Do you need relaxing time for yourself? Then how about a soothing massage? The Lilburn, Sandy Springs, and Raleigh campuses have massage clinics in which students in the Massage Therapy programs, under the supervision of a licensed massage therapist, perform massages for the general public. This is a great way to save money and get a great massage, at the same time you are assisting our college students gain valuable hands-on experience. It’s tough sometimes to carve out an hour for a massage, but if you have never had a 90-minute or 2-hour massage, you should definitely give it a shot. Although they are still in the process of completing their massage courses, college students providing the massages in our clinics have completed their course work in musculoskeletal anatomy & physiology and Swedish/Deep Tissue massage. While honing their massage skills in the clinic, college students are studying neuromuscular therapy, advanced topics in anatomy, physiology, and pathology, and other techniques in massage. The Student Massage Clinic at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts is an integral part of our Massage Therapy diploma programs. When you book an appointment with a student practitioner, you can expect a professional experience that offers a minimum of Swedish-style massage. Some students incorporate additional modalities such as energy work, myofascial release, or other Eastern techniques. We also staff our Clinic with fully licensed massage therapists, so please call to secure a date and time with the type of practitioner who best suits your wants or needs. Here at SWIHA, we value that we offer massage services to the community at affordable prices. Please allow us to serve you—if a massage sounds great, then you probably need to book one!
Experience and enjoy a professional bodywork session with one of our wonderful and talented licensed therapists. Note: Premium Therapy Upgrade for deep tissue of $15 with a Licensed Therapist in addition to the normal fee.
Our student therapists practice a wide variety of different massage, energetic, and spa modalities.
You will assist them in completing their internships while indulging yourself at the same time.
Packages can be upgraded to Licensed Therapists. Restrictions may apply
