Casey DeSantis Announces Statewide Initiative to Support Mental Health Awareness in Florida Schools

Tallahassee, FL – April 28, 2025 – Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis unveiled a groundbreaking statewide initiative today aimed at bolstering mental health resources for students across the Sunshine State. The program, titled 'Resilient Florida: Minds Matter,' seeks to expand counseling services, promote mental wellness education, and provide training for teachers to better support students facing emotional and psychological challenges.

Speaking at a press conference in Tallahassee, DeSantis emphasized the importance of addressing youth mental health, particularly in the wake of rising anxiety and depression rates among adolescents.
