Brigitte " Brigitte " Lindholm is a Support class hero in Overwatch .

No longer sitting on the sidelines, Brigitte Lindholm has taken up arms to defend those in need of protection.

The youngest daughter of weapons designer, Torbjörn Lindholm, Brigitte was the first of his children to show an interest in mechanical engineering. Brigitte spent much of her spare time in her father's workshop, learning the trade and honing her skills. Her aptitude for engineering mirrored that of her father's, but Brigitte's primary interest was in armor fabrication and defensive systems, unlike Torbjörn, who was world renowned (and perhaps infamous) for the weapons he created.

Everyone expected that Brigitte would continue her apprenticeship and follow in her father's footsteps. But her plans changed due to influence of another prominent figure in her life, her father's close friend and fellow Overwatch agent, Reinhardt Wilhelm. A close friend of the family and Brigitte's godfather, Reinhardt told Brigitte tales of heroes and chivalry as she grew up. After his retirement and Overwatch's fall, Reinhardt declared that he would become a knight-errant on a quest to bring justice. Before he left on his adventures, Brigitte surprised him by asking to join him as his squire. Reinhardt accepted.

As a squire, Brigitte had many responsibilities, the most important of which was the upkeep of Reinhardt's Crusader armor (a design she was familiar with as the current version was designed by her father). But more and more, she found her main job was taking care of Reinhardt himself, trying to protect him from his overenthusiasm even as his body was breaking down from years of combat.

Eventually, she realized that serving only as a mechanic wasn't enough, and that the best way she could aid Reinhardt was to become a warrior in her own right. While Reinhardt trained her in combat, Brigitte began to build her own suit of armor in secret.

Now Brigitte fights at Reinhardt's side to protect him, and any others in need as knight and squire journey to make the world a better place, one battle at a time.

