Duplicated related links

Here we can see 2 blocks of related links.

The first one is added manually and cannot be reliably identified (there are no classes for related links, etc., admin's opinion is here)

The second one is automatically generated [1, 2], and can have articles from the future.

If you use both, you can often have duplicated links.

It's not a template error. The author has most likely added these links manually, it is impossible to determine. Since it is a non-standard behavior of the articles on this site

You are right. It is exactly what I mean: we shouldn't format any of these blocks as <related>.

Update 2:

Here and here we can see more examples, that related links from first block cannot be reliably identified. And we have duplicated links again.
