Located just north of Porto Montenegro, One is a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant and bar offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy delicious food and drinks. With splendid octopus and fish dishes on the menu, it's a great choice for those looking to unwind over beer and pizza. The restaurant also offers an authentic Lebanese dining experience with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine in a calm setting. Best coffee in Tivat and very reasonably priced. The food was a little bit more pricey but worth it. And the staff was super helpful and friendly. Would love to go here again! Thursday evening, absolutely no guests in the restaurant only one couple in the corner. Cool, I decided to stay anyway to try the kitchen. Expected a more visually appealing arrangement of food on the plate, the taste was good but nothing special. The waiter seemed not to be very friendly, quite ignorant and we waited some time to pay the bill. The place is really nice, especially in the evening sitting outside but the food quality is average. The presentation of the food is also below the standard. However, the service was great and we felt really great there so I will hope they just had a bad day in the kitchen. Wonderful restaurant. Right on the the Marina. Food was delicious. Beef stroganoff, with chips all gluten free. Husband had lamb shank, also delicious. Server, sadly did not get his name, Was polite, kind and a good sense of humour. Thank you. Will return soon. A great place for breakfast. The food is very nice. Waiters are slow and have a lack of customer approach. But still nice place to start a day. Very nice place in the most poshy place in Montenegro. The food was excellent and staff was very polite and fast. Thank you One. Fine dinning restaurant. One need to book a table in the outside area for a dinner during warm days. Original main dishes of local cuisine. Lot of seafood options. We just had a fantastic meal at One. The tuna tartare was absolutely fresh and tasty. My medium-rare steak was perfect - the menu described it as tenderloin, but I would call it eye-fillet in Australia. The staff were attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was great and it seemed that the patrons were regulars. We spent the evening in Porto Montenegro. Walked around the port and the shopping streets. We decided to eat something at a restaurant with a nice view. ONE was our choice. The service was excellent, the entire staff was very nice with us. The food was fresh and tasteful. It's more pricy than the rest of Montenegro's restaurant we've been to but nothing extravagant. I would recommend this restaurant. A place with a beautiful ambiance and delicious food. It gets even prettier during sunset. Duck drumstick was soft and juicy on the inside, but crispy on the outside. Kind and friendly service. Good service and food. Great food. Grilled octopus with polenta is the best I've tried. Good service. Relatively pricey, but worth it. I've had the pleasure of experiencing this restaurant a few times and I have never been disappointed. The service is very professional and the atmosphere is great. They have lovely outside fire warmers and can also provide blankets. They have a great cocktail and wine menu - their red wines are very tasty. One restaurant is next to the water. We enjoyed the beautiful view and nice weather. We had octopus salad, One burger, and traditional risotto. Everything tasted great. The salad is on the sweet side I wish it was a little sour though. The servers were nice and professional. Clean restroom. It's a nice place to spend time with friends and family. Spot on food! We had the steak and the stroganoff. Cant go wrong. The only place ive been in Montenegro so far where the service was efficient. We had breakfast there. The service and atmosphere were impeccable and the food as well. The prices weren't as high as you would expect them to be. My family and I went to One on our summer trip to Montenegro. We all had amazing food, unbelievable service, and a fun atmosphere. Our server Egor was outstanding. So welcoming and kind. He truly made our experience so much better! Beautiful ambience and seating, indoors and outdoors. Overlooking the marina with a beautiful view of yachts. Excellent and friendly service. Various food items. We mainly ordered seafood items which were very good and tasty. The Tuna tartar was excellent; presentation and taste. The fried calamari was good. The Tuna carpaccio was over salty. Our main was the sea bream with black rice which was excellent. The dessert was also very good. A wonderful setting in a central location in the marina. The cuisine and the menu are magnificent. And the service is like a 5 star hotel. We were there last night. There was a cocktail and drink menu on the table, and we sat down because we liked the place. We told the waiter we wanted two cocktails. When we said that we would not order food, he rudely said that they were just a restaurant and asked, 'Didn't you see the plates on the table? We did not like this behavior at all. Also, the other tables had people only drinking alcohol. If we hadn't placed the order, we would have left. They should be more polite. We also did not like the cocktails. Overrated, food was ok and overpriced, you get the views of the boats in marina. They kept asking for tips. I have been coming here regularly with my family for 1 year. We had different types of drinks and food. They were all on point! Absolutely amazing restaurant in Porto Montenegro. The food was delicious, the staff were professional and the atmosphere was excellent. I was in this restaurant two times and I will surely come back again! Amazing atmosphere with excellent choice of food and drinks. Service was great, detailed and definitely up to standards. Our server Mihajlo was top notch! Definitely worth coming! The food was good. We had tuna tartar, excellent. The burger - very average. Steak with pepper sauce - good. BUT the service was nonexistent, very poor. We were recommended a local wine and a special feature was that it is kept under water. For the rest of the evening we poured our own wine because nobody cared. The main course was dropped on the table without cutlery. Then I had to ask someone else for a steak knife. The service was terrible, but at the end when we tried to get out of there we were asked for a tip. Serving course is urgently required! Mentioned on 1 list. BBQ Tanjga is a family-run establishment that specializes in meat. The mixed meat plate is massive and worth its price of EURO Customers say the food is delicious, with great customer service as well. There's also outdoor seating, wheelchair access and free wifi. Fresh ingredients, homemade sauce, fair price, made by order, serve it hot! Many hospitality places in the town are not so hospitable, but this lady greeted me with her smile even though she can only spoke very little English, I felt so warm. Thank you so