Single purpose. Bundle Rip has one purpose: collect the images, videos, audio files,
documents and archives of the page you are viewing and save them as a single ZIP archive on your device.
It does nothing else and works on no other data.
What Bundle Rip reads and stores
- Page content. When you open the popup and press Download, Bundle Rip reads the file
addresses (images, videos, audio, documents, archives, links) of the active tab. This happens locally
in your browser, only for the tab you asked for, and only while you are using the extension.
- Your settings. File types, maximum file count, maximum archive size, folder name and
the on/off switch are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device.
- Local statistics. The popup keeps a small local history: how many files the last
archives contained, their size, and the last run time. It never leaves your device.
Bundle Rip does not read passwords, form fields, messages, keystrokes, browsing history or the content of
pages you did not ask it to process. It does not create an account and does not use cookies for tracking.
What leaves your device
Nothing is sent to the developer. Bundle Rip has no servers, no analytics, no telemetry and no advertising.
To build an archive, your browser requests the selected files directly from the servers that host them —
the same servers the page itself already uses, over your normal connection. Those requests carry no cookies
from Bundle Rip and no identifier added by Bundle Rip. The resulting ZIP is assembled on your device and
saved through your browser's normal download mechanism.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell, rent, trade or transfer your data to third parties. There are no third-party services,
SDKs, analytics providers or advertising networks in Bundle Rip. Data is not used for purposes unrelated to
the single purpose described above.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Bundle Rip's use of information received from Google APIs and from the pages you process adheres to the
Chrome Web Store User Data Policy,
including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the single purpose
described above; it is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide that purpose, and it is
never used or transferred for personalised advertising, profiling or lending purposes.
Permissions and why they are needed
- activeTab-style access to the page you choose — read the file list of that page.
- <all_urls> — the extension works on any site, because the page you want to archive can be
any site. It is used only when you press Download.
- storage — keep your settings and the local history on your device.
- downloads — save the finished ZIP to your downloads folder.
Retention and deletion
Settings and local statistics stay in your browser until you change them or remove the extension.
Removing Bundle Rip deletes its local storage; ZIP files you saved remain in your downloads folder and are
yours to keep or delete.
Your rights
- Access and portability — open the extension settings to see the stored values; the local
history is visible in the popup.
- Deletion — use “Reset settings” in the extension options to clear settings, or uninstall
the extension to remove all locally stored data.
- Objection and contact — write to the address below with any question or request; we answer
within 30 days.
Children
Bundle Rip is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If the extension's data handling changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes. The current
version always lives at this URL.
