Kyla through her paces. In this finale the relationship of the two women is again left hanging, as we meet Diane folding Kyla's laundry. It is the young girl who seduces her elder, with Diane's repetitive protests of "you're not ready for this" ringing false. Afterward there's time for one more climax, with Kyla licking Diane's vagina, saying: "Promise you're gonna come for me". Just proves the adage that it is better to give than receive. No superstars invited, but quality porn.
