Slovakia also has Euro which means skiing there is more expensive. Nowadays many Slovakians are acutally skiing in PL, coz it's cheaper. Personally I'd give it a try- that might be an interesting experience. I live near by Szczyrk so if you wanna go there I can give you specific info.
