I downloaded HDTHighHeels from github as the HDT High Heels for SSE in the nexus has bad reviews. But my armours that require the high heels still does not work and their feet are submerged underground.
I did a fresh install a few months ago and couldn't get HDT High Heels to work at all. I switched to Racemenu High Heels, it works just fine.
Do yourself a favor and ditch hdt heels, get the mod which replaces with a blank plugin then use lazyheels and racemenu heels aka nioheels instead, accomplishes the same thing without the bugginess

i managed to get the bdo TAL pack for SE; it's not a good conversion (form 43), however i tried all the armors and they act fine, no crashes etc, so i can just resave the esp and call it a day. The only "problem" is that in the txt file is written that you need hdt-smp, hdt- high heel and hdt framework. Now, i have the smp but not the other, and on nexus high heels and hdt framework are broken. However, i just tried to give some female armors to a follower and they look just fine, the heels are working etc. I also read that there is a kind of high heels integrated in racemenu, maybe that's the reason.
I never messed up with female clothes, in fact i'm going to use this pack only for the male armor and the weapons, but i'm a little bit afraid to cause problems in the long run without the requirements.
So that's the question: i'm going to break my game if i just skip the high heel and the hdt framework?

HDT Framework I'm pretty sure is a LE only thing that's effectively the same as HDT-SMP on SSE.
HDT Heels makes sure the character height is adjust appropriately. They work without it, but the character's height will stay the same. HDT heels has been superseded by https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18045
in fact i have smp. So everything fine i guess :D
Make sure to check the troubleshooting guide for help with crashes and other problems!
