Not a variable speed screwdriver

Pros: 1. Well built quality 2. Easy to use 3. Compitable with HEX screw bits 4. High speed screwing and unscrewing 5. Torque selector for light work and hard work. Cons: 1. Its not a variable speed screwdriver means it work at fix speed at all time, you cant work in precision mode as many time you would need very slowspeed for unscrewing as with high speed screwdriver just start to slip. 2. The rubberized coating make it difficult to keep it clean as it attract a lots of dust with just one day of use it started to look a year old. 3. The one off switch is too sensitive with just slight touch screwdriver turn on also the pressure level is too low to work. 4. No LED is provided to work in dark 5. As its high speed you cant work precisely. It start to rub the screw and makes it flat. Hence i retured this screwdriver and bought Bosch GSR120 Li, its amazing screwdriver and came with variable speed.

I got tired of using manual screwdrivers ( slow and the effort needed ), so decided to go for an automatic. Main purpose is regular house hold use really. Wanted something that will speed up the odd jobs. This second gen bosch battery powered screwdriver is very comfortable to use. The first gen didnt have a switch to activate ( only by pressure ) and there were many people who wanted this option - so they came out with this new gen model. It just comes with 2 bits - impact rated, i believe ( these kind of bits are not sold in India by Bosch, i think ). Comes in a handy box with just usb cable ( no plug ). Has multiple torque settings as per need. Since i have lots of bits, it wasnt an issue for me. You can use this for inserting and removing most screws, but remember that it cant be used for those old stuck screws - it has very limited torque. For those kind of jobs you need to use a drill or better still an impact driver. This is a light handy small driver which will take the pain out of regular maintenance work - making it a breeze really.

Only con is that it lacks a light.. Otherwise it does what it does like a champ.. truly world class.. one observation it that it miserably slips with a slotted screw.. but that is the curse of the slotted screw upon the humanity... why do humans use slotted screws at all? The product arrived in factory sealed packaging 📦. There is a little QR code on the product to acertain it is genuine and register it with bosch online.. lo and behold I got 6 months additional warranty for registering.. see image.. charges to full in 30 to 40mins.and used for 10-15min every day for a whole week... I am very HAPPY with this purchase..

Product not working within 6 months. no repair service available

We bought it in June 2021. Earlier it was working fine but suddenly after 3-4 months it stopped working. We tried to contact customer support in Bosch but there is no way to reach by call . and filling online service request is not helping us as no response received yet even after multiple attempts. We tried to get it repaired with local technician but they said it is Irrepairable item and needs to be replaced whenever it makes any problem. so seems like it is just a use and throw item. So buy it only if you are ready to expense 3000 Rs. for a use and throw item.

Received in well packed condition. It was in charged condition so start using immediately. Good torque even at low level setting. Press to start function is very nice to operate. Bosch would have included led light so that it can be used in dark areas. The big disappointment was doesn’t have magnetic power to hold the screws.
