So, first things first: what is it?
Well, lovelies, this is probably France’s greatest contribution to the modern chastity world. Red Chili’s Sissy Cage!
As the name implies, the size and shape of the cage were designed specifically for dangler-havers that identify as sissies, wear female clothes (even if only on special occasion), and want to ensure that their danglers are secured as discreetly as possible. For that reason the Sissy cage has an early downards bend, similar to that of the HolyTrainer.
This helps keep your clitty pointing downwards, which helps curb erections and helps keep it from poking outwards from your body.
Another really neat thing about the Sissy cage is that, like the HolyTrainer, it’s composed of only a few important parts: The tube, the ring, they key, and the lock.
Although, in the Sissy’s case, it’s actually a screw and a specialized star screwdriver.
This does present some challenges, however, like making it hard to lock if you’re prone to getting hard when getting in your cage (like I was at first).
Also, you gotta be careful because it is a tiny screw, and if you lose it, you’ll need to order a replacement…which ships from France…so you better not friggin lose it! In contrast, the HT’s MagicLock is pretty hard to lose. Like, seriously, you actually have to purposefully remove the lock from the key in order to lose it. Also, because there’s no screwing, locking the HT is as simple as sliding the lock and twisting it.
Of course, the catch here is that the screw allows the Sissy cage to have an unbelievable, unprecedented low profile.
This is something that the HT will never be able to have unless they find a really clever place to put the MagicLock.
Of course, if you’ve got foreskin, like me, and don’t like the idea of having to unscrew and re-screw every time you clean up, Red Chili has you covered with other locking options -including one that lets you use a standard mini padlock. Buuuut then that kinda defeats the purpose, in my opinion.
Anyways, another really neat thing about the Sissy cage is how small the actual parts of the cage are. I mean, look at how thin the ring is:
That is also an option, and you can get a thicker ring if you so desire, but since this is a cage for sissies, I went with the thinnest option -it would be more comfortable and would hide easier. Now, if you look closely, you’ll notice that unlike other metal cages, my Sissy’s ring isn’t perfectly circular - that is another of the options you can choose when making the cage. I went with the ergonomic ring, which I knew would be more body-friendly, but unfortunately it’s not body-friendly enough. This is, in my opinion, what was giving me the troubles with my skin. As you can see, the HT and the Sissy both have the same diameter height-wise, but the HT is much, much wider. For me, particularly, this is excellent because I have a short scrotum and my sissy ovaries tend to hang high, so having that extra real estate on the sides is a godsend; and not having it leads to a lot of bunched up skin which leads to pinching, pain, and swelling. This is especially bad when erections happen because then there’s even less room to go around on that top part of the cage. I have emailed Red Chili about this, asking if I can purchase a ring that is wider than it is tall, and I’ll let you lovelies know what they say.
Anyways, moving on. I’m sure one of the first things you lovelies noticed was the double bars at the front.
This is yet another option they have available for their cages -it’s called Double Floor Head, and it’s designed to create a buffer between clothes and foreskin in an attempt to prevent pinching. It mostly works for me, but apparently I have fairly flexible foreskin, so I do get some pinching sometimes. It’s DEFINITELY nowhere near as bad as the HT, though, and because it’s all smooth bars there are no sharp edges to dig into the skin.
Another neat thing is that as you can see it’s an open design cage, which makes cleaning a lot easier. If you have foreskin, however, you’ll still have to remove it periodically, but at least you can wait a bit longer, and quick-cleans with q-tips become a lot more feasible. If you’re lucky enough to not have it, though, then this could easily be your forever-home!
On a final note, I want to point out two things. First, this thing weighs NOTHING! IT’s made out of stainless steel, but it barely weighs more than the HT! And because of this, it feels like you’re not wearing anything. And since it doesn’t have the rear lip that the HT V3 has, you can comfortably readjust the cage upwards or downwards -it’s okay, it’s far shorter than the HT (or at least mine is :P)
The other thing is the craftsmanship. It’s absolutely fantastic. Of course, this is something you’d hope for in a device that’ll set you back more than $200, but with it being my first custom device, I’m really impressed. There’s no sharp edges, no scorch marks, no seams that are painful to look at, no guiding rods that can pinch you. Nothing. The finish is absolutely beautiful. In fact, if it weren’t for the unfortunate ring size issue, I’d wear this baby as close to 24/7 as possible. Granted, it’s not as cute and doesn’t quite hide your clitty from sight like the pretty opaque pink HT does, but it’s still super comfortable, and it hides SO MUCH BETTER under clothes. As it stands, I’ll probably use the Sissy as a daily wearer, and the HT as my bedtime cage.
In the end, I guess the only way to sum-up Red Chili’s Sissy Cage is: one ring short of being the perfect cage!
