Once I had completed the coloring, I returned the image to my Silhouette and cut the rectangle out and adhered it to the front of a cardbase. I cut the word hello out of purple cardstock and stacked two die cuts together before adding it to the front of my card.
We look forward to seeing your family themed projects over in our challenge at Cute 'N Crafty. You have a month to enter.

Home / Nutrition / Gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls
Malnutrition, much like poverty, is sexist. In virtually every country of the world, gender inequities and cultural norms hold women and girls back and render many unable to fulfil their rightful role as decision-makers – over their own minds and bodies, in their households, at work, and in their communities. Healthy women and girls, however, are the cornerstone of healthy societies. Provide girls and women access to good nutrition throughout their lives and they will deliver a healthier and wealthier world.
All SUN Movement actors need to reorient their work, to translate their gender equality and empowerment commitments into action and results at the country level. Why? Because our goal is a world free from malnutrition and transforming gender inequalities and power structures is critical to achieving this goal!
Marked each year on 8 March, International Women’s Day gives us the opportunity to celebrate the she-roes (but also heroes) of the SUN Movement and their many achievements. This year, we have put “Women in leadership: Achieving an equal future in a COVID-19 world” in the spotlight, to highlight the tremendous efforts by women and girls across the SUN Movement’s 62 member States.
• Visit the SUN #IWD2021 site – here
For SUN, however, it is not just about celebrating women and strides towards gender equality on International Women’s Day. In 2021, we rose to the group of highest performers in the Global Health 50/50 index – Learn More
In their words: Our Lead Group members commit to scale up gender equality!

Nutrition International
Through the TAN project, funded with UK aid from the UK government, Nutrition International’s NTEAM provides timely, coordinated and expert support to build the capacity of countries to scale up nutrition for the benefit of at-risk populations, such as women, adolescent girls and children under five. As part of TAN, Nutrition International provides 20 governments and the SUN Movement Secretariat with short- and long-term expert advice on good practices for scaling up their nutrition programmes.
Deliver for Good: Inspiring SDG Action for Girls and Women
Deliver for Good is a global campaign that applies a gender lens to the Sustainable Development Goals and promotes 12 critical investments in girls and women to power progress for all.
Every Woman Every Child Every Adolescent
Every Woman Every Child provides an opportunity to improve the health of women, children and adolescents everywhere, and in so doing, to improve the lives of all people.
My wish is that each decision-maker realises that equality for women and girls – all over the world – is key for the future and will lead from where s/he is! I will be a champion for this, working with partnerships like the Deliver for Good campaign to make it happen – Gerda Verburg, Assistant UN Secretary-General and SUN Movement Coordinator
