Synopsis:
Charley Scalies, a grizzled old con with a heart of gold (or at least gold-plated), is one last job away from retirement. But when a young, reckless upstart threatens to blow his final heist, Charley must outsmart both the cops and his own crew to pull off the impossible—one last time.

Act 1: The Setup

Charley Scalies, 65, sits in a diner, stirring his coffee with a bent spoon. His hands shake—not from nerves, but from decades of pulling scams. Across from him, Tommy 'The Kid' Marino, 22, fresh out of juvie, grins like he’s already won.

'You sure this is the crew, old man?' Tommy scoffs. 'A safecracker with arthritis, a wheelman who can’t see past his cataracts, and you—what, the brains?'

Charley sighs. 'Kid, in this game, the brain’s the only muscle that don’t wear out.'

Act 2: The Heist

The target: A mob-owned poker game in the back of Silvio’s Meat Market. The crew moves like a well-oiled machine—until Tommy gets greedy, pocketing an extra stack of cash and tripping the silent alarm.

Sirens wail. The crew scatters. Charley grabs Tommy by the collar. 'You just turned a clean score into a circus. Now we play my way.'

Act 3: The Double-Cross

Charley leads the cops on a wild goose chase—through a funeral home, a bakery, even a nun’s charity bingo game—while the real money slips out in a hearse driven by his ex-wife, Rosa.

Tommy, handcuffed in the back of a squad car, finally understands. 'You played me.'

Charley tips his hat. 'Kid, in this life, you’re either the grifter or the mark. Today, you graduated.'

Epilogue:
Charley retires to Boca Raton with Rosa and a suitcase full of cash. Tommy? He’s got 5–10 to think about what he learned.
