I feel like it’s kinda normal They give birth to you, take complete control over you as if you were some slave, try to manipulate you into thinking that you’re just a kid & everything you’re going through is just a “phase”, make YOUR decisions FOR YOU(because apparently we can’t do that either) and somehow expect you to learn from your mistakes like, yeah, the mistakes you obliged me to never commit cuz I’m not allowed to be human? Sure. They can literally completely discard your feelings(or just pretend that they don’t exist) yet still man

Moral of the story: coming from personal experience, parents are close-minded cuz they literally come from the Stone Age & they’re mentally convinced that everything they do is right & ur just a naive little spoiled brat. I guess just bare with them until they die Idfk‍♀️
