I highly recommend this fixture and this company!!! The media could not be loaded. Looks great but as others have written it is horribly designed where the spout meets the rough in valve. It is simply too loose and I have not been able to get it to stop leaking. Tried a normal wrap of teflon tape, thicker wrap of teflon tape, pipe dope, nothing works. No way I trust this thing behind a finished wall. Have installed a decent number of faucets in my day and never had leak issues like this. Terrible design on the spout and you are lighting money on fire if you buy it. I am off to buy and re-plumb a new faucet. One person found this helpful. Hard to find a better made faucet for the price. They are straight threads, not NPT tapered threads. The installation instructions say to simply apply Teflon tape. What they don't say is that the threaded collar must be very tight against the wall to put a lot of tension on the downspout threads that have been wrapped in Teflon tape. This can be a problem if the collar isn't mounted on a tiled surface. A plain drywall surface is relatively soft and may not provide enough downspout thread tension to prevent a leak. The fix is to make sure you use plenty of Teflon tape and make sure the downspout collar is flush with the wall before you tighten it. Great looking faucets at a better price point than Delta brand. First off the faucet compared to other brands doesn't allow much room for adjusting for tile thickness. Spent 2 hours shimming the faucet to fit the specs of the tile only to find it leaks because the spout doesn't get tight enough. For those reviews saying its perfect or it doesnt leak, trust me it leaks and most people dont know it because it's in the wall after they're done with the construction so they can't see it. The design ion this faucet is setup so that the pressure from the wall will keep the spout just tight enough not to leak but that is a very poor design concept because if you don't have a tile wall, there isn't enough pressure to stop the leak.
