One of the great strengths of the Little Latin Readers program is that it combines the best features that are most effective in learning a language: gentle immersion at a gradual pace which will give students an important sense of achievement and success since they will be reading Latin sentences and paragraphs in story context from the beginning. This is augmented by workbooks with answer keys that offer thorough explanations and incremental exercises which facilitate easy progress at any age. It is for this reason that we recommend that all learners at any age begin with Liber Primus, Puella Romana.
Premium Editions of Liber Primus, Liber Secundus, and Liber Tertius take the place of Classic Primers A, B, and C respectively. Complete sets of Levels 1-4 continue to be available.
The companion audio for all levels you have purchased in the past can be downloaded from the Audio Online areas, or continue to listen anytime in your Audio Online courses area.
Little Latin Readers is an educational institution dedicated to helping Catholic students increase test scores and strengthen Catholic identity through the study of Latin.

Caesar, postquam per Vbios exploratores comperit Suebos sese in silvas recepisse, inopiam frumenti veritus, quod, ut supra demonstravimus, minime omnes Germani agriculturae student, constituit non progredi longius; sed, ne omnino metum reditus sui barbaris tolleret atque ut eorum auxilia tardaret, reducto exercitu partem ultimam pontis, quae ripas Vbiorum contingebat, in longitudinem pedum ducentorum rescindit atque in extremo ponte turrim tabulatorum quattuor constituit praesidiumque cohortium duodecim pontis tuendi causa ponit magnisque eum locum munitionibus firmat.

In assessing the environmental impact of any project, concern is usually shown for its effects on soil, water and air, yet few careful studies are made of its impact on biodiversity, as if the loss of species or animals and plant groups were of little importance.

You know it from your own dealings with sounds, and especially with souls in whom sentiment predominates; you know it also from your reading of ascetical books - books for which the Modernists have but little esteem, but which testify to a science and a solidity very different from theirs, and to a refinement and subtlety of observation of which the Modernists give no evidence.

Before turning our attention to these timely questions, we must listen a little more closely to the Bible's testimony on hope.

That this was the only time to treat for peace; when each had confidence in his own strength, and both seemed on an equal footing. Since, if fortune showed ever so little favor to either, he who thought himself superior, would not submit to terms of accommodation; nor would be content with an equal division, when he might expect to obtain the whole.

Having, therefore, called a council of war a little before evening, he exhorted his soldiers to execute with diligence and energy such commands as he should give; he assigns the ships which he had brought from Melodunum to Roman knights, one to each, and orders them to fall down the river silently for four miles, at the end of the fourth watch, and there wait for him.

Sub vesperum consilio convocato cohortatus ut ea quae imperasset diligenter industrieque administrarent, naves, quas Metiosedo deduxerat, singulas equitibus Romanis attribuit, et prima confecta vigilia quattuor milia passuum secundo flumine silentio progredi ibique se exspectari iubet.

The Righteous Brothers - Little Latin Lupe Lu [MP4]

The Righteous Brothers:
The Righteous Brothers were the musical duo of Bobby Hatfield and Bill Medley. They began performing together in 1962 in the Los Angeles area as part of a five-member group called The Paramours, but adopted the name The Righteous Brothers when they embarked on their recording career as a duo. They recorded from 1963 through 1975 and continued to perform until Hatfield's death in 2003. Their emotive vocal style is sometimes dubbed "blue-eyed soul".
Hatfield and Medley have a contrasting vocal range that helped them create a distinctive sound as a duet, but also strong vocal talent individually that allowed them to perform as soloists. Medley sang the low parts with his bass-baritone voice, with Hatfield taking the higher register vocals with his countertenor voice.
Little Latin Lupe Lu:
"Little Latin Lupe Lu" was written by Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers, who had a chart record with the song in 1963 reaching #47 on the Cashbox music chart and #49 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Original version:
Reminiscing about the song, Medley stated that in high school he dated a Lupe Laguna. The Righteous Brothers original recording made it onto WLS charts for one week, May 31, 1963, at #32.
