Besides, the hotel's host of recreational offerings ensures you have plenty to do during your stay. Superb facilities and an excellent location make the New Season Hotel the perfect base from which to enjoy your stay in Hat Yai. I was traveling with my parents as well as my wife and her parents. We booked 2 grand room for 6 person, we were surprised by the spacious and clean rooms! The sofa bed is a bit too soft for me, but don't let the name fools you, it's just a big as a super single bed. First time ever in my life I have to say I have too many pillows on my bed not complaining! Toilet is big and comfortable to move around, it's link to a small changing room as well. Staffs were very helpful. We were not familiar with the surrounding of Hat Yai, and they provided us with many info and tips to get around places. They do speak english, and they probably speak the language better than my parents. I estimated parking slot, just down the alley beside the hotel mins walk. Please do let them know if you drive. With the quality and location of the hotel, I can easily say it was worth the money. Hotel staff was very polite ,friendly and helpful, especially the bell boys. Locate on very quiet street , min walk to Lee Garden and other location also nearby like Kim Yong market Mini mart and massage and late night noddles shop near by. The room is very clean and spacious,Bed was comfortable, king size bed with 4 pillows. Room was big with nice bathroom, only issue the shower area, Room Only complaint are the standing shower The water does not drain off , flood the floor, but my friends room did not have this problem. The closing of the room door , is loud every time some body in the next room close the door, seem the door not installed with a Automatic Door system Can hear noise outside the corridor, but not noise from the room beside. Overall I enjoyed my stay, will stay again on my next trip. The choice of Hotels is unsurprisingly limited due to Hat Yai being such a horrid place - there's simply not much demand, especially for any sort of quality accommodation. My double room was very large, with an enormous bed, big windows although Hat Yai being so hideous best not to look out of it much! Breakfast was simple but plentfiul. If you're European and want a European-style B'fast then it won't be much use as it's local dishes - but you can make toast. The Hotel is situated on a main road but well set back and in your room there's no traffic noise to be heard. At night Hat Yai is infamous for it's Rat population coming out in force and the gnarled wild dogs kind of take over the streets and fight each other all night long by the sounds of it - so at the risk of sounding like a paranoid loon don't go out at night. In fact one night I ventured along the sweeping driveway in front of the Hotel just to look again at the hideous surroundings and wild dogs roaming the streets and the Hotel Security Guard came rushing out and ushered me back in. That tells you everything you need to know. Oh, and I did venture out on foot during the day a very short distance to a nearby 'Mall' called Diana to see what clothes were available and the prices in this place were astronomical, unless you go to one of the deeply unattractive open markets don't go looking for bargains! One of my favorite hotel in Hat Yai on a prime location. To go shopping or movies at Central Festival Hat Yai just across the street. Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast at special rate offer on Agoda! It's at the high end for a double room in Hat Yai. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the Odean Shopping Mall. There is a nice morning market about a 5 minute walk away and there are many hawker stalls and restaurants serving food at night about 5 or 10 minutes away. The facility includes a nice cafe and a common area library. It is quite relaxed and quiet on the hotel grounds. The room is very spacious, using lots of wood and stone to create a very pleasant atmosphere. It is well equipped and snacks and drinks are complimentary. The bathroom is very large. The staff are highly attentive. I was permitted to check-in early, which I appreciated. While it lacks some facilities, like a pool or a spa of the big hotel, it excels in providing a calm and pleasant environment to compliment your stay in Hat Yai. During our first night exploring Hat Yai, we called the hotel for shuttle service to return to hotel from Asean Market. Surely will coming back to this hotel for future visit to Hat Yai. Syu, Malaysia Dec We were staying in Hat Yai for only one night and had arrived after a long train ride from Penang. It took about five minutes by cab to the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised considering the low price. The bell boy took our luggage to our room which was huge with a king bed that was so good to sleep on. There was a minibar, the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The next day, reception organised a bus to Krabi town for us and made everything easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel. This place is nice or very nice for a short or long stay at Hat Yai. It's location is the best! Kimyong Market is around 10 mins walking distance. The standard room for 2 pax is really spacious