MFX manufactures customized hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, injection, optical and power umbilicals able to perform activities in wells located in water depths up to 3,000 meters. Over 1,500 km of umbilicals have already been produced by MFX.
MFX´s list of completed projects is comprised of umbilicals with different structure/cross-sections configurations to suit a wide range of applications. With continuous lengths exceeding 10 km and with diameters ranging from 3" to 10", the umbilicals can be composed by hydraulic hoses, chemical injection hoses, and electric and optical cables, with or without steel armor, or special steel tubes combined with electrical cables.
In addition to umbilicals, MFX develops, designs, manufactures, assembles, and installs all the accessories necessary to the umbilical installation and use.

Thermoplastic made and reinforced with synthetic aramid fibers, the hoses have weight, diameter, flexibility, pressure and temperature range characteristics of standard ISO / API and SAE series R8, R9, R10, R11 and Sewer Lines. MFX´s thermoplastic hoses have a high level of durability and warranty.
A highlight in MFX products portfolio is the HCR Special Hoses line (High Collapse Resistance). These hoses are built with a metalic carcass made out of stainless steel or other alloys and are capable to operate in water depths up to 3,000 meters.
The MFX portfolio also includes HTR (High Temperature Resistance) hoses. These hoses have their liner in fluoropolymer (PVDF) which increases the product's ability to work under higher temperatures environment.
Useful for medium and high pressure applications, extremely flexible, abrasion resistant and having outstanding chemical resistance, MFX hoses can be used with a wide variety of hydraulic and chemicals fluids at different temperatures in various applications such as: oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, industrial, irrigation, mining, chemical, petrochemical, sanitation, and agriculture.
Up to now, MFX has already produced over 20 million meters of hoses. MFX is able to produce thermoplastic hoses in compliance with all technical and international quality standards (API, SAE, ISO or as per customer specific requirement).
