Zhoie Perez ("Furry Potato") Crime Story
US — Santa Clarita, Los Angeles. A YouTube star accused of making terrorist threats and using racial slurs while harassing military members at a Marine Corps recruiting office has pleaded guilty to lesser charges.
Zhoie Perez of La Mirada, California, a 45-year-old man who identifies as a woman, centers his YouTube channel on “auditing” public locations for violations of free speech.
Under his YouTube screen name “Furry Potato,” Mr Perez visits governmental properties and loudly makes controversial declarations and antagonizes public servants. If he is escorted off the property or arrested, the public servants are exposed by Mr Perez on his channel for failing the free speech “audit.” Mr Perez describes himself as an “investigative journalist.”
In one incident at a US Army Reserve Center in Bell, California, which he uploaded to YouTube on June 10, 2018, Mr Perez is seen on video calling a soldier “bootlicker,” and asking viewers to trace the man’s license plate and “dox” him. Doxxing is the practice of searching for and posting online an individual’s personally identifiable information, typically for malicious purposes.
Two days later, on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, Mr Perez “audited” a Marine Corps Recruiting Office in Valencia, California. The recruiting office is situated near the food court entrance of Westfield Valencia Town Center mall. According to several witnesses, Mr Perez made terrorist threats and yelled racial slurs at a black Marine Corps recruiter.
As Mr Perez walked away from the location, he was arrested on the felony charge of terrorizing someone and causing fear. Bail was set at $75,000, and Mr. Perez was out by midnight.
Santa Clarita Police treated the incident as a hate crime. “A person threatened someone at the Marine Corps Recruiting office,” Lt Leo Bauer of Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station stated. “This is considered a hate crime, since derogatory comments were directed at an African American recruiter.”
In a negotiated deal, Mr Perez pleaded no contest on December 5, 2018 to one infraction count of disturbing the peace. Four other charges against him were dismissed.
Mr Perez was ordered to pay a $100 fine and a penalty assessment.

Actually, naming the antagonizing of a member of the military a “hate crime” sets a dangerous precedent. It don’t think it’s the soldier’s color that he objected to. We have to be free to be critical not only of the government and the military in general but also of individual politicians and soldiers.
You weren’t present at the time of the incident, correct? Witnesses and the alleged victim tell a different story, one that includes racial abuse.
I was as I watched it all occur live, as hundreds others had too and do you know the da actually questioned why they accused her of using the “N word” but the video clearly proved she never used any racial slur at all, and what they had suggested was when she referred to another YouTube channel owner by his name of “munkay” for “munkay83” so not only was it not a racial slur at all, but it wasnt even directed at the treasonous cowards acting under oath of the constitution that allegedly “fight for our rights and freedom”? Not only would it still be protected free speech if she had, but she didn’t and had every second of her entire interaction from long before to long after on one continuous, impossible to edit recording as it was live. They had literally charged her with something that is not a crime and fought it hard to spite her, just as they charge her when she is a victim and flat out refuse to ever press any charges in her defense and we’re talking about a person who has been almost every form of assaulted and attacked, including being shot while on a public sidewalk for no crime or violation at all, then the responding pigs actually cuffed and detained her upon arrival to a gunshot victim scene before ever even rendering any kind of aid, and even left her cuffed while in the ambulance!!! America is dead and rotting, so many fought and died for nothing at all! She is the poster child for examples of how police and the entire just us system are worthless and corrupt, and her injustices alone fully validate even murder upon the culprits as far as morals go. If they can up and decide to blatantly arrest, charge, commit perjury, ignore the crimes she suffered, refuse her any of the protections afforded to her by the 14th amendment as well as any other amendment and waste tax payer money to oppress her absent any criminal offenses, then they can choose to do this to anyone they want and that means the entire just us system, police resources and law are just their personal weapons that they are immune to but can be used against us. If you support this sort of treasonous terrorism thsn you are just as bad, and anyone that does is going to cause serious suffering for themselves in this life or the next, and most certainly for their descendants and that is just a universal truth.
Your statements might have had more credibility if you did not attempt to gaslight us by pretending that men can be women. We both know Zhoie Perez is a man. If a person is willing to lie about something so basic – when I know, you know, everyone in the world knows you are lying, and you know we all know you are lying – then there is no telling what else you are lying or would lie about. It is akin to you intentionally urinating on my leg in a crowded place while I and everyone around observe the act, and you insisting that it is raining. We all understand that there are two sexes, and that sex is an immutable trait in humans; let us not play games.
I am sure that corruption abounds amongst the military, the justice system, in politics, and so on. Power without sufficient checks and oversight tends to be abused by humans, even in medicine, where medical practitioners have been arrested for injecting patients with toxic mixtures just for the attention of rescuing them from death. That individuals work for organizations that could do better in respecting the human rights for the public they serve does not make an obnoxious person – who makes his money and fame terrorizing random persons who are simply working, harassing them until they snap – moral, a hero, or freedom fighter who is saving the US. If he were recording these persons engaging in acts of abuse or corruption, then your argument that his goal is to protect Americans would be more valid. If police arrested or shot him as he was recording police, say, planting evidence, shooting unarmed citizens, keeping drug money or raping prostituted women, or recording military members covering up rape in their ranks, then you would have a point. As it stands, HE is just a public nuisance, recklessly distracting those charged with protecting public property and/or lives.

Will, I agree with your observations. I have represented several auditors in court; but tow the line when it comes to those who harass private citizens who are simply trying to enjoy their day. The government and its employees are fair game, but unless someone sticks their head into the “audit”, normal people aren’t asking to be “educated” or “informed” about someone’s right to takes pictures in public or their right to make money on You Tube. Of course, I give a huge pass to Rights Crispy’s response to the “normal citizen” who had a bill board sized thin blue line flag plastered on the back of his van.

Stephen Perez aka Furry Potato is a embarrassment to America. He harasses people daily for money, likes and feeding his followers what they want to see. He speaks to people in the most vile way showing no respect at all. The guy has major mental issues which is untreated. He literally makes his living from harassing anyone and everyone. His followers actually send him money in the addition of the money he makes from YouTube.
It’s a sad day when people stand behind, support a man with boobs harassing churches, businesses, police, residents at their homes, senior citizens to young kids. No one is off his list to target for a response. He provokes anyone along the way in hopes of a reaction that will get him free money. The guy is a complete evil hearted person and a very hated person by his own actions.

I’ve been watching some of this guy’s videos and while I don’t agree on what he does he’s well within constitutional boundaries. Standing on a public sidewalk filming regular people and government officials is not against the law. If they’d just ignore him and go about their way he wouldn’t be able to get his content
I have seen two videos in which he was trespassing.
If those who think he is “bothering” them would mind their own business, stay away from him and not assault and batter him for no reason other than they think they are owed an explanation, then he would get what he wants: to be allowed to express his first amendment right and there would be no “victim”. But when you see what really happens the supposed “victims” are the real aggressors and criminals.
Anyway he has now retired and probably is multi rich from the settlements awarded to him for the toxic behavior of those who think they are better or more powerful but are only totally in the wrong.
