Jokari brings to you a range of tools that will make working with wires way easier than it is at present. It is a technology for Cable Stripping and Dismantling where these wire strippers ease out on the hazards like cutting, twisting, stripping and crimping. The main application of a cable knife is stripping all standard round cables. The tool is systematically made and the blade is set such that it automatically repositions itself from cutting around, to cut along the sheath/wire for a smooth cable stripping. All the cable knives are made of special Titanium-Nitride coating (TiN) which upgrades the blade by giving it a longer life, faster-cutting speed, and less erosion.
The Cable strippers in our range are very comfortable and effective to use and thus, they are a necessity on every building site. よい子のでんきやさんはマネしちゃダメよ
デンサンのF＆IVストリッパーがいつの間にか廃番に（泣）代わりになる絶縁ストリッパーがないかと探していたらJOKARIを見つけた。なんやこれそっくりやんか。もしかしてOEMか？ と期待したものの海外製なのでAWG表示とかわかりづらい。同じものがあるわけないかと諦めていたのだが、安売りしてたこいつを手に入れてみた。画像からはわからなかったが、閉じた状態でも刃と刃の間に隙間がある。しかし、それが逆に幸いしてFケーブルが綺麗に剥ける（うはは）IVもたまに刃が薄く導体を削るが、刃が入ることはない。ちょっと無理すれば２本いや３本同時に剥ける（デンサンのは無理があったよね）皮をひっかける溝の部分が削れてくれば、また使いづらくなるのだろうけど、デンサンのは特に真ん中が削れるので、IVは斜めに引っ掛けて剥くように手間をかけてた。調子こいて5.5スケとか剥くのはやめようっと。 …もしかして、同じメーカーのSensor miniって、刃のかたちもそっくりだし、ひょっとしたらひょっとして…でも7000円は試すには痛いよなぁ。 まぁ、でもこの前買った普通のFストリッパー（といってもダイヤル式だけど）が外れ気味なのでヤケ気味で買ったものがアタリだったのは嬉しかった。これで当面代替品にも困らないだろうし。デンサンのも軽いのはいいんだけど、高いのと使い勝手がよろしくないので人には勧められなかったのよね。でも、ポケットにも入れられるし、どっかに引っ掛けることもないから、やっぱり気楽。 それにダウンライトとかボックス開口の穴の中とかにも突っ込めるしね。 おススメはしませんよ。特に通常価格では。

The Jokari FKZ Flat Wire Automatic Stripper is an ergonomic, automatic wire stripper which is suitable for PVC-insulated flat cables with widths of up 12mm and diameters from 0.75 to 2.5mm², such as twin and earth. No diameter adjustments are required. The FKZ has an unlimited stripping range, and has specially hardened, exchangeable blades. It features a built-in wire bending hole to provide an effective termination for conductors up to 2.5 mm². Optical length scale: 15, 18, 20mm. TÜV / GS-approved.

Great for 8 gauge wire any larger not so good

this thing cut through the natural rubber coating on some 2/0 in one motion and removed the schmuck with another. super time saver and very accurate.
This strips pretty much anywhere you need it too I have even used it on 500 mcm and works great
I had such high hopes. Good review by Will Prowse and other Amazon users. What a disappointment. I've gone back to using a utility knife and have much more reliable, predicable, accurate results. This thing worked like magic about 20% of the time, and that's probably generous. I have done 30-40 connections on 6AWG marine grade battery cable and only a few attempts were flawless on the circular cut. I NEVER got it to cut axially with any success (the blade spins for this purpose). 100% failure rate. I consider myself a decent expert with tools and equipment, but I have yet to figure out the trick to make this thing work reliably. Either it didn't cut at all, or cut shallow, or cut full depth but in a spiral (see picture). I went back and watched (fairly useless) video twice; same results. My cable is top shelf marine grade wire, so maybe it's just too tough for this gadget. I haven't tried it on PVC jacketing, maybe it works better there. Based on my experience, sadly, 2 stars. Really should be 1. But I give it a bonus one for being made in Germany.

good results...about 20% of the time...not impressed

It seems like a nice tool, and it does cut thru the welding wire insulation without damaging the copper strands, but it is random on where it cuts. I am using this for copper wire lugs and ferrules and the length of the copper exposed varies from the mark on the wire. It seems that the blade has room to move a 1/16 inch or so in either direction up or down the wire, so getting the correct amount if insulation removed is a pain.
So much easier and more dependable than the old manual strippers or utility knife, especially on big battery cables.
