26 oz - 740 g Solo Backpacking Tent
"Have spent over 200 nights since first buying my Lunar Solo back in 2016. It has seen conditions to -20°C up to +38°C. Above the Arctic Circle into the deserts of Israel. Down from the Dead Sea up to the open Tundra. A great shelter for great adventures." - Andrei
Save money with the award-winning Lunar Solo tent – and buy more of the ultralight gear on your list.
With the Lunar Solo tent, sacrifice nothing but extra weight – ultralight, sturdy, weather-tight*, and comfortable. The unique hexagonal design and steep, sloping sides help deflect high winds and shed snow, keeping you safe from the elements. The spacious 26 sq. ft. living space and extra 8.5 sq. ft. vestibule means there’s plenty of room for you AND your gear (or your favorite 4-legged friend).
*To completely repel water, shelters need to have sealer applied to the seams before use.
*Shelters including a seam sealing service may not ship immediately.
✓ Made with 100% Silicone-coated Polyester material to reduce fabric stretch and pack volume.
✓ 20D canopy and 40D floor keeps the Lunar Solo light but rugged.
✓ 6-in deep bathtub floor helps prevent splash back.
✓ 6-in mesh lining above the bathtub floor increases ventilation and keeps you further from the canopy walls, so you stay nice and dry.
✓ 26 sq. ft. of living space with a peak height of 49 inches – plenty of room for all kinds of seated tasks. Canopy creates an 8.5sq. ft. vestibule for added protection during storms.
✓ Easily pitched with one adjustable trekking pole to 49 inch peak*.

• Full Vestibule provides protection while still maintaining good ventilation when closed. Fully open, the vestibule maximizes ventilation and view. • High Vent removes excess moisture build up. • Zipper Vestibule Closure makes opening and closing the vestibule a snap. • Easy Tensioning Adjustment makes keeping the tent taut easy to accomplish from the warmth of your sleeping bag. (Re-tension straps have been added to all tie out points.) • Floating Canopy allows the canopy to be set to different heights. • Floating Floor reduces floor stress and helps to minimize punctures from sharp objects. • Optimized Sleeping Area is oriented to maximize usable space, ventilation, and view. A peak height of 49 inches gives you plenty of headroom.
• Center Pole Support significantly improves the ability of the tent to handle wind and snow loads. • Single Hiking Pole Support reduces the amount of gear need. • Internal Gear Area keeps your gear easily accessible. • Oversized Screen Door allows easy entrance and exit while keeping the front pole out of your way. • Ultralight Waterproof Canopy is made from high strength 20 denier Silicone Polyester. • Handy Mesh Cargo Pocket to keep all your essentials close at hand. • Extremely Easy Setup in less than two minutes under any conditions.

First off, I'd like to say that Ben is awesome! He was extremely friendly and helped me solve a problem I had with my online order. When my tent arrived, I set it up. It took me 3 times before I felt like I mastered it but since then it is a breeze to set up. I recently took it on an AT section hike. I love the space inside for all my gear. I downsized from a 2 person REI tent. The weight is great too. Overall it is a very well designed tent from a company that is experienced with the outdoors. I am so happy with my purchase and am looking forward to using it on my next adventure.
There are some minuscule flaws I inherited with this tent. I paid for factory seam sealed service, but there was an area that wasn't covered - it's not a big deal, but just check before you run into the field with it obviously. Ben was kind enough to send some sealant my way to fix that. Thank you Ben!
I think quality control could be improved a wee bit for this price point. The stitching is okay - there are some minor stitch punctures that are exposed on the zipper. I don't see this being a complete issue now, but could expedite unnecessary wear with heavier use. The fabric is super nice and seems consistent throughout the lamination.
I haven't had the chance to really use it much, but would consider this a decent starter tent. Thank you for your customer support!
Set up is so easy quality is superb the price is right space is generous and one pile is perfect. Purchased with the carbon five section pole for bikepacking. I could not be happier with this tent checks all my boxes and didn't run me 600 to 700 bucks.
Switching it up after many years of hammock and tarp backpacking. I've found that all day in the saddle I am looking for more sleep positions.
Not a bad tent. Nice and light and compact. Like that it is lightweight and has no poles.
I recently took it to the High Sierras for 8 nights. My issue is that it is hard to pitch correctly. Even after 8 nights, I found myself adjusting the stake placement multiple times. It’s almost like they should give you a template or something.
The key is to have good ventilation all the way around. If it’s uneven, they tell you to move some of the stakes to pivot it forward. You will usually have to do this, often more than once. Even after this, you may still find the bathtub floor sagging. It’s just a little to hard for even an intelligent person to get right.
By the way, there was zero rain in the Sierras, so I still don’t know if it’s truly weatherproof. With that open hood and no way to seal it, I’m worried it will not be weathertight in a big storm.
I have been using this tent since late spring. Thought it was time for a review. This tent sets up ultrafast and has plenty of room inside. I was even able to do all my yoga stretches inside during damp weather. It had plenty of room, between the large inside ,and the large vestibule. It handled the wind and rain with no problem. The only issue I've had is condensation when I wake up in the morning. I guess that is to be expected with a single wall tent. I just keep a micro fiber rag inside with me.I do recommend practicing pitching it in your back yard before taking it on a trip. It took me 5 times to get it down. This tent was great on my last trip. It was starting to rain. I was able to stake down the 4 corners, throw my pack inside, stake down the front guy line, then the back, then jumped inside. Only took a couple of minutes. Amazing how fast you can move when you're motivated. You would be hard pressed to find at tent this light, with this much room, and of this quality anywhere else.

I don't believe in things from the past
We're together alone against the world

Everything pass by and everything comes back
We're together alone against the world
