The card game is straightforward and largely luck-based, thanks to all the times a random deck is used.

This update brings a completely new visitable location, (which some of you might remember from a particular holiday event) where you will be able to brew potions using ingredients that you can buy or obtain through events, this location will also serve as Snape's office.
Potions, when obtained, can be given to characters (Hermione only for now). Each potion produces a different effect, and events vary based on character’s progression, previous choices, or how many times the events were replayed. Each event consists of unique writing and graphics, most of them include CG scenes (drawn by @LoafyLemon).
We have also taken necessary steps to improve the game's performance on a wider range of devices, fixing bugs and optimising the code, in order to reduce the number of issues the previous release has had.
Additionally, points and money gains have been rebalanced, in order to reduce the overall ‘grind’, as the previous balancing is no longer appropriate for the amount of content in the game.
For example, hanging out with Snape will not only increase passive Slytherin points gains, but it also will yield a flat points bonus, allowing you to focus on the more fun aspects of the game rather than just statistics. Report writing, similarly to points, has been rebalanced to enable more playstyles.
Other improvements have been made to Hermione events and favours, including new events, fixes for older content, and general improvements to narration, or even character progression based dialogues which also include currently worn character clothing.
New Outfits have been added for Luna, Cho, and Tonks, some of them received new miscellaneous items and tattoos. New wardrobe chit-chats have also been included.
Additionally, the wardrobe has received its fair share of additions, including suggested quality of life changes, colour synchronisation, outfits randomisation, and more!
Save compatibility has finally been enabled, allowing you to continue from your save file made with any 1.40.X version , please know that this feature is still in a BETA phase, and may not work in all cases. Due to technical limitations, save files with mods enabled are not supported by saves compatibility. It is also important to note that some events included, or improved in this update will be missed if you've progressed past them already.
To ensure maximum save compatibility, before upgrading, please save the game in the office, when no event is currently being played.

Through time-travel mumbo-jumbo and some magical shenanigans, you find yourself stuck in a body of the most powerful wizard in the universe, known as Albin Dumbledork! Here’s what we’ve been working on this past month. Two new CG scenes have been drawn and finalised for potion events along with four new pieces of conceptual art. Potions writing has been further branched-out, and expanded to include various character states such as current corruption level, the fact if they drank the potion before, or if it’s a repeated event etc. Several Improvements and additions have been made to mid-game favours for Hermione. For example, the ‘Admire panties’ Tier 3 event chain has been pushed to Tier 4 so the writing aligns better with other favours that were previously conflicting in terms of how Hermione perceives those favours at her current progression step. To fill in the gap, entirely new writing has been added for this particular event chain at Tier 3, along with new branching dialogue based on the fact if you did other events in the list (i.e ‘Dance for me’) or not. Other events were improved in a similar manner as well. Hermione chibi animations have been improved, and a few new ones were added as well. The new and improved chibi variants will include clothing states, and more robust facial expressions. New Chit-Chats for Luna’s Outfits have been written and partially implemented, the rest we will continue adding through the month. Several QoL improvements have been added such as Outfits Scheduling not resetting for when you overwrite an outfit, new cheats, or improved rollback support. We have also made some improvements to our set of developer tools to make our lives a little bit easier. 🙂
The potions introduction, potions gameplay mechanics, new map location, are now implemented and in its last stages of polish and testing. We are still working on implementation of the character “drinking” events, half of which is already being implemented, dialogues are proofread and polished, the new artwork has also been finished and is waiting to be added into the game. A new points distribution algorithm has been implemented to ensure fair distribution among houses, and to enable the player to reach events that were previously difficult to trigger due to flawed points systems, and to lessen the grind in some cases. Hanging out with the teachers gives better bonuses, so that Gryffindor doesn’t stay in the lead as you progress through Hermione’s corruption. For example, hanging out with Snape will give a passive increase to Slytherin points gain, and flat bonus after the hangout event. Wardrobe has received a new feature, allowing you to randomise the entire character look with a single button, making it easier to benefit from the new looks without spending too much time playing dress-up. Unfortunately, it’s not all good news, one person from our core team had to take a leave due to personal reasons, so work has been going a little slower than we hoped. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to outsource the work so the impact hasn’t been as bad as it could’ve been. Just to be clear, the CG Artwork team has not been affected.
More work has been put into optimising the game, the recent changes yielded a nice performance increase in rasterization (up to 10%), in instances where characters or outfits are displayed, and improved IO (performance increase dependant on hardware). To add to it, we are hoping to bring the number one requested feature (Not hand-holding you perverts…), save compatibility across major releases, yes, you heard it right, no more restarts required. After a brief break, we are back to work full speed. The next 1.41 update will be focused on the reintroduction of potions, which includes new personal and public events, new artwork, and new visitable locations. Events will be properly added into the Corruption system, to ensure character reactions are appropriate for their progression step and other variables such as the fact if they already drank a specific potion or not. We have a prepared a mini update to celebrate the upcoming Halloween, and to give you guys something to do while we work on the next big update, witch you will be hearing about more in the upcoming month. On top of the usual contents like bug fixes, proofreading, and improvements, this update also includes new content such as a new Halloween-themed Mirror Story starring Tonks, Cho and Luna, alongside Genie of course. The story includes several new and unique rewards such as new decorations and three very hot new outfits for the girls. Additionally, Hermione's Magic Collar events are back, but in a much better form than previously, as we have overhauled them completely, to include new branching dialogues, new artwork with unique design for each collar, and one completely new collar choice. A decent amount of work was put into room decorations, to support animations, and to allow us to add them more easily to the game. Two new cosplay outfits have been added for Cho and Luna, and a bunch of piercings have been added for Hermione as a bonus. For a complete list of changes, please refer to the changelog .
