OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER MAKE BLOCKBUSTER TRADE TO ACQUIRE STAR FORWARD

Oklahoma City, April 5, 2025 — In a stunning move ahead of the NBA playoffs, the Oklahoma City Thunder have finalized a trade to acquire All-Star forward Pascal Siakam from the Indiana Pacers. The deal, confirmed by league sources late Friday night, sends a package including Josh Giddey, Tre Mann, and two future first-round picks to Indiana in exchange for the two-time NBA champion.

With the Thunder (52-22) sitting comfortably as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, General Manager Sam Presti made an aggressive push to bolster the team's frontcourt. Siakam, a versatile 6'8' forward, brings championship experience, elite scoring, and defensive versatility—addressing Oklahoma City's need for a proven playoff performer.

'We’re thrilled to add a player of Pascal’s caliber,' said Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault. 'His ability to score in the post, defend multiple positions, and lead on the court is exactly what we need for a deep playoff run.'
