This Pickguard fits USA Fender Tele Esquire Guitars,but not other types of Teles.If you have other types of Teles,you may need to make a little modification to let it fit Pickguard is made of plastic acrylic, not Metal,it has plastic films which should be peeled off after installing Thickness is about 1.6mm (+/- 0.2mm error, because different bulks materials might be varied a little different thickness) Due to the wide variety of pickguards in the market,please be sure to verify the dimensions carefully before you order the item Free pickguard mounting screws are included

I put this on a parts build Esquire with a surf green Tele body, and it looks great. Maybe just a little bit of the MoP pattern is a tiny bit goofy looking, but the thing fit really well. I mostly just prefer kind of plain looking Teles and Esquires that have either black or white bodies, with white or black pickguards. I wanted something with just a bit more wow factor this time around, and have found that you can't go wrong with a nice white or black pearl pickguard.

I ignored advice to check the measurements on my G&L tele before purchase and had to spend some time with a Dremel tool and a drill to make it fit. (Drilled the pickguard, not the guitar). If you look close you can see a couple extra holes on the pickguard but not noticeable from a few feet away. I’ve gotten several compliments. The color goes well with the “blue granite” finish on the tele. Definite upgrade from the plain white pickguard that came with the guitar.

I'm a bit disappointed, Sure Tortise shell is illegal, but I wish it could be a higher quality print! Or some kind of luminescence to it? Fake is fake, I get that but maybe if it had that fake pearloid effect, it may look better? I'm sure as technology increases, they'll nail this 100%. I still like it, just wish it were more! When it's on the guitar I'm sure I'll like it much more! I'm sure it will show up well in pics to! But to the manufacturer, if you ever nail this 100% contact me, I WANT IT!!! INCLUDING ANY OTHER TORTISE SHELL COLOUR, YOU NAIL DOWN!!! Thank you!
