Verified Purchase. Exactly as described. If I had to complain about anything it would be that it took 7 days to arrive but worth the wait. One person found this helpful. The boards were shipped quickly and in good shape. The instructions could be better, but a quick YouTube search was all the help I needed. They feel plenty sturdy, only time will tell. My only complaint is that one of the brackets connecting the board to the mounting brackets only had one of two bolts threaded. I installed these steps on a Ram , my understanding is that they will also fit The first issue that has been pointed out repeatedly is possible overspray on the mounting bolts provided by RAM in the rocker panel. I will confirm that my truck also had the same issue. Rather than scrub the paint off with a wire brush I opted to use an 8 x 1. This took about 10 minutes to clean the paint off the threads on all 18 bolts. Some have mentioned the instructions are a bit confusing, in all honesty, it was only odd when the left side mounts face forward and the right side mounts face the rear. All mounts are identical so this should not be an issue once you figure that out. I only needed a few tools, a 10mm, and 13mm socket, a 10mm open-ended wrench for securing the boards to the mounts as the inside nut cannot be tightened with a socket so you'll need an open-end wrench and I opted to use my 18v Makita impact tool to drive the nuts onto the bolts in the rocker panel. There is a little adjustment in the board, left to right and forward and back. I opted to line up the Magnus logo exactly with the seam on the B pillar and then pulled them out as far as possible before tightening them down. The one word of wisdom I can impart is to take your time mounting the bar that marries the board and the mounts. I found that it was best to set the board on the mounts and then insert the bolt bar from underneath and loosely tighten one of the bolts to set it in place. If you try to place the bolt bar on the board, it's extremely difficult to line it up. Boards are super nice, the truck needed it, even a stock truck with 18' wheels sits just high enough off the ground that the boards make for getting in and out that much easier. Ordered these for my Big Horn. Packaging could of been better but they survived the trip from Canada! Product shipped in two packages that came two days apart. First package received had the running boards, the hardware package arrived the following day. The boards were packed very well, the hardware could have been packed better as the brackets were scratched in transit. These running boards were installed on a black Ram Crew Cab. These are beautiful well constructed running boards for the price. They are very easy to install on the Ram because the mounting studs are already in place. You MUST clean off the paint overspray on the studs or you risk breaking them. The supplied locknut will seize on the paint if not removed. I am very satisfied with these cab length running boards. It does have the name in red print on the board, which looks ok on my black truck. First of all, the brackets and hardware came in a separate box a day later, which was a little annoying. Secondly, right out of the box the brackets were scraped up and had missing paint, so coating the brackets again at home before installation is recommended. Thirdly, on my Ram the nuts were difficult to thread onto the pre-existing studs because of overspray at the factory. I had to clean the threads with a wire brush and scuffing pad, then apply PB Blaster to help the nuts thread all the way down securely. So, the product wasn't perfect. Having said that, they look good on the truck and they are not slippery. They are also sturdy enough for me at lbs. Time will tell if rust and corrosion becomes an issue. I would recommend them for guys on a budget. They came packaged well with 2 boxes. I installed on a Dodge ram crew cab. My wife is 5'5'' and had to hop in and slide out before. She loves them too. The injected molded material finish matches exactly the truck's flares and tires. I recommend it. There's just one quality issue with it: the metal bar attached to the molded material should be longer, to give extra support on the edges.
