Over the course of the tournament, participating teams representing 17 universities from around the Mandalay region competed in exciting matches of Dota 2, a popular multiplayer online battle arena MOBA game among Myanmar youth. Hundreds of local gaming enthusiasts turned up to cheer on the teams at the event, with fun activities including dance performances, quizzes and a special friendly match between Team Fairies, a competitive all-female Dota 2 team from Yangon, and selected audience members livening up the proceedings.
