The UK Parent and Family Association, part of the Office for Student Success , invites our undergraduate students and their guests to Family Weekend, September 23-25, 2022. Family Weekend is a great time to enjoy campus life with your Wildcat, learn about amazing programs and traditions, and make special memories! The Parent and Family Association and other campus partners host three days of events for students and their guests during Family Weekend, including a welcome reception, tent party, A Taste of the Kentucky Doughnut Trail, and more! Your family will not want to miss out on this incredible UK tradition!
Thank you to those of you who completed the 2021 Family Weekend survey. We read through your feedback and are excited to integrate many of your ideas into plans for Family Weekend 2022. Your feedback indicated a desire for an easier registration and check-in process and more programming options throughout the weekend. With that input in mind, as well as feedback from the UK Parent Advisory Council and benchmarking information from other SEC schools, the Parent and Family Association has decided to make a few changes to our registration pricing and check-in process in 2022.
We have a lot going on during Family Weekend for you to experience! The complete Family Weekend schedule is available on our events page .
The Parent and Family Association will host a number of events, including these signature Family Weekend events:
Parking: Cornerstone Parking Garage on S. Limestone St. will be free after 4 p.m. and most Employee (E) lots will be open after 5 p.m.
(8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) Tour the University of Kentucky.

(10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) Swim in the Lancaster Aquatic Center during Open Swim .
(2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) Check in for Family Weekend in the Gatton Student Center.
Registered families should check in for Family Weekend in the Gatton Student Center to receive a Family Weekend packet and event entry wristbands. Early check-in is available on Wednesday, September 21, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and Thursday, September 22, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
(3:00 p.m.) Attend the Blue & White Swim/Dive Meet in Lancaster Aquatic Center.
(5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Participate in the Gatton Student Center Scavenger Hunt .
(6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) Drop off donations for the Big Blue Pantry in the Gatton Student Center.
(6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) Meet other UK families, faculty, and staff at the Family Weekend Welcome Reception in the Gatton Student Center.
(7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Visit a Circus Club Demonstration in Barker Hall.
(8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) Enjoy ThinkFast Trivia in the Gatton Student Center Ballrooms BC.
(8 p.m. - 10 p.m.) Explore the stars in the MacAdam Student Observatory .
(9:00 p.m.) Watch the free Movie on Main: Lightyear .
Parking: We recommend parking early and once in one of these locations to be within walking distance to the Family Weekend Tent Party.

(9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) Come out to the Family Weekend Tent Party: Bluegrass Biscuit Bash on the South Lawn behind The 90 and University Flats.
Wristbands required. Gluten free options available.
(TBD) Cheer on the Cats at the UK vs. N. Illinois Football Game at Kroger Field.
Football tickets required. The k ick-off time is typically determined 7-10 days before the game.
(2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Challenge your family to Cats Got Game! in the Cornerstone Esports Center.
(4:00 p.m.) Cheer on the Cats at the UK Volleyball vs. LSU in Memorial Coliseum.
(7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) Enjoy dinner with your student.

(1:00 p.m.) Cheer on the Cat at UK Women’s Soccer vs. UT Knoxville at The Bell Soccer Complex.
Registration for Family Weekend will be easier than ever and will be open July 5 – September 6, 2022. Instead of having to pick and choose which events your family would like to pay to attend, this year current University of Kentucky students and guests (ages 3+) can register for $55 per person to attend all Family Weekend events hosted by the Parent and Family Association. Please note that UK students planning to attend Family Weekend must be registered and pay the $55 fee.
Registration for Family Weekend will include:
Entry to all signature events (Family Weekend Welcome Reception, Family Weekend Tent Party, A Taste of the Kentucky Doughnut Trail)
Meals at all signature events (3 meals total)
Entry to many other Family Weekend events throughout the weekend (food may be included)
Exclusive 2022 Family Weekend t-shirt that will be distributed only at the Family Weekend Tent Party
Late registration will be available September 7 – 23 until 4 p.m. ET for $65 per person (age 3+).

Family Weekend registration now open! Please note that UK students must be registered for Family Weekend to attend.
Late registration will be available beginning September 7 through 4 p.m. on September 23, for $65 per person.
Family Weekend registrants will have the opportunity to purchase football tickets for the UK vs. N. Illinois football game using a special link to a Family Weekend football ticketing website. You will receive the link to purchase Family Weekend football tickets in a confirmation email after you have registered for Family Weekend . If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the Parent and Family Association team at parents@uky.edu or give us a call at 859-257-2752.
Please note that current UK students who would like to sit with their guests will need to purchase a discounted student ticket seated with their party, even if your student has purchased a student season pass.
If your family is not planning to register for Family Weekend but would like to attend the football game, you can purchase single-game football tickets beginning July 11 on Ticketmaster.com . There are no refunds or exchanges on football ticket purchases.

Family Weekend football tickets available beginning July 11!
Family Weekend registrants will receive a link to purchase tickets in their confirmation email.
Non-registrants can purchase single-game tickets through Ticketmaster.com.
All registrants must check in for Family Weekend to receive important schedule information, event entry wristbands, and other swag items. If you do not think you will arrive to campus in time for check-in, send your student by to pick up your Family Weekend Check-in packet during one of the three check-in dates and times. Early check-in will be offered on Wednesday and Thursday prior to Family Weekend to allow for shorter lines.
Registrants must wear Family Weekend event wristbands for entry to all Parent and Family Association-hosted events. T-shirts will not be given out during check-in. They will be available only during the Family Weekend Tent Party.

The Wimbledon seeds were announced Tuesday, and Iga Swiatek heads the top of the list. Anett Kontaveit and Ons Jabeur are the second and third seeds, respectively.
World No.1 Iga Swiatek leads the Top 32 seeds at Wimbledon , which begins Monday, June 27. She is currently riding a 35-match win streak and is set to become the youngest top seed at Wimbledon in more than a decade. Spain's Sara Sorribes Tormo, ranked No.40, is the last seeded player at No.32.
The Wimbledon draw ceremony will be conducted on Friday, June 24.

The 21-year-old from Poland will be the youngest top seed at Wimbledon since Caroline Wozniacki in 2011.
