Nathan Carter is trying to solve a real problem, homelessness in America. He has a great idea, offer them a tiny house that they have helped to build. The city is on board, and there is interest in the community. All should be on track for the Tiny Houses Charity to succeed, but there are a few problems. Ghosts. Not your garden variety bump-in-the-night creatures. No, that would be too easy. Nate hires contractor Kiki Pickles, who has a reputation for being able to work on haunted properties, to renovate the Gilded Age mansion on his property. Kiki brings her crew from the Hidden Meadow project, (Cid, Cid Garrett P.I. Series) which includes finishing carpenter Cid Garrett, who hopes that he can rid the property of these violent ghosts before someone gets seriously hurt. But time and ghosts wait for no man. Kiki has disappeared, and Cid finds his back is up against the wall. It’s time to call in the big guns, in this case, an axe-carrying ghost named Murphy. Tiny Houses is the 3rd book of the Cid Garrett P.I. series (a spin-off of Alexie Aaron’s popular Haunted Series).

It was with some relief that I finally had time to sit down with this latest installment of the Cid Garrett series. From previous experience with the earlier books and the Haunted series, I've learned to not start until I have time to also finish, because they are difficult to put down once they are started. As ever, Ms Aaron has done a delightful dance of weaving the characters and their personalities into an interesting and fresh story. The addition of several new characters and relationships have left enough threads that the next edition will prove to be interesting as well. The cross over characters from the Haunted series is just enough to flavor the book, but not so much that any one of them takes over Cid's story. A slight mar might be that the deaths of those who haunt the building are wrapped up quickly, cleanly and in short order with all the principals present who are needed to do it, conveniently at hand - and there was no real feeling of threat that one ax swing could not handle. Overall, a good read and look forward to Book 4.

Another amazing book by Alexie Aaron. She always brings her books to life with her outstanding story telling abilities. Tiny Houses grabs your attention from the beginning and holds you till the end. The characters continue to grow throughout her books and each book it's like visiting with old friends where you continue to learn more about them and love them more. I always seem to find little tidbits of knowledge in every book that makes me feel like I grow as a person.. Without a doubt my favorite author.

I loved TINY HOUSES! In this story, Alexie Aaron has brought together the usual cast of Cid characters, while adding so many more. I really enjoyed the interaction between the PEEPs and Lilly's crew...perhaps we can expect more of the same in the future...? Thanks again, Alexie, for the hours of reading pleasure that I find in all of your books. Alas, I must return to my "reality" ...my dishes are screaming for attention...sigh! I await the arrival of your next book with great anticipation!
Another great book from this author. Her stories are well thought out. I enjoy how Ms. Aaron continues to develop each character and we get to watch them grow. There is just enough of the characters from the main series to further the overall series storyline but this is focused on Cid. I also like that each book stands on its own. Although I definitely recommend you read all the books in both series. You won't be disappointed.

As always, another entertaining read! I like how PEEP's crossovers were handled ... just enough to keep their feet in (and the readers got to say "hi"), all the while showcasing Cid and his construction friends and cohorts. Jesse and Faye are really growing on me! And ... I loved the inclusion of the tiny houses. My hubby and I have been watching all the shows about them on Netflix and Hulu and are intrigued. Love it all!

I have been a fan of Alexie's since the first PEEPS book! I also enjoy this series, and the only reason I gave this one a four is because to me, it started out a bit more slowly than all the others, which to me are five stars! Once this one got off the ground, it was great!

Outstanding! I loved Tiny Houses!! The Cid series is more like the initial Haunted series in that it has a more limited paranormal material. Lots of ghosts and even a few demons is my cup of tea. Don;t get me wrong. ALL of the Haunted series are great stories coupled with excellent writing and an abundance of imagination. I'll follow both series as I have done all along. You can't ask for better reading.

I am telling one and all..... Read everything you can get your eyes on from Alexie Aaron. She is awesome. I love her haunted series and have purchased them all! And now she is expanding One of our favorite heroes Cid is a truly good guy that everyone loves. This series about him is just as great as the haunted series. Thank you Alexie. I appreciate your brilliance! Keep them coming please!

Best in the series so far
I really enjoyed this 3rd book in this series because it captured my passion for helping those in need, such as the homeless. Also the story revolves around building tiny houses in a haunted factory and mansion. Again, I love the concept of tiny houses, so this book hooked me in. Alexie Aaron always manages to keep her storylines fresh and up to date with the current climate. Can't wait for the next book!

A great book by one of my favourite authors
Alexie has, again, written an excellent book. I have read all of her books and love them all. This Cid book #3 is a spin-off of the haunted series with Mia and the Peeps gang yet it has become a series in its own right. Well written, entertaining, with lots of twists and mystery. Highly recommended! Please keep them coming.