with king bed. Paid another baht for one additional pax. Though they didn't provide extra bed, they provided the additional pax with pillow and towel which is good enough. The room and shower are really nice with the minimal theme. Everything is nice! I wouldn't mind to stay here again next time. This hotel is super clean , comfort and the space is very big. The Wifi access is very stable and strong. The only defective thing is lack of hair dryer in each of the room But you can borrow from receptionist counter. I'm strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who going to Hat Yai and I'll choose this Hotel for my next visit again. Thank you! This new hotel was perfect. Our room was big and the bathroom was big and modern, with plenty of space to keep our toiletries. The aircon and wifi worked well. The room had blackout curtains, which ensured a good night's sleep. Bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was superbly clean. We'd highly recommend this hotel id staying in Hat Yai. The hotel was undergoing renovation, therefore the lobby wasn't attractive. But the room was very spacious, clean and had a great view. The hotel is not far as some claims, in fact it's jus a walking distance to Lee Garden plaza. Good place to stay overall. I'll be staying in the same hotel again if I visit hat yai. Whether you're a tourist or traveling on business, The Color Hotel is a great choice for accommodation when visiting Hat Yai. Offering hotel guests superior services and a broad range of amenities, The Color Hotel is committed to ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Hotel accommodations have been carefully appointed to the highest degree of comfort and convenience, with shower, mini bar, shared bathroom, seating area, air conditioning in each room. The Color Hotel is an ideal place of stay for travelers seeking charm, comfort and convenience in Hat Yai. Its my favorite hotel in Hat Yai. The rooms are okay and the location is in walking distance to market and not so far from the Makro. When the weather bad and you do not like to go out in the evening, then you can enjoy the band and other entertainment in the house. But when you do not have a good sleep and you like to go sleep early then you will have a problem about the sound. It is not a family hotel. Based south of the central area of Hat Yai. From there many nice places like restaurants and the nightlife with life bands easy to reach. Hotel is also used by groups. Interior is functional and ok, but will need sooner or later an update. All in all its good value for the money and I can recommend this hotel. The hotel and room are very clean and organized, the maid does a great job and the staff are attentive to problems. Its located in the center of things. That said, we didnt have any hot water for 3 days and I sure hated that. We would go down and tell them, the staff would come to the room and suddenly the hot water worked. As soon as he left the room, the hot water suddenly ended. After two times of this, we gave up and accepted cold showers. The room was number , just like the photo. Was it haunted? Who knows. The balcony is nice and the room is large. You lay in bed and see the mountains. The bed is very firm because in Thailand its normal in hotels to have a hard surface to lay on, not a deep cushy bed. But its good, it will straighten out your back! A review said you cannot close the curtains, yes you can, just pull the draw strings! The room was on the street but it was never too noisy and we were there on the weekend. When you close the balcony door, all you hear is the powerful and cold aircon. Everything is old, like old TV, but everything works and in good condition--except hot water at times! We brought our own kettle because the hotel doesnt supply them. They give 2 bottles of water everyday. Wifi worked for phones but not for laptop. Because there is so little English in the hotel, I could not get help for it. For muslims, there is food around but you have to search. I GPSed several Halal locations and tried them. There are a few good ones near the Diana Mall, a tuktuk driver should know, and the prices are OK. One Halal restaurant we found looked nice but charged triple the normal prices. You do find cheats within the Halal environment. The hotel is not exactly nearest the goods markets but with a tuktuk it would only be a few minutes ride. Do go to the markets but it would be most helpful if you have good negotiating skills. Stay was fine. Compared to other hotels used in Hat Yai room service more expensive. If you are a walker and do not wish to use tuk tuks etc it was very easy to get lost on the return to the hotel and not many locals to point you in the right direction!!!! Big room. Just in between of Hat Yai city centre and Asean Bazaar, can reached this place just by walking. Clean and tidy. However the receptionist not mentioned that plastic bottle mineral water will have additional charged if you drink it. FOC mineral water is in glass bottle only. My friend and I found that it would cost us the same to get a double room and share a bed split the cost as it would to each get an individual room. Loft bed, living space with couch, TV, and desk as well as lots of floor space. A box up in the loft area to store luggage, closet with drawers, lots of floor space, plenty of power outlets, and a fairly good sized bathroom for one person. Powerful air con in the room and since they were inside rooms with no windows, lovely and dark no matter the time of day. Good WiFi throughout the building. