When 19-year-old Beth Baston was accidentally sent a photo of the boy she was seeing in bed with another girl, she understandably felt pretty hurt.
The photo had been sent via Snapchat by the boy’s friend who had quite clearly forgotten that he had Beth on there as a contact.
As their relationship was fairly new, Beth didn’t stay upset for too long – and once she’d come around, she decided to take her revenge with the help of her friend Alicia Carley.
Beth decided that in order to get back at the boy she would make it look as though she too was with someone else for a photo that would be sent over Snapchat.
To do this, Alicia stuffed socks down a pair of boxers to make it look like she had a penis.
Beth told Metro.co.uk: ‘It was my idea to take a picture making it look like I’m with a boy, and my friend decided to go extra by making a dick out of socks and putting on some boxers.
‘We had such a laugh taking the pictures trying to get the right angle where the ‘dick’ looked bigger’.
Unsurprisingly, the boy Beth had been seeing didn’t find the image too amusing – in fact, since Beth sent it to him she hasn’t heard a peep.
But that didn’t stop Beth from gushing about her genius idea . She later took to Twitter to show off the incredibly well-executed plan.

Beth said that after posting the tweet, her phone went ‘crazy’ and the ‘notifications wouldn’t stop’.
She said: ‘It’s a massive shock! When we were taking the picture we were crying with laughter so we decided to put it on twitter as well.
‘There’s been so much love from girls and a few boys have found it hilarious as well! But with everything that goes viral there’s some hate as well’.
‘A lot of people are so quick to judge. No one was harmed or upset by it at all, some people have taken it way too seriously but do not know the situation or what happened before the snap!
‘But the amount of love and inspiration from girls is amazing! We are being called “genius” for such a simple idea!’
Beth believes that Alicia really proved how far she’d go to keep her best friend happy – and after seeing that level of loyalty, Beth says she’d be more than happy to return the favour in the future.

She said: ‘If any of my friends tell me they are having boy problems and need my help I would do it in a heartbeat and I know my friends would do it too.
‘I wouldn’t suggest doing this if you actually have a boyfriend and you’re serious because I think that’s too far!’
We’d have to agree with Beth there – sending a fake dick pic to your boyfriend probably isn’t a good idea.
