The U.S. attorney's office said Christine Alyce Slayman pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography on Aug. 30, 2018. (U.S. Attorney's Office)
A Virginia woman will spend 40 years in federal prison for sexual abuse videos involving a 6-year-old boy, according to court documents .
Christine Alyce Slayman, 28, pleaded guilty in August to filming the sexual abuse for several months in 2015 using her cellphone, court documents said. The abuse took place in King William, Va., but the videos were found in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received a tip and investigated Slayman’s Jacksonville home, the U.S. attorney’s office said. Authorities found nearly 20 different video files of Slayman engaging in or directing the child to do sex acts, according to court documents .
Slayman’s attorney said his client was “critically instructed” by her boyfriend to engage in sex acts with the child and film the abuse, WWBT reported . Slayman’s boyfriend, who has not yet been indicted, transferred the files to a USB drive, which he brought when the couple moved to Jacksonville from Virginia, her attorney said.
His purpose in “retaining the videos,” according to Slayman’s attorney, “was to later extort behavior consistent with his desires.”
WWBT reported that the victim is the custody of another family member. It wasn’t immediately clear what the child’s relation to Slayman was. The investigation involved Homeland Security and the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Former " Boy Meets World " actress Maitland Ward is returning to television after enjoying a second act of sorts in the world of adult filmmaking where she’s made a name for herself.
Ward, 44, is best known for her role as the tall redhead who played Rachel McGuire on the popular ‘90s sitcom.
Now Ward is looking to maintain careers in both areas of visual production and is set to produce and star in and new comedy series, titled, "The Big Time," which is centered on a "world-famous adult superstar."
"The Big Time," will mark a return to the small screen for the frequent cosplayer and award-winning adult actress, who embarked on her porn career in 2019, nearly two decades after the end of "Boy Meets World."

"I want to slay both industries," Ward told the New York Post . "I love and embrace both. Me being bold and free in my sexuality and so out there with it has really given me that power. When I was like this innocent flower, I was letting everyone else dictate what I should do or what I should be."
The TV actress-turned-porn star said she is used to being counted out and through her time working as an X-rated performer, said many have warned she’d never land a gig in Hollywood again.
"When people always say, ‘Oh porn’s going to ruin you. You’ll never be seen by mainstream again. Nobody will ever want to hire you and porn will ruin it,’" said Ward, adding that producing "The Big Time" on her own volition has "given me my acting career back. It really has."
In addition to her role on "Boy Meets World," Ward also held down spots on "Home Improvement," "Rules of Engagement" and the 2004 film "White Chicks."

Ward’s latest effort into TV production will be developed by Leaving Normal Productions and Brett Azar, from NBC’s "Young Rock" is also set to co-star in the show, which will begin shooting in May in New York.
"The writers came to me with the idea," Ward said of her intrigue. "When I read their concept and everything in their original script, it was so sex-positive and fun. My character was based on me really because … it’s just my kind of persona."
The show will see Ward’s character tapped to "save a waning film studio on the brink of collapse" after a successful career in the adult film industry.
"It’s going to have nudity, but it is going to be light-hearted," Ward said of the series. "It’s not going to be like, bubblegum."She said in an interview last July that some of her new viewers find comfort in the fact that she's a familiar face from the past.
"I have one wonderful fan who says his wife was not comfortable exploring new things in bed. She wasn't confident in her sexuality and didn't know what to do, but she likes watching me," Ward told the Post at the time.

Here are some of the biggest beauty pageant scandals.
Even beauty pageant queens are subject to scandal.
From cheating rumors to nude-photo pasts, pageant winners are sometimes stripped of their titles.
Here are 13 times we found beauty pageant winners caught in a controversy:

Genesis Davila lost her crown after pageant organizers accused the former Miss Florida USA winner of cheating. Davila is fighting back, seeking $15 million from the pageant for defamation.
She was accused by the pageant's director, Grant Gravitt Jr., of violating the rules by getting her hair and makeup professionally done based on an Instagram post. However, Davila's lawyers argue that the photo was taken a week before the pageant and their client did not cheat.

In this July 30, 2016 photo, Miss Texas Karlie Hay is crowned and given flowers as the new Miss Teen USA 2016 during the pageant in Las Vegas. Racist language in old tweets from the freshly crowned Miss Teen USA is just the latest controversy for the Miss Universe Organization, which suffered a round of turmoil last year over then-owner Donald Trump's inflammatory comments against Mexicans.

Karlie Hay came under fire for controvesial tweets she made in 2013 and 2014 right after she was crowned Miss Teen USA 2016.
Screen grabs of Hay's old tweets showed her referring to her followers with the N-word, in a joking manner.
Hay later apologized for those comments stating, "Through hard work, education and thanks in large part to the sisterhood that I have come to know through pageants, I am proud to say that I am today a better person."

Vanessa Williams was the first ever African-American Miss America, but the victory was short-lived when Penthouse magazine published racy photos of the beauty taken several years prior.
A humiliated Vanessa was forced to resign, but was able to triumph in the face of controversy with a highly successful career.
The former Miss New Jersey 2007 was forced to turn in her crown after becoming pregnant, as the Miss USA rules don't allow contestants who are pregnant or have children.

Katie Blair, Miss Teen USA 2006, came under fire after stories surfaced claiming she danced on tables and made out with Miss USA Tara Connor during a night of drinking and snorting cocaine.
Connor took most of the heat for the incident, but Blair faced the wrath of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), who announced they would no longer use her as their spokeswoman against underage drinking.
Yes, we can see why that might happen.

Following in the clumsy footsteps of Rachel Smith, crowned Miss USA the year before, Crystle Stewart fell flat on her tush during the evening gown competition in 2008.
Not exactly a scandal, but embarrassing nonetheless!

After compromising photos of Rees were posted on MySpace, the 2007 Miss Nevada USA was forced to give back her crown.
She found herself in hot water once again in 2008 after an altercation with a cop led to an arrest.
Wallace, the first American to win Miss World, was stripped of her title after less than four months due to behavior that was deemed inappropriate for a beauty queen, such as purported dalliences with high-profile men such as Tom Jones and George Best.
When Fedorova gave up her Miss Universe crown, rumors swirled that she was pregnant. However, the beauty countered that the many responsibilities required of her interfered with her university studies.
Leona was stripped of her crown one day after winning Miss USA in 1957 when her mother-in-law revealed that she was married with two children and that her real age was 18, not 21, which was written on her application.
Danielle was stripped of her Miss Great Britain 2006 title when it was revealed that she had posed for Playboy and had dated one of the judges during the time of the pageant.

Prejean's scandalous ventures began when, in the Miss America 2009 competition, she was asked what her views were on same-sex marriage.
She answered stating that a marriage "should be between a man and a woman," for which she received a lot of hate from the public.
Prejean, after the pageant, fell into more controversy when she posted nude pictures of her online, and publicly claimed that the Miss USA pageant was rigged.

Talackova was one of the hopefuls for winning the Miss Universe pageant in 2012, until the pageant organizers found out she was transgender, according to the National Post.
The Miss Universe rules required all contestants to be born female, and as a result she was disqualified.
A grassroots petition signed by thousands of fans convinced the pageant to change the rules and let the Miss Canada compete.
Talackova eventually made it to the Top 12.