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a gym and communal kitchen on the second floor as well as a lounge area. I would say the only downsides are that if you want extra bedding or towels or pretty much anything besides the one towel, pillow, and terry cloth blanket, you have to rent them. Not a deposit that you will get back but actually paying extra for them. Also, the steps to get up into your bed are quite steep with no railing. A little inconvenient for middle of the night trips to the restroom. It is located just along the Khlong near the Phetkasem roundabout, which makes it a good location for going downtown and catching transportation. All in all, I would definitely stay here again! The stay was excellent! We drove in from Malaysia all the way into Hat Yai so we also needed parking for our car and we stayed on 2 weekdays. Check in process was awesome - they had super friendly staff to help you in on your way. Once given our welcome drinks - Butterfly Peach its called excellent by the way its onwards to the rooms. Its minimalist so be warned there is no lifts, ours is on 3rd floor and we had two rooms. We had help bringing our parents bags up. Room - Gorgeous! Air conditioning is cold, bed firm as we liked and pillows were very comfy. Beautiful minimalist settings throughout. Water pressure was strong - something which I am very particular with. It was in the mornings naturally lighted up by the see through roof, we relaxed for almost 6 hours there in the 3 days we spent in La Pause. Location wise though, its a little off the beaten track - we had a car so moving around was much easier, none the less its pretty close to where the other attractions are so thats fine. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in La Pause - we aim to be back next time we are in Hat Yai! Room are not ready upon check in Quit far to walk to the centre of Hat Yai about 12 minutes walking distance. Staff are friendly. This is my dream hotel. My wife and I just spent one night here, but I wish it had been longer. I would have loved to have just stayed for a week and enjoyed the facilities. The fitness center is fantastic. All the equipment is brand new and top o the line. There's plenty of space and it never got crowded while I was working out. I was able to do my regular weight lifting routine and get in a great cardio workout, too. You'll find every piece of fitness equipment that you could need. We didn't get to explore the Thai boxing gym, or the badminton or tennis courts, but the pictures look amazing. The pool is beautiful and looked very inviting. We didn't get a chance to try breakfast, but walking by in the morning, it smelled very good. From what I could see in the breakfast room, there were lots of dishes being offered. Next time, I'll try the breakfast and update my review. I'll be staying here every time I visit Hat Yai from now on. I love AC Sportcenter! It is far from lee garden and market area however that is a lot tuk-tuk around this hotel. Walk distance 15 to 20 min to market area. Tuk-tuk fees 20 bath per person to market area in within 3km. Hotel clean and friendly staffs. The hotel location is excellent. Unfortunately our room is so smelly.. The tub is broken we can see a hole. The bed is old, we can feel the springs. No smelly. These all however considered worth the price we paid as we spent more time outside. The staffs also really friendly and speak Malay. Easy to check in and out. Highly recommended but please check the room Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay again. The location is good near the bus station, convenience stores, night market and everything. Its a shame about the cobwebs in the room which really are not out of reach from a cleaner's feather duster or broom. Apart from that, the hotel seems pretty clean. We had nice new bedside lamps in our room but all the rest of the furniture was very old and in most cases damaged. The 'deluxe' room seems to be the corner rooms 4 on each of the 6 floors and features a wrap-around balcony. The addition of two chairs and a table would have made this balcony so much more appreciated as we had a good view of Hat Yai from up there and the weather is warm even at 3am. The aircon was effective but made some noise which was a bit annoying when you're trying to fall asleep or watch TV. Some English channels are available. The hotel is centrally located and the staff are friendly - though not very capable of English. Free Wi-Fi is available though the signal is weak in the room. We were in Neither the bathtub, nor the basin had drain plugs making bathing impossible and shaving very hard as the basing doesn't have hot water either. The shower was luke-warm at it's hottest setting and you have to try real hard to find a spot where too much water doesn't shoot right past you. The Toilet was terrible as we had to hold down the button for 1 minute or longer and watch how it slowly flushes away - and even then not everything was flushed. The