Wrestling fans are in an UPROAR after WWE dropped a bombshell about the start time for tonight’s highly anticipated Backlash event—and the backlash is REAL!

'Why So Late?!' – Fans Fume Over Scheduling

The premium live event, emanating from Lyon, France, was originally expected to kick off at the usual 1 PM ET / 10 AM PT for U.S. audiences. But in a shocking twist, WWE confirmed the show will instead start at 3 PM ET / 12 PM PT—leaving fans scrambling to adjust their schedules.

'This is total B.S.!' raged one fan on Twitter (X). 'I took the day off work for this, and now I have to wait TWO extra hours?!'

Others speculated whether the delay was due to last-minute production issues or a secret superstar appearance—with wild rumors swirling that CM Punk or even The Rock could be involved. (WWE has ZERO comment.)

Meanwhile, European viewers are fuming because the later start means the event won’t end until past midnight local time—making it a grueling watch for families.
