Marijuana use might worsen manic symptoms in people who have bipolar disorder. If used frequently, marijuana might increase the risk of depression or worsen depression symptoms. Smoking marijuana can affect your memory and cognitive function and cause harmful cardiovascular effects, such as high blood pressure. Long-term marijuana use can worsen respiratory conditions. Marijuana has a central nervous system CNS depressant effect. As a result, marijuana use in combination with anesthesia or other drugs used during or after surgery might cause an additive effect. Notice it has the same purple blood leaking out from where it was topped. If you were to taste it, it is quite bitter. They are actually conducting very interesting studies with anthocyanin and finding it to have intriguing medicinal properties. In fact they have shown it be incredibly effective at fighting obesity in rats. In Cannabis, this high concentration of anthocyanin in the sap during the vegetative state is actually quite rare. It is more typically seen in late bloom when the plant is exposed to colder temperatures. It acts as a kind of antifreeze for the plant, and is the substance responsible for turning some plants purple. Only a few strains display this adaptation, and even fewer display it during veg. I will say you definitely have a keeper there! You are in for a treat so be sure to clone those babies! Whenever I find this trait in a female I make sure to clone it and keep it as a mother, as I find these plants to be especially great smoke.
