For me it was conflicting with a mod called Section 5, and a bug fix for a problem that cluttered up the end of the gauntlet in Nuka World, so I uninstalled it. If you run a lot of mods ( I run over 460 mods at last count)it could be a lot of other things as well Some time they just don't play well with each other.

I would gently nudge you towards trying Vortex or even Mod Organizer 2 instead of NMM, as it's easier to manage load order and conflict resolution.