much! Highly recommended! This place is awesome. The meat is so good and Boris is a very personable character. He helped us picked out our meals and talked to us about geography. Prices are cheap for the large portions. We enjoyed the shady atmosphere out back. By far the best deal in all of kotor, if you do not try this place you are really missing out. They have a wide range of meats but I went with the sausages on their delicious breast and it was fantastic. I saw some people getting their premium steak and I was jealous to say the least, what a great spot! Extremely big portions and delicious well-cooked bbq! We had a big plate and 3 burgers to share as 6 people and again we were too full in the end. My personal favorite is their burger. They have good wine options too. Backyard sitting area is pleasant. By the way, locals eat here and love it too. We ordered a Filipino plate photo provided below. The meat was honestly good! It was juicy and tender, you can actually taste the spices. Fairly priced for the serving. This IS hands down the best meat joint in Kotor. The portions are generous, the meat is incredible and the accompaniments are delicious too.. This place is the real deal! Super friendly staff and an authentic grill house feel. Tables round the back are the best place to devour the amazing food. Come hungry though - the portions are huge! The rotisserie chicken and potatoes that slowly bubble away under the juices are the stuff of legend. Came here twice and would go again and again. A must do in Kotor. What a great experience. This is one of my favorite places in the world! This place is extremely popular for a reason. Meat is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The owner is very friendly and accommodating to customers. He is very entertaining to watch. Somehow he is able to remember every order. Best to come outside of cruise ships, but even with a long line, the wait is well worth it. I convinced my sailing companions to come here, a 2 day detour. They absolutely loved it! A true jewel of Kotor. We ate here every day. Kotor is beautiful, but I now come here only for this place. Don't miss it!!! A very popular place. I really recommend you to experience this! Never again. Totally overrated and the food is average. Go to a place inside old town near by, same price better service and food is the same. We had to wait around 30 min to order and then waited over an hour for our food.. The hygiene is a bit questionable as you order by the counter where all the raw meat is put and cooked similar to a butchery and the same guy placing your meat on a platter goes around tending the rotisserie, serving plates, handling drinks and money. It wasn't worth our time. Best grill in Kotor. Short walk from the old town entrance and absolutely delicious. The place is fast paced but gets everything right. The food is fresh, marinated to perfection and really delicious. If you're looking for a grilled style meal this is the spot. Portions are large which is great and the price is definitely low for what I'd expect with this quality and quantity. Highly recommend! This is heaven for meat lovers. Don't expect a fancy place but what you can expect is fresh and perfectly grilled meat. They offer Balkan classics like Cevapi etc. For Kotor it is a very fair price level and the portions are generous so come here really hungry. The owner is a really funny guy and the staff was also very friendly. We left very happy and replete. The place has been unnecessarily exaggerated by Turks. Those who have never eaten meat in their own country come here and excessively praise the taste of the meat. Their products are not bad, quite good, but not to the extent of being exaggerated. The flavors are quite normal. Standard meat. The sauces and salads on the plate are very good, and the prices are quite reasonable when considered on a portion basis compared to many places. Very friendly, there is an English menu and some staff speak very good English.. We ordered the ribeye steak and it was good. They also offered us some sauces to try and I love their sour cream and the orange sauce with cheese I think.. We even bought another rossitterie chicken as takeout as well.. The chicken was seasoned nicely and very tender! Great place. I recommend it to everyone. Boss very helpful. He will advise. You can see that I will show you every piece of meat. Full of smiles and humor. Everything fresh. Please be careful when ordering! Something that is described on the menu as for one person is easily enough for two! Prices very affordable. Sometimes you have to wait but it's worth it. If I am in the Kotor Bay area, I will definitely come back here. The place is usually busy at midday, but I guess this is due to its popularity. We ate here 4 times during our stay in Kotor. The prices are very reasonable considering the portions and quality of the meal! I recommend the pork sandwich, the rib eye steak and the mixed grill! Brilliant food. Taste so good, huge portions. Had to take half of mine for takeaway. And prices are astonishing, just 8. Had to wait a little bit, because they had loads of orders as it was sunday. But I recommend anyway! We have been to BBQ Tanjga twice and our visits were sprinkled with extremely tasty grilled dishes, which are managed in this place without a long wait. In one sentence: very large portions, very good prices and ridiculed food. This place is nothing short of superb. The quality and size - Wow. I have been numerous times and every time has been a treat. The salads that go with all the meals are amazing also. The staff manage what at times is an extremely busy place extremely well. I was fortunate to go in the quieter months as well. Busy, small place but good food and large portions. You pick the meat and they build the whole plate for you with fries, veggies and two types of dips. Highly recommended. Definitely a local gem. Excellent place for carnivores! Specialises in grilled meats with a large selection of fresh cuts. Prices are very reasonable. We shared the mixed meat platter served with red cabbage, sauerkraut, sauces, pickles etc. Strategic location. Great vibes. Long queues can be expected at peak hours. There is a lot of selection of beef meat and pork meat with very reasonable priced. The cashier was friendly, and they accept card! The place is the worst nightmare for a vegan, I am a vegetarian when at home, but it would be a sin not to try some local national dishes right? Best restaurant in town. We went there twice even in our short stay in Kotor. The portions are huge. We got one mixed meat plate and it was pretty enough for two adults. I had the absolute honour of finding and eating at BBQ Tanja. Boris and his hospitality blew my mind. His food was the best food I ate during my 4 week trip in Europe. The bread!!!! The meat!!!! The sides!!!! This meal and experience made me cry happy tears. Come to Australia and make me more!!! PS: I washed the shirt :. If it's busy you are gonna