Brigitte has a ton of well-design skins, but these ones are arguably the best of them all.
Brigitte is Overwatch's 27th hero; a feisty, stubborn-minded mechanical engineer who wears her Swedish roots and family pride on her chest. A former squire for mainstay tank Reinhardt and daughter to DPS giant Torbjorn, Brigitte is one of the most lore-connected characters within the main Overwatch cast, and a great defensive healer to boot.
As a spear and shield type character, Brigitte has some excellent skins that make the most of her weapons, and with her armor/cape combo she has a lot of opportunity in her base design for interesting themed skins. Here we round up some of the best of them.
There's not a lot to say about Carbon Fiber, which is perhaps a bit of a hint as to why it's placed so low on this ranking. A step up from the simple base single shade skins with its light gradients and light blue details, this Epic skin will cost you 250 gold to unlock
Carbon Fiber is part of a much larger set of skins (all featuring similar designs under the Carbon Fiber name) across playable characters in Overwatch. Other characters who have matching skins include Sigma , Orisa, Genji & Zenyatta.
Mani is the first of two fantasy-styled Legendary skins that were available for Brigitte at the time of her release. Unlike its flashier counterpart, Mani is rendered in a subtle grey, almost monochromatic style, making it a very muted skin.
In both Mani and Sol Brigitte appears as a knight in shining armor, and it makes for a great choice for her set weapons — a mace and a shield. There's lovely detailing here, but, sadly the dulled design of this skin means it ranks a little lower than most. You can unlock Mani year-round, and as a Legendary skin, it will cost you 1,000 gold.
Riot Police is one of Brigitte's many Legendary skins, and whilst the design is quite good, it seems a bit unfinished when compared to some of the more detail-focused skins. It does, however, pair well with other military and armed forces-themed skins, such as Officer D.Va.
In this Anniversary Legendary, Brigitte appears as a Swedish riot police officer, with matching police armor, shoulder packs, backpack, and face shield. As a seasonal skin, you'll need to be in the right season to unlock Riot Police, and it should cost you 1,000 gold.
The first of two heavily lore-based skins for Brigitte is Mechanic. Both of these skins make reference to Brigitte's life pre-Overwatch, when she studied under her father and others, worked with Reinhardt, and began to build her own armor.
Mechanic has a really cool color scheme that really suits the theme and also pays tribute to Brigitte's Swedish roots. There are some nice details in the texturing of Brigitte's work overalls, the bandages on her arms, and the grime on her clothes. As a base Legendary, this skin can be unlocked at any time for the cost of 1,000 gold.
Engineer is the second of two base Legendaries for Brigitte that reference her backstory, this time a red and camo-green skin that reflects Brigitte's past as a mechanical engineer.
In both Engineer and Mechanic, there are loads of references to Brigitte's lore, but we especially love the inclusion of her father's favorite wrench, which sits on Brigitte's back in both skins. As a base Legendary, you can unlock Engineer for 1,000 gold at any time.
Ironclad, like Engineer and Mechanic before it, speaks heavily of Birgitte's in-game lore — especially of her family heritage and her close connection with her father, Torbjorn . Ironclad is the most obvious of the trio but is also the best executed (and the cheapest!).
Ironclad matches Torbjorn's skin of the same name and refers to when both Lindholms' were part of the Ironclad Guild, noted by the multiple cog symbols painted across this cosmetic. There are lovely little touches in Ironclad that push it ahead of others: the textures and gradients at play, the balancing on the red, yellow, and grey, and even the smudges of grease across Brigitte's nose. This Epic skin will cost you 250 gold and can be unlocked at any time.
Summer Games are a season to represent your favorite teams, and Brigitte's Tre Kronor skin does not shy away from this tradition. This Epic level skin repaints Brigitte's armor into a bold blue and yellow — the colors of Sweden's flag, which funnily enough is actually shown draped from Brigitte's hips.
This skin represents not just Sweden broadly but specifically the symbolic Three Crowns of Sweden, as well as referencing Sweden's national Ice Hockey team, which has the same name as this cosmetic. As it's a Summer Games skin you can only unlock this during the summer season. However, as an Epic skin, when it is in season, it will only cost you 250 gold — a complete steal!
The greater of two base fantasy-styled Legendary skins for Brigitte is arguably Sol, rendered beautifully in gold and purple. In Brigitte's backstory, we discover that she worked for a time as a squire to fellow Overwatch teammate, Reinhardt, so this 'knight in shining armor' styled look isn't actually too far from the in-game lore mark.
Sol puts Brigitte in shining silver armor detailed in gold accents. Her sash is rendered in bright, royal purple, and her helmet — transformed into a gold-trimmed face shield — has giant plumes of purple feathers attached. This is a great skin to pair with other fantasy-themed skins and can be unlocked at any time, costing 1,000 gold . Make sure to grab Brigitte's golden weapons (and don't forget to check out her shield) for this skin because they pair together almost seamlessly!
If you want to impress but you're on a budget, it's worth checking out Brigitte's General skin. This awesome skin sees Brigitte as a Chinese general and was released during the Lunar New Year season. The gold trim and studded armor really work well with Brigitte's Golden weapon too.
Whilst being a seasonal skin means that General is locked to the Lunar New Year , this skin is actually an Epic and as such only costs a paltry 750 gold — well worth it for such an impressive look.
When it comes to impressive seasonal Legendaries, Feskarn is up there, with its great use of color and sheer attention to detail. Like many of Brigitte's skins, the devil is in the details, and, in Feskarn there are so many details to talk about: the rubber shine of Brigitte's waders, the traditional color-blocked clothing, the trucker cap, the dangling fish, the netting? It all comes together in this fantastic skin that is well worth the Legendary price tag.
As a Summer Games 2020 Legendary skin, you will need to wait till Summer to unlock Feskarn. It should cost you around 1,000 gold.
For such a simple idea, this Legendary skin is one of the more complex cosmetics that Brigitte wears. Shieldmaiden sees Brigitte going as close to Viking as we'll probably ever see her, with some great details to really make this skin appear authentic. War paint crisscrosses Brigitte's biceps and stains her hair; wood detailing replaces usually metal-based armors, and fur and leather are layered together, building up into a cloaklike skirt.
Complete with bear-head trimmed shoulder pads, the Legendary skin Shieldmaiden will set you back 1,000 gold. However, it is only available during the Anniversary season , but as you can see, it's worth the wait.
Close to the top is this excellent (and extremely limited) skin for Brigitte, released as part of the Halloween Terror season in 2020 . Stone renders our favorite young mechanical engineer into...well, stone. There's a great use of texture in this skin's design, and the lines of fire along Brigitte's armor are an especially nice touch.
Stone was a weekly challenge reward , which means that it, unfortunately, cannot currently be purchased — it is currently unknown as to whether we will see these weekly skins unlocked for general purchase in the future.
Taking the title in our ranking of Brigitte's skins is the Legendary Opera skin. Released as part of the Lunar New Year season , Opera sees Brigitte dressed for a Chinese Opera, with some really striking color combinations. As it was part of the Lunar New Year season, this skin can only be purchased in season and should cost you 1,000 gold.
There's so much detail to this Legendary skin, from Brigitte's headpiece to her makeup and jewelry, to the detailing on her armor and weapon — all topped off with a set of spiked flags on her back. Every section has multiple layers of detailed textures and intricate patterns, making this skin simply mindboggling to even glance at.

