I really feel sorry for all the Ambassadors who have suffered from Ron's machinations.
24.05.2020. I saw a post on the forum about recruiting Ambassadors for Free TON.
At that time, it was just an offer that was not properly formalized in order to launch the contest. Now you can see the final version of the edited post, but all the dates and discussions have remained unchanged.
I really liked this idea and also had a desire to join the work in this direction. The community started a discussion in a thread. By this time, I had two ideas - to launch a Wiki project and create a teamwork with Ambassadors.
21.07.2020. There has no been progress yet.
In parallel I invited many different people to the Free TON, but they did not want to go because they did not believed in the project and did not want to participate.
I have already been a member of the community since May 7, knew many people and understood how different things work here. I also understood that if the contest will be launched to attract the Ambassadors, there was simply no one to work with them, since there was neither a program nor a team for this.
Then I managed to interest the Ambassador from another network and we immediately issued a contest ready to launch - the Ambassadors Program Development Contest.
25.07.2020. I have published ready to vote Contest Proposal that was made with forum/contests best practices for that time.
Here you can see the final version of my proposal. It was edited as it is usually done after all the discussions and agreements. The date and discussions in the thread are original. My proposal received a positive feedback from the community and people wanted to launch.
I offered to cooperate with the Turkish author and wrote a message in his thread. But there was no reaction.
30.07.2020. I found a new message on the forum according to the Turkish author offer.
Then very strange things began to happen, the essence of which I did not understand then, but there was a feeling that someone deliberately hinders my initiative. But I did not understand who and why. At meetups, on the forum and in chats, the Free TON team invited the community to create and launch activities, but in fact it was not at all like that.
I did everything exactly as they explained, but there was no result. And then I had to personally come to the meetup and make a little embarrassment so that people would get up. Immediately after the meetup, I was added to Contest/Proposals Factory group where I rewound all the correspondence to understand the situation. In addition, I was made a moderator on the forum and I got access to the admin panel.
I put all the information together and then I was in complete shock.
It turned out that the Turkish author could not even arrange the Proposal on his own. And Ron did it personally. And at the time when I had already published the finished contest on the forum, they still had nothing ready at all.
Only on the 30th did he publish information on the forum about Proposal.
And my collaboration message ... was just deleted by Ron (Chief Business Officer / TON Labs).
I decided not to show my cards and continue doing my job as if nothing had happened. I was just wondering how it would end.
Ron's budget was so big that I was surprised. For 20 winners 1 100 000 TON Crystals.
Before that, such numbers were not in the contests in my memory.
After that, our contest continued to slow down, and then I went through a whole bunch of changes and teachings from Ron - how to do it right and so on. Although initially the contest was perfectly prepared. Our budget was also individually reduced by Ron.
31.07.2020. Ron's Contest was quickly approved.
People started to apply for the contest. In total, 34 applications were received from different parts of the world.
Further, the main Governance refused to fulfill its direct duties - to vote for applications. And the recruitment of new judges began. All the current contests stopped and all the participants remained in anticipation. The Ambassador's contest was relaunched only at the end of September. All this time people have been waiting. Some of them have already started work, created a website, started preparing content, launching activities.
For a very long time, people have been waiting for the list with awards... But that moment never came.
Without informing anyone and without agreeing with anyone, as well as without any additional voting, Ron single-handedly persuaded the judges to vote not as indicated in the contest, but in his own way. I found out about this only at the AMA session when I was working with the Ambassadors.
Our team was waiting for the list of winners from the main Governance so that we could continue to work with them. But Ron came in and crossed it out.
All the work of our team for which none of us received a penny. People who were also left without prizes. Completely not giving a damn about the on-chain voting and the accepted Contest ... And this person is still trying to play smart on the forum and tell stories. It's a shame. It's just a shame.