have to wait This is amazing food. Flavor off the charts. Hustle atmosphere! You can even leave your own mark on the walls! Very generous portions of meat grilled to order, with fries and a variety of salads on the side. Everything was fresh and flavourful. They operate on an honour system for drinks, you can pay in advance when you order food or pay for them when you leave, all the drinks are in fridges on the back terrace where you eat and you just help yourself. Lovely food and the service was quick. It was a large portion and had a tasty array of meats to choose from. There was also fries and salad to go along with it that were perfectly seasoned and fresh. Would definitely recommend it to anyone around the port or nearby. We Absolutely loved our food here!!! The owner and family was exceptionally nice!!!! Incredibly large portion sizes. Great atmosphere especially in the outdoor garden in the rear. Staff are friendly but service a bit slow as they're so busy. Best meal in Kotor hands down. Bit of a wait, about 40mins for food, but worth it. Need to line up to order, then find a table to sit and wait. Definitely worth lining up for. Great value and good array of meats. We went at around pm with no wait for a table but it was incredibly warm. We did wait a very long time for food but honestly it was really busy and all the food is cooked fresh so we didn't mind. The quality was fantastic and more than enough food. The staff were a wonderful bunch of people. Happy, smiling, a bit of banter, they didn't stop working. This was the best service and atmosphere experienced so far in Montenegro. They have a tips jar on the counter and we were definitely sure to leave money in it. They deserve every penny. I noticed that this place was recommended by several people and had a very large wait when we first called in. Fantastic sausage, pork, chicken and beef all cooked fresh when ordering. To be honest, it was worth the trip to Kotor just for this meal! Everything was so delicious we were sad we had not been twice and it will be the first place we go to when we return to Montenegro. Great service from brilliant staff made the whole experience a treat. Best place in Kotor! Amazing food and the staff is super friendly. The meat is amazing and the Kotor cake too. Portions are huge and delicious! We went back a second time during our 3 day trip. We got the burger and the XL meat platter and it was too much for the two of us. The food was superb and the staff gave informative info on the food when ordering. The atmosphere of the restaurant can be a bit claustrophobic or chaotic for some when waiting in line. However, the overall experience was great and quite unique. Fantastic steak and amazing staff. They guided us on what is best for us and were right. The meat was fabulous and so nicely done! Very good prices as well. Still - we came during peak and waited only 30 mins - amazing service!! BBQ Tanjga exceeded all expectations, providing an unforgettable dining experience that stands out as the best in my Montenegro journey. From the moment we walked in, the staff displayed exceptional warmth, making us feel not just like patrons but like cherished guests. What sets BBQ Tanjga apart is their keen understanding of diverse palates. They not only recognized our Indian background but also catered to our spice preferences flawlessly. The culinary journey was a delightful exploration of flavors, showcasing their commitment to authenticity and quality. The welcoming and friendly atmosphere, coupled with genuine warmth from the staff, made this dining experience truly remarkable. Moreover, considering the high quality of service and the culinary excellence, the pricing was surprisingly reasonable. BBQ Tanjga is a gem in Montenegro, offering a taste of home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. It's undoubtedly the best in the country, and I look forward to returning to savor their delicious offerings again. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. At first glance the establishment might seem off-putting. They offer lots of great choices, whether single dishes or sets. We visited the places four times and tried them all. The place is usually overcrowded, but be patient, it is worth it. There are tables in the back, outside, where you can sit. First of all, I would like to note that this place is extremely popular, but at the same time, there is not enough space to accommodate everyone. We had to wait for about half an hour for a table to become available, and we had to wait about the same amount of time to place our order. But it was worth it; the meat is very tasty and is served with a very delicious sauce. By the way, the selection of meat is huge, and you can specify which piece you want to be cooked. Fabulous quick-eat. We, the family of four had a fabulous meal of rotisserie chicken, chips a fabulous fresh salad, and drinks. I can't recommend the place enough, delicious and inexpensive. Friendly smiles, menu with photos to order. Grilled to perfection. Been there twice. Both experiences and food is exceptional. The food is just too good, the meat is fresh, the salads and veggie is fresh. The staff is amazing, what more can you ask for on a holiday. A genuinely great place to eat. Different types of platters and buns and sandwiches. Must eat here if in Kotor. Most awesome Meat Palace. The owner and his right hand man were friendly, happy, English speaking cool guys. The place was packed, people inside and people outside in line. The meat was so tender. Excellent grille meat! Ordering and waiting system a bit chaotic as very well know in town, many customers and only few tables on rotation. You can choose a bigger or smaller portion of steak. Comes with fries and a little garnish on the side. They didnt have any bread it would have been great to have that on the side. The taste was perfect. Also you can choose what you want to add into the hamburger. It was pretty big, so don't worry you'll be full after a hamburger. The waitresses were so nice and one of them knows Turkish as well. I'll definitely be there when I visit Kotor again. Good meat for a good price. The concept is a little different from a typical restaurant. You have to order, grab a table and then pick your food. The staff seems unfriendly at first glance but their are nice. Dinner was on point. Order up front, help yourself out back with drinks. Trust me it works. Food was wonderful, even better on the price. I will come back. Don't worry about salad it's included with the meal.. I did enjoy the grilled vegetables plate as well. Was so good, we had dinner here both nights in Kotor. Service sizes are very big. First night shared the XL platter and a small T-bone stake and second night was burger and large Rib eye steak with the bone. The steaks were cooked perfect each time. First night we got table out side without waiting. Second night waited about 5minutes after order for a table to come free. A must visit if in Kotor. Need a place to stay? Where Search destinations. Rooms, guests. Rooms and guests. Juice shop. Show 2 more. Resto Bar Tarca is a great place to go for a healthier or more relaxing meal outside of the walls of the old town. