Dove Cameron is making a statement with a series of braless selfies and a message about embracing women’s bodies.
The 23-year-old Descendants actress took to her Instagram on Tuesday to share two beautiful selfies. But the former Disney star also decided to pose without a bra — her way of making a point about feminism and the suppression of women .
“Women HAVE a history that has been systematically suppressed. Our collective spirituality has largely been tainted to fit the needs of men and those in power,” Cameron’s first caption reads, quoting author Trista Hendren. “Our girls deserve better. The time to introduce feminism and woman-centered spirituality to ALL children is now.”
Her second post then included a quote about the “feminine principle” from the author of Singing Woman: Voices of the Sacred Feminine, Elizabeth Eiler.
“In such times as these, women are able to look at themselves with new concepts of value and brilliance,” the quote reads. “However you inhabit and express being Woman, embrace yourself in that way today!”
Both posts have aggregated millions of likes, in addition to tens of thousands of reactions from people — including those from critics of the star who told her to “delete this.”
“Honey, What are you posting? You're a professional actress working with Disney, not a pinup girl,” one person wrote. Another commented, “this is nudity.”
However, Cameron wasn’t shy about responding to criticism — especially from those disputing the notion that braless photos can be inspirational.
“I agree with you in the sense that it is not that deep or groundbreaking whatsoever,” Cameron responded. “But it’s only a big deal because this society is so beyond backwards that they have demonized basic anatomy and are very ! up ! in arms ! about female bodily freedom.”
Cameron went on to point out that a lot of girls “feel confused” when it comes to their bodies and what it means to be a woman. But after sharing her posts, a number of Cameron’s fans have said that she’s the reason they’ve overcome those difficult or shameful feelings.

The popular American singer and an extremely talented actress Dove Cameron was born on January 15, 1996, in Seattle, Washington to Bonnie Wallace and Philip Alan Hosterman. Her parents divorced later on while she also has an elder sister Claire Hosterman. She is renowned for her dual role in the Liv and Maddle playing as the eponymous character and for playing the role of Mal in the film series called Descendents . She also did the recurring role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D as Ruby Hale. She was brought up in Bainbridge Island of Washington. Dove studied in Sakai Intermediate School and started her acting career at a tender age of 8 years. She also sang in the National Championship Show Choir in the Burbank High School when the family moved to California. She knows French for she claims to be of French descent. She is also of Russian descent. Throughout her school life, she was bullied from the 5 th standard to the completion of high school. Now her images are the sexiest images on the internet.
In the year 2007, Cameron acted as young Cosette in the “Les Miserables” in Bainbridge Performance Arts. This was a stage production that brought all the limelight on her. By 2008, she started playing the lead roles. Cameron acted as Mary in “The Secret Garden ” . She was cast in the Disney Channel Original Series called Bits and Pieces where she played the role of Alanna. Then she did a dual lead role in Liv and Maddie . In August of 2013, she was on the cover page of ‘On Top of the World’ as the promotional single.
Cameron expresses her desire to release music albums and she worked on it in the year 2017. Soon we will see the release of “Talks About ” in 2019 which is her debut single. Her half nude hot photos are worth watching.

Disney star Dove Cameron has defended herself for having nipples, after having the audacity to share a selfie without wearing a bra.
The 23-year-old, best known for starring in Descendants, was hit with backlash after sharing selfies in a white vest which showed that she was going braless.
Many complained that she needed to be a better role model and that she should stop posting ‘sexualised’ selfies, with one fan writing: ‘Keep that behind closed doors. Think about your kid fans.’
However, Dove wasn’t about to have her body policed, and added some badass captions to the offending pictures.
The Liv and Maddie star wrote: ‘Women HAVE a history that has been systematically suppressed. Our collective spirituality has largely been tainted to fit the needs of men and those in power. This has a profound effect on the self-esteem of girls and the women they become.
‘This influence can be seen in their life choices, partners and financial security for the rest of their lives. It also has an effect on the way their future partners will view them – and ultimately treat them. Our girls deserve better. The time to introduce feminism and woman-centered spirituality to ALL children is now.’
She continued: ‘This is the age of the ascendant Feminine Principle. In such times as these, women are able to look at themselves with new concepts of value and brilliance. However you inhabit and express being Woman, embrace yourself in that way today!’
And fans of Dove were loving her clapbacks.
Singer Niki wrote: ‘finally someone from disney showing the nature of being a woman. loving this vibe’, while one follower added: ‘feeling empowered w no bra on rn bc of this.’
Lili Reinhart’s mother even shared the snaps and wrote: ‘So Dove showed that she had nipples today. Did people think she didn’t have any? The only thing that bothers me about this post is the women that are leaving comments about how horrible this picture is. Mass shootings are horrible. These are just boobs.’
Dove also shared a number of her favourite comments, including an epic one which read: ‘Imagine being triggered over someone not wearing a BRA. I’m sorry if our titties should be restrained then so should your guns.’
And the actress explained her stance after one follower commented: ‘I just don’t understand how people find this empowering or inspiring like she’s not wearing a bra. It’s really not that deep.’
Dove wrote: ‘I agree with you in the sense that is it not that deep or groundbreaking whatsoever, or anything really to talk about. But it’s only a big deal because this society is so beyond backwards that they have demonised basic anatomy and are very! up! in arms! about female bodily freedom. They’re confused and loud about it.
‘So technically, it’s not a big deal, and it shouldn’t be, and the idea behind posting something like this is to normalise it because a lot of girls feel confused about their bodies and what it means to be a woman (in a surface way) on this specific subject, about sexuality and men and who their body belongs to bc of long-lasting systemic repression). So. it’s cool to be like, it’s whatever.
‘Embrace yourself. Don’t hide, if you wanna, and wear a bra, if you wanna. But don’t hide to avoid backlash. Because you don’t deserve to have a*****es giving you s*** about YOUR BODY.’
Dove recently celebrated the premiere of Disney’s Descendants 3, in which she plays Mal, the daughter of Maleficent.
However, it has been a tough few weeks for the actress, following the death of her co-star and close friend Cameron Boyce.

Admitting she was struggling with mourning her friend in public, Dove told E!: ‘He just was everything that everybody says he is. He was from someplace else. He was truly like a cosmic happening. Cameron was the world’s most singular person.
‘I can say with total confidence that everybody would have said that, you know, a year ago.’
