As a great Polish writer, Andrzej Sapkowski, wrote "Something ends, Something begins". Today is one of these days.
Many of you might remember us promoting a certain discord server as our official one, depite it being admistrated by people not linked to Hair-Fetish-Unite.
This is no more the case. I've come to the conclusion that we were giving a false impression of marriage and proximity between this group and that discord server. But after a lot of thinking I decided to create my own discord server that will try to continue the feel and purpose of Hair-Fetish-Unite group, it's main purpose being the promotion of hair-fetish artists and their art.
It is not a perfect alternative for DeviantArt, but it's what we have for now. With time we plan to create an image board which will make sharing fetish content even easier. For now I simply invite you to join us and share your art on our new official discord server:
It's still small, but with your help we can grow it into a nice, big community ;)
Due to the fact that dA forced on us their new "Eclipse" website desgin that is fucking useless when it comes to notifying us about any new group messages, I decided it is the time to just stop developing this group. Maybe we will come back in some time with some alternative, maybe we will just disappear for good. For now this is the end, at least from my part, as I can't be bothered anymore to jump through numerous tabs and links to find out if there were any new submissions to the group.
Thank you everyone for those past few years. It has been fun.
We have a new art thief in the fetish community.
Their way of operating is a sneaky one as they steal images from other dA users (and probably also from Google Search) and apply some crappy filter on top of it, so it won't be indexed by reverse image search.

Just to explain a few things, as I got to know people started getting concerned about the accep times lately.
I've just switched jobs and moved to a new city recently and I still haven't brought my desktop PC with me to my new house, so I just don't tend to log into dA as frequently in the last two weeks.

Things hopefully should get back to their usual pace since Monday. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Well, today become the day I made one of big cleanups in our group gallery. I moved many missplaced art into corresponding folders, but also removed today more than 100 pictures from the group.
Many of you might have got messages telling that your art got removed. Why is that? What happened? Well, let me explain.


When the group started, there wasn't really too much hair artists od deviantART. Hence why we had to request many art pieces that were only just slightly relevant to hair fetish. But, as the time passed and we progressed, the group become bigger, so we had to change our gallery submission criteria, so some art just stopped being relevant to the group topic. But of course it's true only about a part of the art. There are also some changes that I decided on that caused the purge:

— Art originality – there were some cases in the past that reposts of other artists' work have been accepted into the group, like some images by Rafui or Hair Salon Alocer. Starting from now, we won't be accepting any art that does not belong to the poster, doesn't matter if they got author's permission or not. Second thing is that I removed any pictures being screenshots from hair makeover games or avatar makers. The first one's not being origianl art at all and the second just being lazy.
— Hair focus – some photos or drawing submitted here were not really related to the group topic in a sense that the main focus of the piece was not hair (it's cool you've draw this character from X franchise, but… It's just that, no hair style change or anything really relevant, so it's not hair-related art). A fact that the person on the picture does have (or even doesn't) hair, does not make this a hair-focused picture.
— Submission quantity – there are some creators that just make lots of pictures, being those photos or comics. Even though we really appreciate those people's work, we don't want our group gallery to be overwhelmed by their works, so we got a bit more picky when deciding if a particular piece of art should stay or not.
— Other reasons – the hair being covered, the letters in the comic being non-readable or the iece just being or relatively poor quality compared to the average of our submissions.

Deciding on what pics to keep and what to delete wasn't an easy decission for me to make, so I hope you would understand my decission. I didn't want to upset or offend anyone. In the past I decided to accept every voluntary submission to our gallery, but recently I heard many comments in the community about sumbissions' quality getting very low or non-hair art being accepted into the group, so I've decided there was a need for a change.




PS. And on a side note, as it was always a kind of confusing classification to people, I came up with a simple rule-of-thumb guidline for hair-length folders:
— Short hair – into this folder goes any hair that doesn't (or does barely) reach the shoulders.
— Semi-long hair – into this folder goes any hair which length is between shoulder-length and waist-length.
— Long hair – for waist-long hair or longer.