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and speak perfect English. They have an excellent range of vegan dishes, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a good vegan option in Kotor. Very vegetarian and vegan friendly!! We ate here twice during our stay in Kotor. Stuff is friendly and speaks perfect English. It's just outside the oldtown on a cozy spot along the water. Retro decoration inside looks great! Place is nice, chill vibes right behind the old town. Staff are good and so is the ambiance. But this review is solely based on their Asian food. The canned Coke Zero was good though, right amount of gas :. When we came in the guy behind the bar just stared at us without saying anything, what a warm welcome! Luckily the other waiter was very polite and the food was delicious. I got to say that on our 9 day trip in Montenegro we had our best meal here. And we tried a lot of restaurants, from traditional to international, fine dining and other nonsense. The location is really cozy; we had a table by the river. Finally, the food was really tasty and the portion size spot-on. Good job! Really liked this place! A cute place that feels like where the locals go to hang out. We wanted the vegan burger that sounded amazing but they were out. Makes sense. The curry was different and non-traditional trashing. I loved eating out of a frying pan. A different take in a Thai curry. Would return. Good vegetarian options and great location outside of the Old Kotor city walls. Enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. The Buddha bowl was very good and refreshing. Although, it is bit expensive for Montenegro and for a vegetarian dish with veggies and tofu. Nice restaurant in the center of the city. Atmosphere is great and prices are alright! Food quality is really good with some great vegetarian options. Service was a bit slow 45min but I guess it might happens sometimes and not a big deal to me! Delicious falafels with fresh salad and home made crispy bread. Wonderful ambience with relaxing music and views to the fortress at night. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Visit there at night is a romantic theme, good for a couple dinner! And I had vegetable lasagna, it was good, but tasted like it's not lasagna.. I couldn't really taste it.. Hospitality was fine too. Very nice place near the river. Seems all dishes are great, I did enjoy burger and chicken staff a few times. Food was completely average, I would give 4 but my girlfriend had something in her burger that looked like gravel the waiter said it was cartilage, which was not true and which would have been even worse as the burger was vegan. We got a cake on the house as compensation which was very nice. Went there 2 times of my staying so far, quesadilla was a wrap, the fillings of hummus sandwich was not a tasty combination, dry hummus with whole chickpeas with toasted bread, dry, dry dry. And corn chips were in crumble pieces like eating leftovers. It happened twice, looks very sad :. We were there almost every day during our stay in Kotor - that's because the food was amazing! We tried various dishes for every meal and were never disappointed. The breakfast Quesadilla was my personal highlight but also the meat dishes and the vegetarian options are yummy! Staff is friendly but when it's busy it can take some time to order. The prices are very reasonable and food was always freshly made. The portions are big enough and the taste of every meal we tried was delicious. We highly recommend going there - it's very near to the Old Town, lovely located at the little stream and the view of the ruins are a bonus whilst waiting for your food to arrive! We had breakfast at the Taraka restaurant. It was very delicious. Also, we had some fresh juice that was very good. The waiters are very friendly. Probably my best experience in Montenegro. Food was cured and served once made, so it doesn't come as fast since it's homemade. Everything is fresh and tastes local. The service was familiar and they made an effort to make us feel like home. I think this is what you want to feel when you travel abroad. The breakfast here is amazing, with yummy avocado toast and local breakfast plate. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Freshly squeezed juices and great coffee. Chill music and excellent service. Very good place with amazing view for a mountains and water. I appreciate there is separated place for non-smokers as smoking is disgusting for me. Big portions, they add meat very fairly and it was tasty. Service was very nice. I recommend and will come back for sure. Probably the best spot to have a dinner in Kotor This city is really bad in terms of restaurants, so this place is a true gem. The food served here is a mixture of every possible cuisine imaginable, which is weird. Tasty food, big portions, quick service. The only downside is that there is a lot of smoke in the premises, so your clothes may get smelly after a visit here. This was a nice place to come for dinner. At the same time, you are just a short walk away from the centre. The terrace was lovely and peaceful with a nice view of the river and the mountain, as well as a nice ambience due to the lighting and music. The staff were very warm with us and the food was good. Pretty good value too. My croissant was warm, flakey and delicious. The fresh squeezed fruit juice was fabulous. Service was prompt, efficient and helpful. Adequate serving size at a decent although tourist price. Located outside the Old City River Gate. Menus are available in English. We ate there twice. The first time we were able to use our credit card. The second time it would appear that the entire Old City was experiencing difficulties processing credit cards. So it was necessary to pay in cash. Visited in the evening. Lovely setting out on the terrace and our server, she was very efficient and welcoming. The hospitality here less brusque than what we have experienced elsewhere in Kotor. A broad menu that will appeal to some more than others, with some of the more exciting dishes in a higher price range, particularly the beef ones cira 22e. We particularly enjoyed the homemade burger - really good quality 12e. Good selection of cocktails and wine at prices that seem aligned with the rest of the area. This is a really solid vegan burger with lots of flavour and veggies! The ambience is nice and they have AC during the day. Delicious food, interesting menu, very nice and fun service, amazing interior. Ambiance: Restobar Taraca offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both locals and tourists. The interior is air-conditioned, providing a much-needed respite from the summer heat. Food: The food at Restobar Taraca is exceptional. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone. Portions are generous, making it a great place for those with a hearty appetite. Service: The service is excellent. Staff members are friendly, attentive, and efficient, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Overall: Restobar Taraca is a must-visit when in Kotor. Its prime location, delicious food, and outstanding service make it a standout choice for dining near the old city. Whether you're seeking a cool indoor retreat or a place to enjoy a substantial meal, this restaurant has you covered. Delightful atmosphere, excellent service. Really tasty and something totally different than regular breakfast food. Best food, best service and best value in Kotor, although just outside the old town town, near the north gate. We ate there 4 times during our stay, as we loved it so much. I think we'd have liked anything on the menu, which was extensive and catering for meat eaters as well as plenty for veggies and vegans. We ate here twice on a recent visit to Kotor. The burgers were amazing. I also had the falafel plate and it was fantastic too. The air conditioning was a welcome respite from outside. Definitely not the place to go for traditional Montenegrin fare, but everything we tasted was enjoyable. Kids got a huge kick out of the gloves that came with the burgers due to the sauciness of said burgers. My friend and I visited here twice during our stay in Kotor. It was so nice to find somewhere with a good range of vegan options. We first had breakfast here and both ordered the scrambled tofu on toast. The portion size was a little small, although it was lovely. For dinner, I ordered the teriyaki tofu and my friend had the balance bowl. Both were great portion sizes and were absolutely delicious. The food was well prepared and very delicious. The food is also very affordable, definitely recommended. They accept card payments which is very convenient for tourists. Great restaurant, 5 min away from the old city and off the beaten track of the tourist traps. Tasty fresh food with many options and with fair prices. My only comment is that people smoke instead it's a terrace but it's closed so it's basically inside which means you eat with the aroma of cigarettes. We visited there for launch and dinner. In both food was excellent. We took vegetarian dishes mainly. The Falafel and veggie burger as well as Lasagna were very tasteful. Smoothies with blueberries was great. The vegetrian rolls were ok. The brownie dessert was great. We enjoyed a lot. Service was very kind even though at dinner time we waited for long time. Still we highly enjoyed and recommend this place. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, the food was superb. In particular, the Falafel dish stood out as a highlight. The combination of flavors and the presentation of all the dishes were truly outstanding. While the service was a bit on the slow side, the overall experience was highly recommendable. The quality-to-price ratio is quite favorable, making this restaurant a great choice for those looking for a delightful culinary adventure. This is such a gem! Vegan oasis in an area with only meat and fish. We require both vegan and gluten free options — always difficult to find both. Our server was super friendly, knowledgeable and helped with our selections. Bonus is I had a zero alcohol Mojito — very refreshing in the heat. Highly recommend the Taraca rolls — the garlicky sauce was so good! Please support his business! A great place for vegans - they have quite a few options, and with a good variety! The Popeye's pasta was delicious! The quesadilla was more of a burrito. Would have enjoyed it more if there were some beans. It was just mostly veggies and cheese. But the potato wedges that came with it were really good. Excellent food! One of the best spots in Kotor. Service was good and a nice atmosphere with antiques and lovely photos. Toilet could be better kept but was a lovely meal! Great food! Ordered the chicken curry , quesadillas and nachos. Good portion size and Loads of chicken. Quite a shame about this place. Really good menu and when we first arrived the atmosphere was nice with a view over the river. The espresso martini was delicious, had the hummus for starter which was nice but then the main was very disappointing and left me and my friend not feeling very well. Very beautiful place. The food is very good, a little bit pricey in my opinion but good. It's near a small river with ducks. Its very cool and a very good place for breakfast. Went for dinner. Food was lovely! Prices were average and nice atmosphere. It takes a while for your food to come but would recommend especially for vegetarians! Our waiter Pedrag was friendly!! Delicious food and great atmosphere. Many vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options as well as meaty meals — even a vegan gluten-free burger is no problem! Pizza restaurant. The pizzas are delicious and big, perfect for food on the go. Truly the best pizza in town, and one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Absolutely delicious, pretty much all of them. Also there's option for takeaway. Fantastic pizza by the slice at a very reasonable price. At night there is a line up to get a slice which means all the pizza is super fresh and hot. By international standards the pizza is on par with an average pizza but compared to other local choices it's very good. Tried the pizza at Pronto during my recent visit to Montenegro. Decent value for money. Good food. Everything is freshly made. The portion size is also reasonable. Would recommend tourists to try this spot for a quick bite for sure! We had a whole margherita pizza for 8. It is big enough for a hungry couple. We ordered an extra vegetarian pizza as take away which was 9. The wifi inside the place is free and the connection was good. Good pizza. Service is pretty fast. They have wifi. Can only pay in cash and they tell you this after you already ordered. They have ketchup instead of tomato sauce. Staff is not too friendly :S. The 'Kotor Pizza Slice' is what I'd call this. You're on the move, need a quick bite and want something 'relatively' cheap and cheerful. This is where you go. They're super busy and take-away only, but it's really nice that you can see the pizza being prepared and made right in front of you. The crust was crispy and the sauce was as you'd expect. My only critique is that it the sauce was on the blander side. Would be nice to have some more seasoning in there. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend if you want something to have on the go in the Old Town. Pizzeria Pronto in Kotor, Montenegro, nestled within the old town, offered a mixed dining experience. While the pizzas, particularly the Diavola and Capricciosa, were undeniably delicious, the service left much to be desired. The gentleman taking orders displayed a hint of rudeness and arrogance, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the tight quarters for ordering and dining can be somewhat uncomfortable. Pizzeria Pronto's food quality is praiseworthy, but the service and cramped space are aspects that require improvement, resulting in a somewhat mixed review. Their menu proudly says 'best pizza in town' and its a pretty decent pizza Great place, great food, great sizes. Lets start with the dough, the dough is very nicely done, it is chewy enough and crunchy where it should be, it has that sweet taste of salt and lets not kid each other the water of Montengro is delicious so it adds to the fantastic flavor of this dough. Ll of the ingredients are simple but fresh, and they add quite a lot to the pizzas. They have carefully mastered the art of dough-sauce-cheese ratio. If you are lucky enough to get to see the owner eveb though he is a serious man has that aura that makes you comfortable. The place is quite cozy. This itself diserves more than 5 stars, and just to top it off there are ketchup and sauces for those who want to disgrace their fantastic pizza with those. You have to come if you are ever in Kotor. The best pizza in town. Pretty delicious. Freshly made pizzas right in front of you , it was super fresh, however the takeaway has only two options one vegetarian and one with meat. Overall a good value for money to get a slice while you wander around the streets of kotor. It's really really awesome. You feel like eating art. But If you eat inside they take kuver serve 1 Euro for each person. The prices change euros. You can take away a slice. This place is really really crowded. We were very lucky to find a table for two on a Sunday night. We had two from their list of special pizzas. The one with ham and sour cream was new to us, and quite tasty. I liked the other with beef, rucola and olives. Would definitely go back. And the service, considering it was just one man waiting tables, was excellent. Be warned they only have small bottles of water, limited non pizza options this is implied in the name , and only one kind of wine which they serve by the glass. Pizza s are tasty. Service is avg, they can be more smiley. There s also slice selling for 3 euro. Our experience at Pronto Pizza didn't quite live up to the hype. While the local reviews praised it highly, we found the pizzas to be just average. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was friendly, but we expected more in terms of taste. Overall, I would rate Pronto Pizza a 3 out of 5. The food was satisfactory, but it wasn't as exceptional as it was made out to be. Got a takeaway pizza after a long day in the bay. Pizza was freshly cooked, little oil coming from it and pretty good flavour. Lacked pepperoni though. Pizza was tasty, and the waiter was nice. We order 2 pizza for 4 people, and even without asking got 4 plates and cuterly. It's not a rule in many places. Price is reasonable, they add copperto tip to the bill. We were lucky not having to wait for a long time to enter. The pizza was good, but options for non-pork eaters are limited. The space is rather small. Pizza was lacking sauce and cheese, just dry. I can tell if there was enough sauce and cheese the pizza would be pretty good, but it was lacking. The mushroom was the best I tried. Can't beat 3 euro a slice for huge pieces tho! Kotor's best I suppose. It is very delicious. Meat and olives are quite yummy. You can have a slice if you will not sit at the restaurant. But if you wish to make a reservation inside, then you will have to order a whole pizza instead. Pronto is a must. Juat try. It is a big slice. There was no place to sit so I eat it in the street. The taste was good. The staff are very friendly and smiling to people. If you are hungry and you want something for lunch or dinner this the best choice for you. Pizzas sold at this shop, in my opinion, taste better than its competitor that is just a stone's throw away. Highly suggest standing outside the shop and awaiting for a fresh batch to be pulled out of the oven, and getting a slice from there. Fresh and yummy pizza. They have a place to eat and order at the restaurant or you can take a huge slice and enjoy it while walking in Kotor old city. During the winter season it was quite difficult to find a place to get food and Pizza Pronto was one of the few possibilities. The place is cozy, a lil bit small but we were able to sit. Pizza was delicious, there was only one waiter, but it was Still so fast i was quite surprised. Sandwich bread and pizza dough were chewy and crispy without being tough. Pizza was topped with a lot of cheese and the combination of ingredients was good. The inside of the store remained the same as it was, and it looked good. The best pizzeria in Kotor! Definitely must try when you go to Old Town Kotor. They have a restaurant as well if you fancy eating a whole pizza. To be honest I don't understand why is this place so famous. Probably because of the price. It is not bad but not the best either, had better ones in Istanbul. Overall, you can try. Best pizza slice on the Montenegrin seacost. Located in the narrow street of the Old Town Kotor, these slice costs only 3 euros. Very delicious pizza and crispy dough. Recommendation for this pizzeria, also you have option to dine in or for a slice to take it on the go. I can't imagine this place in the busy season as there was a line up in the dead of winter. This was on our list of pizzas to try while in the Balkans and it did not disappoint. We had the capriciosa and Firienze a tuna melt with pickles and tonates the second one was a surprise and so glad we ordered it. You can also get pizza pieces to go that are the size of a regular pizza. I was staying around here for four nights in this old town and I had a margherita pizza every day! Large pizza sold by the slice. Good option for a cheap, tasty lunch. They give it to you in a cardboard sleeve so easy to eat on the go. The La Catedrale Pasta Bar is an excellent Italian restaurant with great service and short waiting times. The food is fresh and tasty, and the prices are realistic. The pasta can be a bit salty, but overall this restaurant is a great choice. Just had a beautiful lunch with with my love Delicious pasta - a few vegan options. The risotto was lovely. However it was more rice paella style than risotto rice Italian style. Service was great. Lovely place and atmosphere. We went there every other night during our 2 week stay. Totally recommend! Great place to find in Kotor old town. The service was exceptional especially as there was queue of people waiting for tables. We waited for a table in the bar area and got greeted with a lovely chap and the house red wine was really good. The seafood pasta was delicious, tasty and good portion sizes. Price was fair for the service and taste of the food. Would highly recommend. If you come to Kotor, you should definitely eat pasta here. I ate one of the best pastas I've ever had in my life here. The place is very authentic between the street. Even if the tables are full, the turn comes