Blizzard has announced a new Overwatch Medic Brigitte skin as part of its new ‘Support a Streamer’ program, which encourages Twitch viewers to buy subscriptions for their favorite content creators.
The promotion to get the skin will run roughly around the second Overwatch 2 beta , which will give viewers the chance to pick up the skin while watching some of the community’s biggest names play Overwatch 2 . It also gives them an incentive to support their favorite personalities within the scene.
As an added bonus, this skin is available right now in Overwatch 1, so you don't even have to wait for the sequel to launch. And don't worry, the skin will transfer to the sequel once it arrives.
As an extra bit of fun, the Brigitte skin appears to be based on the StarCraft 2 medic units. It’s not pointed out in any of the marketing materials, but the resemblance is certainly uncanny. This makes it the fourth StarCraft-inspired skin in the game, alongside the Kerrigan and Nova Widowmaker Skins, Reinhardt’s Raynor skin that was part of Blizzard’s 30th-anniversary event, and a legendary Immortal Orisa skin.
What do you need, and more crucially, how much money do you have to spend to get the new skin? Here’s everything you need to know about securing it.
Getting your hands on the skin is relatively easy, it will just cost some money and a little support for a Twitch streamer of your choice. First off, the promotion runs from June 29 at 11:00 a.m. PDT until July 20 at 11:00 a.m. PDT . Any subs outside of this period won’t count towards getting the skin, so keep that in mind.
To secure it, you need to gift three subscriptions to a participating Twitch streamer. In order to do that, head over to Twitch.tv (opens in new tab) and sign in (or create an account if you don’t have one yet.)
Once you are logged in, you can head to one of the participating Twitch streams (see below) while they are playing Overwatch. Once there, you have to buy three subscriptions to the Twitch streamer. One of these will be for you (unless you are subscribed already), and then any remaining ones will go to others in chat.
Twitch Subscriptions cost $4.99 / £3.99 / AU$8.99, so times that by three to get the skin. Of course, remember that you get one free Twitch subscription if you're an Amazon Prime user.
Once you have done this, you should get a notification from Twitch with a code. When you have your code, head over to Battle.net (opens in new tab) . Sign in to your account (or sign up for an account and link it to the email connected to your console profile), and head over to your Account Overview (opens in new tab) . In the first box, right underneath the words "Account Overview" is a "Redeem A Code" box. Paste your code in there and hit "Redeem Code".
After that, you should be good to go. The skin will be available to you in the in-game Hero Gallery. That’s all you have to do!
Here is a full list of all the streamers taking part in the promotion. Make sure to only subscribe when they are playing in the Overwatch category.
