Pete Davidson may be off of SNL , but he'll still be part of the Peacock family with his new comedy series Bupkis .
Based on Davidson's life, but "a heightened, fictionalized version" (according to a release from the streamer), Bupkis stars Davidson, Oscar-winner Joe Pesci as his grandfather, and Emmy-winner Edie Falco as his mother.
Here's your first look at Davidson and Pesci as production begins on Bupkis .
Davidson will not only star in, but will write and executive produce the half-hour, live action comedy that will combine "grounded storytelling with absurd elements." Davidson previously mined his personal experience for 2020s critically-acclaimed The King of Staten Island .
SNL overlord Lorne Michaels will executive produce Bupkis , Judah Miller ( Crashing ) will serve as showrunner and with Dave Sirus ( The King of Staten Island ) will write and executive produce, alongside executive producers Andrew Singer ( The Other Two ) and Erin David ( MacGruber ). Jason Orley ( Big Time Adolescence ) will direct and co-executive produce.
No release date has yet been set for Bupkis .

Fox News has been slammed for apparently trying to vilify President Joe Biden over a private voicemail message he allegedly sent to Hunter Biden during a difficult phase in his son’s battle with substance abuse.
Sean Hannity on Monday aired the 2018 voicemail, obtained by the Daily Mail , in which Joe Biden says to his son: “It’s Dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the whole world, pal. You gotta get some help. I know you don’t know what to do. I don’t either.”

“It’s actually sad,” Hannity said of the message. “Now that voicemail reportedly came at the exact same time Hunter lied on a gun application to buy a handgun.”
“By the way, replace the name Biden with Trump and imagine how the mob and the media would be covering all of this,” Hannity added. “Instead, they’d rather perpetuate one hoax after another, just like they did with the dirty Steele dossier .”
Hunter Biden is under federal investigation and could face charges over tax crimes and making a false statement while buying a gun, The Washington Post reported last week. According to the Daily Mail, the voicemail was sent on Oct. 15, 2018, three days after the alleged gun purchase.
Hunter Biden later wrote in his book about his lifelong struggle with addiction and said he used drugs heavily in 2018.
There has been no evidence to suggest Joe Biden was aware of the gun purchase. The president ― who lost his first wife and daughter in a car crash and his son Beau in 2015 to brain cancer ― stood by Hunter throughout his battle with drug addiction and said he was “proud of him” for overcoming it.
Commenters weren’t sure what point Fox News thought it was making by sharing the private message, beyond showcasing a father’s love and concern for his child.

Controversial Australian social commentator Prue MacSween has been called out for sending tweets aimed at current and former Labor prime ministers to the wrong accounts.
Ms MacSween sent a tweet lambasting Anthony Albanese to an 'Italian porn artist' rather than the Prime Minister, and then sent a barb fired at Paul Keating to a fake account that hasn't posted in 13 years.
Her tweet about Labor's 'dilemma' over stage three tax cuts said the party wants to 'establish economic management creds, which they’ve never had.
'But do they risk a 'there will be no climate tax' Gillard moment? And what does legislated policy mean if they don’t deliver tax cuts? No wonder @Albo is MIA (missing in action).'
Self-styled schoolboy journalist Leonardo Puglisi, 15, tweeted back at Ms MacSween to say 'Prue, he's MIA as prime minister because he's actually an Italian porn artist.'

She responded with a snarky tweet back to Mr Puglisi, saying 'I look forward to the time when you grow up. I wonder if that will ever happen?'
He was not deterred, though, replying 'look I gotta admire the fact you took over 24 hours to think of this reply, I just tweet whatever comes to my mind'.
Mr Puglisi also said to Ms MacSween 'Prue you're 56 years older than me but yet I know which twitter handle is the PM and which twitter handle is an Italian porn artist.'
Contacted by Daily Mail Australia, the young reporter said Ms MacSween should 'continue tweeting as it's funny to correct her every single time.
'Some might say tagging the wrong accounts constantly is her own little dark age,' Mr Puglisi said.
In a response to Daily Mail Australia, Ms MacSween said she is 'Not interested in talking about this precocious, attention-seeking individual.'
On Wednesday, Ms MacSween also tagged the wrong Paul Keating in a jibe at the man who was a Labor prime minister from 1991 to 1996.

The problem was that @PaulKeatingPM clearly states it is a 'Fake Paul Keating having his say on everything.'
And the account also has not posted anything since November 3, 2009.
Mr Puglisi spotted that too, and said he was not having a go at Ms McSween due to her seniority.
'It's not an attack on her age - but like, she’s been on Twitter like 10 years more than me, is a lot older than me and has been in media a lot.
'So you'd think after all that she'd be able to tag the right account,' he said.