quickly. I had pasta with seafood and i really love it. You would love this cute place. And really nice and polite stuff specially Peter was so helpful and kind to us. Thank you for everything. We went there for 2 days and ate 4 different pastas, all of them were delicious and amazing. Waiters were so gentle and funny especially Peter, he asked our name and provided us a great service. The decoration here is so beautiful, I had spent a nice afternoon here. Frutti di mare pasta is worthy to try. The sauce is so good. Thanks for Uros nice and patient service. Our food was really good, we had the roasted vegetables, vegetarian pasta, with the gluten free option and the three mushroom pasta. The waiters were also very friendly! In three days I was here 4 times! Prices are fair and transparent, Thank you so much! I can recommend this restaurant however with some exceptions. For sure food is fresh and tasty but pasta was too salty and there could be more shrimps in the risotto. Service and waiting time for dishes were fine Interesting connection of wine and Coca-Cola. So yummy I came here earlier on just for a beer A fantastic place. The best place I have been to in Kotor. Delicious food I tried pasta and good wine. Italian atmosphere. The service deserves praise. The waiter is a polyglot. In fact, you can speak to him in Polish. Nice, polite. The service does the vibe, you feel good about the place. Prices like everywhere around. Possibility to pay by card. If I'm in the city again I'll go back there for sure. One of my favourite places to eat In Montenegro. Amazing authentic Italian food. Great atmosphere , wonderful service. The food was fresh , and totally delicious! Would definitely recommend. A huge selection of pasta. An excellent combination of flavors. Large and hearty portions. Nice staff. Good music and location. The waiter speaks 7 languages. Great starters and pasta, lovely place, there is a que in the evening but they have waiting tables. Super nice. Incredible food in a perfect setting. Highly recommend. A must do when you are in Kotor for sure. Beautiful restaurant with tasty pasta! I tried pesto pasta and it was really nice and filling. My husband ate the 4 cheeses pasta and loved it! The waiter was so nice and helpful. Pasta excellent, service excellent, waiting time short, communication with staff strait and presice to choose type of pasta and at the same time, very intelligent and jokes accepted communication. Prices are realistic and normal. We had a great meetup tonight, 6 people traveling through the country or new Expats in the area, all met for the first time. Food and drinks were delicious and the staff was top notch. Speedy and friendly service, excellent food, absolutely perfect. I had the Pollo Pesto and it's one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Creamy but not heavy sauce and the pasta cooked to perfection. Add to that the very friendly waiter and the outstanding service and this must be about the best restaurant in Kotor. I had the best meal in Kotor. I tried shrimp pasta and it was delicious. Petar recommend it for me and it was great. I believe they have the best pasta in Montenegro. Petar is the best he helped me to choose and brought for me more cheese and he was very welcoming and smiling. I will come back to try more options. Everything about this restaurant is 5 Star. Firstly, the waiter Uros. A true skill. Uros said come back 20minute, we did and he immediately gave us the table. Best restaurant in Kotor and order the large house red because you will not be able to stop drinking it! Been here for breakfast as this restaurant was famous and also recommended by locals. I didn't try the pasta but only breakfast was good enough. I ordered a cheese omelette and it was perfectly cooked and yummy. I came for dinner the day before but there were so long queues. That's why I didn't try pasta. So recommended to book before you go. Literally amazing. We had plans to eat here one night and somewhere else the next night. If you want to eat here in the evening you should arrive 30 to 40 minutes before you want to eat, because getting a table is tough. They operate a great system with a queue and the are super fast clearing and seating people. The service is great considering how busy they are constantly. Great wine just say a carafe of white and you will be very happy. You will be presented Local Sauvignon which is ice cold delicate and summery. I have had their local red too merlot and that was a great mouthful too. The service was really good and the waiter taught us some local history and basic phrases which was really fun. Absolutely yummy! My other half and I have tried 6 different pastas here between us, and they have all been delicious! So full of flavour and all very fresh! The staff are rushed off their feet but still super lovely and have time to chat to you if you wish. Couldn't recommend more! Go here! Go now! The place is located in a back alley near the cathedral. We arrived around 6 PM and managed to get one of the last tables. Just half an hour later, there was already a line of about 10 people, which speaks to the restaurant's popularity. The pasta dishes cannot be customized, which I respect a lot because this ensures consistent quality. The shrimp risotto was excellent and perfectly cooked. The gnocchi is also highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and always in a good mood, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The price-performance ratio is very fair for Kotor. Great place and a clear recommendation! Food is delicious and the reviews speak for themselves! Good portion size and fair prices. Best part for me was the service, the waiter was extremely kind and welcoming. They have smaller tables for people waiting to order drinks though which I nice! This place is an absolute hidden gem! The food is sensational- such a large variety of unique and unusual of pasta dishes. And the local cherry pie Balkan recipe was sublime. We had gone for dinner based on recommendation of our friend. Even I can say that pastas were more delicious than that I ate in Italy. A long wait, but it was worth every minute. The food was fantastic and the staff are superb. They handled my nut allergy very professionally and I felt completely at ease. A must visit in Kotor. We visited twice during our week stay here. The pasta is exceptional and is a must try when visiting the old town. Also large portions at great prices. My recommendation would be the Pistachio and Prosciutto pasta. His passion for what he does really shows and the service was exceptional. He made us feel like his friends and made great recommendations. La catedral Gnocchi, beef, in a brown gravy, it was fabulous. Uros was so fun and an excellent waiter. This place is so cute very dynamic and the smells were unbelievable. I got to meet the kitchen staff and everybody was so friendly and they put amazing food. The place is cute, charming clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I