Despite its slender dimensions, the Aurora 700 3-way bass reflex speaker with its double bass configuration is capable of generating an explosive acoustic performance. The Aurora 700 features bass and midrange drivers with particularly lightweight HECO kraft paper cones, which have been optimized to ensure a distortion-free performance, a newly developed Fluktus tweeter, which features a 28 mm silk compound dome, and a computer-optimized multi-wave front panel, which ensures perfect dispersion properties. It utilizes all of these components to achieve a sound pressure rating of 92 dB, meaning that it doesn´t fall far short of the flagship model, namely the Aurora 1000. Modern wood decor is combined with an "ebony black" or "ivory white" high-quality silk matte lacquer finish that is applied to the top and front of the speaker. Together with its magnetically mounted front grille, the Aurora 700 creates a look that is very modern yet timelessly elegant at the same time.

The current speaker family from HECO is characterized by newly developed components and innovative technology and offers the discerning listener excellent sound properties, both in stereo mode with high-quality music reproduction and as a full-fledged surround setup and playback of film sound. In addition, Aurora not only inspires the ear, but also the eye. In a combination of modern wood decors and a high-quality satin finish, which adorns the baffle and the top of the speakers, the speakers look very modern and timelessly elegant at the same time. So that the transducers cut a good figure in any living environment, the finish is not only available in “ebony black” but also in “ivory white”. The acoustic fabric front cover is invisibly attached to the baffle with magnets so that the visual impression is absolutely not tarnished.
The new Fluktus tweeter is used in all components of the Aurora family, with the exception of the powerful active subwoofer. With a 28mm silk compound dome and the computer-optimized multi-wave front panel, the new HECO tweeter realizes perfect radiation behavior. This not only results in an absolutely balanced and harmonious integration of the center loudspeaker in surround mode, but also guarantees an overall coherent and closed-looking stage and a wide sweet spot in every situation. Thanks to ferrofluid cooling, the tweeter is also extremely resilient and equipped with a powerful ferrite double magnet system.
Tried and tested HECO kraft paper cones, which are specially optimized for low-distortion reproduction and are equipped with long-throw surrounds and resilient voice coils, serve as the material basis for the woofers in the entire series, which are doubled in the case of the floorstanding loudspeakers and have a generous dimension of 30cm in the subwoofer . The woofers and midrange drivers in their sturdy, coated steel baskets are provided with 8-way or 6-way screwed decorative rings. In addition, the housing is very stable and has been braced several times. The floorstanding loudspeakers come with solid base cross members and can be perfectly adjusted using the height-adjustable metal cone spikes.
