I'm hopelessly attracted to anything related to boxing. I knew from a very early age that I had an odd thing for boxing. I loved the look of the gloves and boxing trunks the pros used on TV. I started to look for boxing equipment in catalogs and in stores that sold any kind of sporting goods. I think the fetish part was introduced when my mom unenthusiastically acknowledged my desires to grow up to be a boxer. From that point onward, I've always gotten aroused at the thought of boxing or sight of boxing equipment. I especially like the gloves. As some people are are sneaker guys, I'm a boxing glove guy. I've learned all about how different designs of gloves are used and what brands are the best for various purposes. My passion has expanded to include women in boxing. I love both staged and competitive foxy boxing as well as full-on competitive women's boxing. The sight of a beautiful young woman dressed up in boxing trunks and boots, sports bra and gloves is for me the most appealing image I can imagine. The paradox that women are supposed to be nurturers and peacemakers doesn't jive with punching each other on purpose. I love it! I get off on watching men's boxing too. Mostly I just love everything about boxing. The training. The fit bodies. The spectacle of blood. The excitement of the crowd. A slightly mismatched fight. Boxing gloves are the center of my fetish, but the whole sport is really arousing to me.

I am not an avid consumer of boxing on TV, never having purchased a PPV. Maybe I’m waiting for that big Spence-Crawford fight that will never happen. But I do like to watch a fight every now and then. There’s a lot to watch for me. The skill, strategy, the conditioning and of course the outfits the fighters wear. The gloves, trunks and groin guards sticking out from under. Mouthguards and boxing boots are of interest to me too, being the gear guy that I am. The COVID pandemic has forced the temporary end of live boxing events since the beginning or March. So I’m watching some old re-run fights on my DVR machine. Over the weekend, I had a chance to watch a fight from January 2020 with Joey Spencer and Brandon Harder. The announcers made much of Harder’s career outside of the ring.
