False. Feminism was created by, and is run by, patriarchs. These patriarchs leverage garbage women—feminists—to be figureheads as a tactic to inflict, onto women in general, the social order of feminism, which imperils and impedes most women and makes them miserable.
One example of evidence for this was the 1920s campaigns by the patriarchs of U.S. tobacco companies. Those patriarchs paid feminist "leaders" to equate smoking with freedom. These campaigns were famously engineered by Sigmund Freud's nephew, Edward Bernays—author of book Propaganda (1928). Those patriarchs' campaigns about women smoking were not about feminists helping women: they were about business men leveraging feminists to get the business men money from women smoking. There are thousands of examples like this—examples showing that feminism is nothing but a tactic by men to leverage some women, in order to control other women (and men).
Feminism was created by patriarchs and is run by patriarchs. Now, the weakest and stupidest of men throw feminism in the face of miserable as supposed evidence that women get what they asked for—even that patriarchs' feminism is evidence of society being "gynocentric." However, women, in general, did not ask for feminism and do not want feminism. Rather, some patriarchs created feminism, puppeteered some women to pretend feminism is pro-women, and the consequence is what we see today: rampant misery among women and girls. Feminism is anti-women.
