100% chance shits bugged and the shotgun man is invisible to the other man. He is obviously in his inventory wondering why the fuck he is dying and trying to heal it. He has no idea there's a guy standing there.

Two weeks before 12.12 wipe a buddy and me started tarkov again to be ready for wipe. In one of our first raids together he was really pissed at me because "i was looting instead of killing the scav that shot him" and im like...wtf you drunk again? nothing is shooting.
And he is like...are you fucking dense? Its shooting RIGHT NOW.
He then killed the scav and tried to show me the body. It wasnt there. I streamed on discord for him to believe me - the scav simply was NOT in my game, yet he was able to hurt me. My arm was broken and i didnt even hear a gunshot or realized i got shot at all.
This was a scav NPC tho. Its a scary thought other players can be invisible aswell.
It’s happened to me before where I’ve been killed by zero sound. It’s quite possible there was a hidden scav firing at me point blank that wasn’t viewable to me.
I had a scav run with a friend on reserve and there had been a massacre behind white knight. He did not see the bodies or could not interact with them unless I interacted first. After that raid I realized that I must've had the same bug many times at least when scaving since I had surprisingly many games where I couldn't see a single body. Hotspots with at least guaranteed scav bodies and nothing? More likely the server is keeping all the loot to itself 💩
The way the player was acting, I doubt you were even on his screen. I know this glitch has been around for a while and is still here. Saw a video of a streamer where his buddy could see him but he couldn't see his buddy.
Yeah had that bug with my friend as well. His character was standing still in spawn but his "ghost" could move around and gun shit down. Pretty whacky.
But he should have heard the gunshots...
The pmc isn't bad, there's clearly some desync or something at play here. Also unless those are ap20, flechettes or 50bmg slugs you don't want to shoot the chest. Buckshot is for legs.
Or eyes :D Died so often to 7mm Buckshot straight to the face from a scav 40 meters away.
"you guys are so bad!" proceeds to shoot 7.5mm into lvl 4 armor.

Tell your friend to stop using Double Tap. Last I checked it doesn't work properly. The second shell is delayed and shoots in the air. Maybe they fixed it, but this is how it was a week or so ago. It's easy to test. Just shoot near a wall. You'll see one of the shots several meters up the wall. It was the first thing I was using this wipe and it fails miserably. I still love that sg tho.
That's how double barrel shotguns work, actually. They replicated it quite well, and most of the gun-nut friends I have were wildly impressed.
