The major problem with this documentary is that it does not address it's title Incest. There it's a lot of aquiantence rape of children, but to advocate "Family Reunification" as an option when the predatory is a parent or care giver is utterly destructive to the child. If you want real information regarding incest, predatory pedophics and how to address this problem- check out the writings of Andrew Vachss, and join P.R.O.T.E.C.T.- a lobbying group soley devoted to the rights and advocacy of children. There is not treatment for predatory pedophiles, they will offend again. They look for "Ready Made Families" that have children with-in their age specific preference, or they will "Grow their Own", supplying themselves with children. There is a difference between a pedophile (one who has a sexual attraction to children) and a predatory pedophile- that difference has no other name then evil.

This is a great documentary. How do we take care of this issue is at hand. Many have made the aws that sex offender cannot ive within so many feet of schools day care centers and children, which serves no use/ This pushes them to areas in which it is harder to deal with the offender. The majority of sex offenders happens in the home. The system is set up that is someone reports they need help they are arrested first. This does not make it easier for those that want help. I am not saying there should not be sanctions, but we need to do it in a better way yo treat and give counseling. For those to recognize the triggers that make them want to do this.

I think this is outdated. More about pedophilia which don't get me wrong is the worst to me. But so is INCEST!

Interesting and inherently disturbing. But, it was well presented. For those who are researching this subject for any reason, this is probably worth a rental.

Very to the point and open about the behaviors of sex offenders. Good insight into the minds of victims and wives as well.

Good documentary on the CRIME of incest/rape within families and trusted friends. An important, hard to watch documentary.

Sad commentary on a too common problem.