little bar fridge's freezer compartment we had in our room was frosted up. Also, unlike the other hotels we've stayed at in Thailand this hotel does not offer a complimentary bottle of water so think twice before opening the 10 Baht bottle of water in the bar fridge. The thick curtains did a good job of keeping the morning sunlight out of our room though. I would not recommend this hotel, nor would I stay at it again unless my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options are fully booked. It just the location is quiet far from the town Hat yai. You need to catch a cab or tuk tuk to come here, but you need to bargain with the driver first for the fee because for the cab, the driver they refuse to use meter. Once at the resort, you can deal with the staff if you want to go to the town. But you have to mention the exact location and time of your journey. I speak to them with simple english with body gesture which they can understand. Overall, nice hotel to stay in without facing the hustle bustle of the town's life. It was my first time of visiting Hat Yai. My friend strongly recommended to stay in get's guesthouse. It's so convenient, modernise, clean and value to money. The owner was very helpful and suggested to the places where we should visit. The location is absolutely convenient where is nearby Kim Yong market. Every morning, we strolled around the morning market. We enjoyed a short visit Hat Yai very much. I'll recommend to friends who will visit Hat Yai to stay and enjoy the environment in Get's guesthouse. I surely will come back again. I love our stay of 2 nights. The bed was awesome! Love the personal tour through hat yai incl. The great food! It was a pleasant staying for 3days and 2 nights. The receptionist named Korn is a vary soft-spoken, friendly and helpful person. She help us alot by rent us a motorcycle and calling tuk tuk for us for a transportation to go Hat Yai Railway Station. We rent a Deluxe room. The room was really nice and cozy. Everything in there was functional in a good condition such as Tv, Air-condition, Water Heater, Toilet and sink. And also, they provides us a hair-dryer in the room as well. If u renting a car or a motorcycle, u can easily park it infront of ur door room. I like it because it is not in a crowded place. U can sleep nor rest in peacefully without getting disturb by any noisy sound. Five stars for this resort! Will come back and staying here again with friends next time. Located near to the poet tai night market a Located near to the poet tai night market and hat yai hotspot Lee Garden Plaza area. Not suitable for family, ok for backpackers who are not looking to spend a lot of time in the room. Workers are nice and very friendly. I arrive 2 hours earlier before check in time, the worker let us in earlier. A little but sad that the worker cant speak english but knows very limited words. But still I think the service is great. I think this hotel is more suitable for couple than family. The room I book was big and clean. It's satisfied for me. One not that serious unconvenient cons is the hotel located a little bit far from the city heart. If u dont mind walk for around mins to the heart of the city, this hotel is the best choice. The hotel is kinda remote, but u still can find on google map. And it's very quiet throughout the days. So just enjoy! We had one night in Hat Yai and this was a very comfortable hotel. The staff was very helpful in arranging onward travel. The place is just nearby central festival, even thought its far from town, there are tuk tuk offered at entrance of central festival mall, which cost only 30baht per person to kim yong market town area. Staff do not know how to speak english but they are very helpful and friendly. The room and toilet is clean. Firstly our room was not cleaned after the previous guests used it. There was pubic hair and stains in the bed. The bathroom was full of other people's hair and something spilled on the counter. Asked twice for the room to be cleaned and they refused. We noticed there were many ants in the room but the worst thing is once you turn off the lights the roaches come out. Turn the lights on in the middle of the night and you are in for a horrible surprise. Never ever stay here. Stayed for 2 nights here when visiting Hat Yai. The hotel has very basic amenities, no coffee no tea, no hot water cooker, only 2 bottles of plain water. The receptionists are only able to speak very, very basic English, but they are helpful. The first night we stayed here was very disappointing as the room was very old, and the air conditioning was smelly. After speaking with the hotel manager, we were able to get a better room for our second day. The plus point for this hotel is just its closeness to the Hat Yai market area. Which serve to make our search for food and shopping easier. This is a very simple hotel, it is not too bad for a short stay with the very reasonable price compare to other hotels in the main town. The hotel is clean although not many amenities and facilities. The location is not near to Hat Yai tourist area. Due to at night no reception, we need to use the Key-card to enter the hotel main entrance. Good location and nice stay for big group of people. It can accomodate 12 ppl.
