Virtual experience in the digital form has transformed our perception of reality, and our recognition of the physicality of space has been distorted. By leveraging the tension between digital image and traditional mediums in her show Ecstasy on the Surface , Leekyung Kang , the Borgeson Artist in Residence, intensifies this distortion. Through mass image duplication, its disorientation, randomness and repetition, there lies a co-existence of the two- and three-dimensional worlds.