can't get enough of this charming restaurant and cafe. It's a haven of deliciousness with a menu that caters to every palate. Plus, the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. Everything was great. Especially our waiter who can speak a little bit Turkish. Our favorite - Pollo pasta - La catadrel - aperol sprtz - hugo aperol. The food here was just excellent with all fresh ingredients. I had the 3 mushroom pasta and it was so simple and good. My wife had the Pomodoro with shrimp and absolutely loved it. You have to try the Burrata salad, so good and fresh. If you come to Montenegro, you definitely have to stop and try this place. Great little restaurant, service was quite slow but it was very busy. The portions are huge and the quality is excellent, fresh and tasty! The blue cheese and the squid ink Gnocchi were both delicious, very rich and high quality ingredients. Reasonably priced and nice courtyard setting. Definitely one of the best restaurants in old town and worth a visit. A lovely place for a delicious dinner. We were a group of two and both enjoyed pasta and a beer. There was a great selection of pasta and drinks. We arrived just after 6pm and were seated instantly. I would recommend getting there a little earlier than planned as when we left there was a queue of around 20 people. They must have all heard about the super pasta. Certainly not a hidden gem, but definitely a fantastic tip! We were greeted super nicely which isn't always the case, since September marks the end of the season and many in the hospitality industry have lost their enthusiasm. I asked for a water bowl for our Amstaff female dog, but that turned out to be unnecessary. As soon as he greeted us, he immediately ordered a water bowl for Kali. Why do I mention this specifically? Because it's not a given here in Montenegro! We ordered bruschetta see photo. For the main course, we had tagliatelle with seafood and another with shrimp. Amazing, very delicious! You can taste the freshly homemade pasta and the fresh fish. We highly recommend this restaurant along with its humorous staff! Okay, the food was very good. However, my friend and I woke up with food poisoning in the middle of the night. This is the only place we had eaten yesterday during our travels and we have been drinking bottled water for the duration of our trip. We KNOW this food is the cause of our sickness. Please take precautions when eating at this restaurant. Good but nothing special. Decent food but slightly above average. Additionally, a service charge is additionally payed, to price in the menue you pay extra money for service. My stomach hurt after the pasta but maybe it was not related to the food. On the plus side, a very nice restaurant with beautiful decorations. Amazing pasta place in Kotor Old Town. Just be aware lemunada is not a real lemonade just a mixture of lemon-juice and water, a sour drink with no sugar. The staff was kind and take good care of the customers. Definitely recommended. BEST pasta restaurant in Kotor! Handmade pasta, so many options, fantastic local wine too. Not pushy, you can spend your time drinking and chatting. The best Italian food near you if you are in Kotor. We were served by Denis, a very happy and cheerful lad who recommended us the best dessert they had. It was an apple pie kind of dessert baked in a wrap it was really yum. The avocado pasta was crunchy with walnuts. The truffles pasta was also good. They serve you extra cheese if you ask. The highlight of our experience was the person who served us. He spoke to us in broken Malayalam and tamil and even offered to take couple of photos for us. We were quite surprised to experience such a warm feeling in a small country like Montenegro. They have limited seating and please carry a jacket if you are going pre-season. They do have heaters but it's still cold. We found La Catedral Pasta Bar by chance. We ordered the Trapenese pasta and the Pesto pasta; both were very good and tasty. Despite the small, busy kitchen, the food took a long time to arrive, and we were quite hungry. Nonetheless, the food was delicious, and the servers were very polite, providing great service. If you're visiting Kotor Old Town, I recommend this place for a unique pasta experience. What an absolute gem in Kotor! La Catedral Pasta Bar completely blew me away, not just with the food but with the whole experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a lovely buzz that made it perfect for a relaxed evening out. The rustic decor and charming setting really added to the vibe—cosy but with that vibrant Mediterranean feel. The food was out of this world! The local wine, made right here in Kotor, was a wonderful surprise and paired beautifully with the dishes. A special shout-out to one of the waiters, CheeseZ, who was just brilliant. Super friendly and full of recommendations, he made us feel right at home and added to the whole experience. Sidro, situated beyond the Porto Montenegro vicinity, is predominantly a popular eatery among the locals. The menu primarily highlights grilled meats and customary Balkan grilled delicacies at an incredibly affordable cost. The decor is modest, but if one desires flavorsome Montenegrin cuisine along with reasonably priced beverages, Sidro stands out as one of Tivat's top dining establishments to satisfy such cravings. Really tasty food and really good service! Would definitely recommend the chicken breast! So good we came back for round 2! This time I had the pork chops which were also fantastic! I sat down I got myself a English menu, but no one came take the order for good 10 minutes. I ordered kabab 2. Beer is a beer, but French fries were small portion and grease as he'll and so is the sausage shaped kabeb. I was hungry. Look at the photo and you decide. I'll be back with pleasure. Fantastic food, daily menus are amazing. Beautiful, always smiling and positive waitress. To me, Sidro looked like a small Montenegrian food restaurant popular among locals. I liked the location near the sea and decided to try pljeskavica with kaijmak. Unfortunately, we were served later than all local guests that came after us, but I still rate this experience highly, because the meat was delicious for its cheap price! The food is amazing. Stuff very friendly, and they hand out the menu in English if needed. Nice view as well. Very affordable, big portions and tasty meat dishes. Lovely atmosphere and they have an English menu, which is super helpful. Best national culinary restaurant in Tivat! Fresh, delicious, good service. Delicious, English speaking friendly staff , affordable prices, just really good. I've had one of the best burgers in my life. The portion was very big for a really good price. Also you have a beautiful view. I'm a solo traveler and my budget is limited. I feel very lucky finding here! Wait staff spoke some English. Menu in English was not avaliable, but was able to use a translate app to see what things were.
