The painful procedure left his head soaked with blood.
Rodrigo Alves — a.k.a. The "Human Ken Doll" — has just undergone his 59th cosmetic surgery and it might have been one of his most painful yet. According to a Daily Mail exclusive , Alves, 34, underwent a $25,000 hair transplant on Friday in Los Angeles. The procedure, which was done by Dr. John Kahen, took eight hours to complete and left Alves' head soaked with blood.
"The aim for now is to make me look younger," Alves told the Daily Mail after the surgery. "I don't think that I look like a masculine guy, and once my new hair grows I will be more delicate looking." Here's what Alves looked like before his most recent surgery:
Following a hair transplant in 2015, Alves has since had 3,000 hair follicles inserted into his scalp. As someone who consistently bleaches his hair, Alves' hairline has receded over the years as a result of so much dye. "There is a saying which states that blondes have more fun," Alves told the Daily Mail . "Since going blonde I have got lots of attention from guys and girls, but after bleaching my hair I started to lose it from my hairline ... I guess that it happens with most people when they bleach their hair but being myself, I always try to find a quick fix."
Here's what Alves looks like now after his "quick fix" surgery.

In total, Alves has had nearly 60 cosmetic procedures, including stem cell injections into his face and hair, a "spider web butt lift," and nose surgery to repair his breathing after eight nose jobs . These surgeries have cost Alves over $500,000, which he is able to afford thanks to an inheritance left to him by his grandparents.
Known for his beauty and fashion choices, the Brazilian-born British TV personality currently lives in London and has been featured in Vogue and GQ for his unique fashion sense, according to The Sun . Alves, who used to be a flight attendant, now works on television, appearing in numerous television shows, including an episode of Botched, according to his website .
In the past, Alves has compared having surgeries to the domino effect of dying your hair, in that once he starts, he doesn't feel like he can stop. In 2015, Alves was diagnosed with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), which is a mental disorder in which a person becomes obsessed with "flaws" perceived in his or her appearance. According to the Mayo Clinic , attempting to fix one's perceived "flaws" through cosmetic surgery is a symptom of BDD.
But Alves' 59th cosmetic surgery might be his last. "The kind of changes I'll be undergoing from now on won't be plastic surgery as such, but rather procedures that focus on my bones and structure," he told the Daily Mail . "I have always done what makes me happy and I would never follow a beauty trend set by society. I am unique and I will remain this way for as long as I live."
Alves also explained to the Daily Mail that he put on some weight recently. "I've had 13 liposuctions to reform my body including a fake six pack, but due to my lifestyle of traveling and partying too much, I have gained two stone (28 pounds)."
As a result, Alves plans to have six ribs removed in an attempt to make him look slimmer. "I also had a consultation to remove six of my ribs, which shall be happening soon," he said. "I love to express myself with tailored outfits and I would like to have more of a classic figure."

See What “Human Ken Doll” Justin Jedlica Looked Like Before Plastic Surgery!

Human Ken Doll Justin Jedlica has been made famous for dropping half a million dollars on nearly 500 different cosmetic procedures. After appearing on E!’s hit plastic surgery show Botched , the 36-year-old skyrocketed to fame and began to consult on other people’s surgeries.
Most recently, the human doll helped to create the world’s first ever thigh implant targeted at women who want thicker legs.
“My client travelled for the procedure from out of the country and was very physically fit, but her body-type was fairly petite for a bodybuilder and she was having a hard time bulking-up,” Justin told Daily Mail just a few weeks ago. “She was struggling to put on the mass that she would turn into muscle, which I understand as I have a high metabolism and am very lean, so I designed an specialized implant to give her massive quads. She expressed she wanted to go extremely large, the leg equivalent of taking someone from an A-cup to a D-cup.”
Before experimenting on other people, though, Justin has had tons of practice altering his own body.
“I’ve had nearly every part of my body worked on,” Justin said . “I have a reputation of being one of the most extreme plastic surgery addicts in the world and I love continuing to push the limits.”
Though Justin’s claim to fame is his metamorphosis into “human doll,” in an interview with In Style he revealed that much of his passion around plastic surgery comes from the creative outlet it offers him.
“At first, I thought the title [‘Human Ken’] was a little bit silly and kind of dumbed down what I did with plastic surgery because everything I did required a lot of time and effort and I view what I do almost as art,” he said. “I do it for the purpose of being creative and I like that I can customize myself and set myself apart as an individual. That’s what I think is cool about it—the idea of being a nonconformist, and you’re not doing what everyone else is telling you.”

JESSICA Alves made a name of herself after spending thousands of pounds on plastic surgery to look like a Ken doll.
Jessica, formally known as Rodrigo, and has altered her appearance to look like a Barbie doll.
Alves is a Brazilian-British television personality.
Jessica Alves was born Rodrigo Alves in Brazil on 30, July 1983 - making her 36-years-old.
Alves grew up in Brazil and moved to London when she was 19, where she studied at the London School of Economics.
Before becoming a TV personality, Alves worked as an air steward.
When she was young, her grandfather bought her Barbie dolls and allowed her to dress however she wanted. This was where Alves' obsession with dolls came from.
On January 4, 2020, Alves came out as transgender.
On July 13, 2020, Alves appeared on This Morning to announce that she had changed her name from Rodrigo to Jessica.
Alves had her first nose job at 19 and has never looked back, going on to have dozens more procedures.
She admitted he looked very different as a teenager and felt the need to have work to achieve the "perfect" male figure and chiselled face.
Older photos of Rodrigo show a much fuller faced and less lean physique – all of which have now been “improved” upon by Rodrigo.
He said: "Male perfection is to me having symmetry. So a chiselled face, broad shoulders, a lean figure, a prominent jawline, defined abs and a chest in proportion.
"I have had a hair implant, a brow lift, eye lifts, my ears pinned back, cheeks redesigned, my jawline shaped.
"I’ve had cheek implants twice, the sides of my lips cut out in order to give me a bigger wider smile.
"I have had fillers injected into my shoulders, biceps, triceps, my abs – my six pack is purely plastic surgery.
"I have the most beautiful six pack."
Jessica first decided to go under the knife in 2004 after a childhood of struggling with her self-image.
At the start of 2019, Jessica Alves realised that she was transgender and was going under further procedures to transform herself into Barbie.
Jessica has dropped £100,000 on her transition to a female body.
Jessica told The Sun: "I still have more surgery booked in but I have to recover and put on weight as they need more fat to remove and put in my hips.
“I will have bum implants and another nose job as well as more hair extensions to make my hair blonder and longer, like Barbie’s.
“I still haven't had genital surgery either."
It does not appear that Jessica is done with plastic surgery just yet.
