Alex TrubachevIceclimbing is one of the three main topics of our project, an integral part of one whole - mountaineering.
In the concept of the MCS AlexClimb School, mountaineering is not a sport or entertainment. This is a culture of interaction with the mountains, the implementation of successful and safe ascents to mountain peaks, the preservation of the fragile ecosystem of the mountains and the ability to live in harmony with this amazing world of purity and grandeur.
The MCS AlexClimb Iceclimbing School section contains our offers for iceclimbing education and training. In addition, here you can find direct links to reference materials on iceclimbing, gear reviews, text and video manuals.
Unfortunately, iceclimbing programs are very sensitive to the availability and quality of the accompanying infrastructure, so it is not possible to conduct iceclimbing courses “just anywhere.” For this reason, we do not (yet) consider using some very attractive mountain areas for iceclimbing.

Due to the impossibility of creating a schedule for outdoor iceclimbing training (due to seasonal restrictions, unstable weather, traffic, etc.), we decided to limit our Iceclimbing School classes to a theoretical block, which is held at the rockclimbing gym.

MCS AlexClimb Iceclimbing courses are conducted in compliance with all international safety standards, using the most modern certified climbing gear and safety equipment.
You must not forget that when practicing iceclimbing, a high proportion of uncontrollable risk associated with the peculiarities of the ice relief is inevitable. Ice structures can chip, break off and even collapse causing harm to your health.
